Accolades to all at the Halfway Hotel!
We have been dining here weekly for the past 5 years and have very, very rarely been disappointed (when we have been the problem has been quickly rectified with a minimum of fuss). The quality of the food (the steaks are always perfectly cooked) & professionalism of the staff (thanks Oscar, Berat, Sue & all) is exceptional! Many so-called “top eating venues” could learn a lesson or two from this hotel. Again thank you!
Needs some decent beers. Steaks were actually bloody good. OK wine list. Specials board looked good. Red wine jus tasted a bit too much like Worcestershire but was still tasty. Staff were really good. Place to let the kids play and kids crap to keep them busy. Nice tub chairs while we had a pre dinner drink. It certainly has potential. Good staff made this visit extra enjoyable.
You know what? I wasn't expecting too much from the Halfway when we went but they are a Graziers steakhouse. Seemed like an average looking bistro when we arrived but the service was actually quite good and the food i rated as an equal. Steaks were both cooked spot on and the bottle of wine we had was well priced as well. Go for a meal, don't expect the world and you will be happy. Give it a go
I judge a pub on its schnitzel and boy was it good! Just the way I like it! Presentation was great, salad (mini Caesar) was fresh and the pepper sauce had a great flavor. The boyfriend had the fish and chips, the batter was crisp, the fish light an flakey and the chips crunchy and delicious. The price was good and we didn't have to wait long!
Omg Amazing service and absolutely stunning food. Brought my staff from the woolies group down. We can't wait to come back. 🙌 affordable pricing, playground and great memories. 10 stars to the chef/artist they know thier presentation.
Food was delicious and hot, served quickly, no untimely delays. The staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The menu had a good variety of meals to choose from as well as a kids menu. Everything was very reasonably priced and I would be more than happy to return for a meal in the future.
Have been here twice now, friendly staff, great meals, nice large serves and we never wait more than 10 minutes at lunchtime.
Went for a work function, friendliest staff and the food was amazing! I had the maroccan salmon and partner had 500g rib eye, both cooked to perfection. We had so many orders coming out and the staff did such a good job getting everyone the right orders so impressed. Thank you for the lovely experience!
Just brilliant and tasty pub food. Just good food that your happy to pay for.
I had graziers beef pie with mash potato mm yummy! And hubby had beef korma and wasn't hot but just great flavours.
Had the house burger with a big jug of beer - I’m a regular here and the food has always been good - especially for the price. Highly recommended for those who don’t want to be in crammed spaces on a Saturday night!
