Review Breadtop - Chadstone

Product is good, but never opens on time for the past 3 weeks they are at less 10mins late to open. Most people won't have a problem. But for us that needs to get to work and have to wait outside for them to open is annoying. If you can't be punctual with you business hour the Change the opening time advertised please. Lucky there is another similar bakery around the corner that opens on time.

Breadtop products is some of the best bread I've ever indulged in. So soft, fluffy and flavoursome! With so many options to choose from, you'll sure be in carbohydrate heaven at Breadtop.

Just brought something from this store, the girl with glasses is very nice . The other two girls are rather disappointing. Worst service on earth. If you don’t want to work, talk to your boss and don’t ruin your customers’ day.

Always the same standard at all the stores. Price should be lower. Not many cake varieties left at 4pm. Looks like most staffs are teenage students.

Never in my life have I’ve seen such rude a bad customer service. Treated other customers and myself included very bad. When asking for the girl serving her name, she not only refuse but was extremely rude asking me why and when I said so I can speak to the manager she responded she is the manager telling me that there’s nothing I can do. Bread top I have been your loyal customer for many years but after been mistreated especially in front of people along with other customers, I will be taking my business else where.

The rudest staff I’ve ever seen with black frame glasses. I went there around 4:45pm on 10th of May and asked her about a cake but she aggressively talked to me. She said “read it, read it”. Even when she explained description impolitely. Due to her attitude, I didn’t say that I forgot to bring my glasses. Breadtop was one of my favourite bakery shop but not anymore I’m strongly disappointed and never going back. Im pretty sure I’ll talk to all my friends about it

This breadtop has its own take on some of the savoury items (hotdogs, naan) and its not good

Just like any Breadtop, this one serves many breads and desserts. It is very convenient to have Breadtop almost anywhere. <br/><br/>Their cakes are sweet. I love their savoury breads and taro buns. There are many options that vary in quality and taste. Not all are delicious but there will always be something for anyone.

I just love bread top! My go to bun is the twin sausage bun. The selection here is not that large but they have my main faves I.e the garlic naan , cheese sticks, sausage buns, curry beef bun and the garlic ham and cheese

Lord knows I need energy to cope with Chadstone on a weekend and thankful there’s affordable Breadtop here for a fuss free carb and sugar heavy snack. I grabbed a tasty pull apart choc bun on this occasion and it worked a treat on my sugar level... battle on.

so we ordered the sausage in bun and barbeque pork in bun . To be honest even when the bread quality was awesome the overall taste was just average.

While the quality of their cakes remain the same, their prices have been creeping up slowly over the years. <br/><br/>We bought a Black Forest cake recently. The chocolate sponge was light and not too sweet. The cream was not too over powering. There were fewer cherries than usual and lo and behold, one of the cherries still had its seed in it.....a cardinal sin!<br/><br/>Sigh...I hope Breadtop is not becoming too complacent. It really has to pick up its game if it wants to stay on top.

Located in Chadstone, this breadtop is well lit and bright and serves a wide range of breads and cakes. Attractive store front and the breads are well glazed and fluffy. Nice place for breads on the go.

One of my favourite places to go for something to eat when I visit Chadstone (which is often).  Never been disappointed with what I eat and they make the best coffee ever. Reasonable prices too.

I had a custard bun and there was no custard at all. Bread top which is in the city is much much better than this place. So disappointing. Price was reasonable and service was alright. I hope you do not destroy other chains reputation..

Having been here quite often, their buns always seem to have a consistent flavour. Service is quick & there are a great selection of buns/ pastries to choose from. Although their items can be quite oily, I would recommend the spring onion bun and classic sausage buns!

BT always a 'safe' place to buy bread/cake whenever I need a quick fix but don't want to feel very full afterwards.<br/>Price is very reasonable, and the taste is always as expected. I tried almost everything they had, and so far so good.<br/>Service was good and quick. <br/><br/><br/> <br/>

The breads are average tasting, sometimes after sitting for too long in the shelf the bread tastes a little stale and is cold. There is a nice variety of breads, I like the green tea rolls with red bean in them.

Buns and cakes are good. All good are fresh everyday. <br/>Love pork floss bun and strawberry cheese cake!<br/>That’s good to take seats in and have a coffee<br/>

I needed a little afternoon snack to keep me going and carbs to give me energy. <br/>I decided to try the Cheese and parmesian roll. This was a great savoury treat.

For this year's Valentine's Day we ordered a cake, the 7 inch Durian Gateau, online on Wednesday night and picked it up in store on Saturday. The cake looked great, the same as pictured online. This costed $39. Next was the taste test - the durian flavour was definately there in the white cream on top, some chunks of durian you can see in the layer of cream in the middle. The quantity of durian used is modest. Being a big durian fan, I'm rather used to good amounts of actual durian in a durian cake so this certainly could have been better. The sponge part was soft and was not too sweet. Cream is also on the lighter end so it doesn't feel to heavy in the tummy. Price also included a little message (no more than 30 words) so this was good.<br/>Update for June 2018: my partner gifted this cute cake in shape a dog. The 'fur' on the outside was mousse-like and inside was a moist chocolate cake with layers of chocolate cream (mousse-like) again. One for the kids/chocolater lovers I guess.

I don't rate the service much as it's never friendly but at least it's fast, probably too fast as the sweets sometimes gets thrown into the bags with unnecessary force.<br/><br/>Anyway, I go as my little people love certain items like the onion naan, cannoli, donuts, hotdog buns, custard buns and chocolate mousse. The cakes can be good value if you're looking for a cheap birthday cake. The puppy cake is a favourite for us. Certainly a good place for the occasional treat.<br/><br/>

A pretty decent Breadtop. I have come here on several occcasions. Not a huge fan of Malvern the suburb and I have a theory that sometimes the Breadtop creations are fresher the closer you get to the CBD, so keep that in mind. Have had a crusty stale creation here on occasion, but just as often have a fresh and lovely treat. Pork buns, Fujisans, coconut buns are what I seek out when I stop through when I do happen to find myself in Malvern.

This is white bread overload. Not a place if you're a bit of a health nut! <br/><br/>Little one went past and said "I want it I want it" pointing to the sausage in bread and he well; got it. <br/><br/>Only popped into the health shop 2 doors up but ended up here and he was ok with it. Very soft and fluffy bread; lots of random choices but I think I'll stick to my usual bakery - but too processed here!!!

Love this bread top inside chadstone in particular. They actually have comfortable seats inside and they surprisingly serve Hong Kong style milk tea ($3.7 larger mug). With their hokkaido cheese cake~$5. It's a great afternoon tea spot to take a rest before continuing with your shopping at chadstone again!
