Review Rossini - Chatswood

Excellent dining, especially for a big breakfast. The buttered toasts are excellent with sausage, eggs (fried, scrambled, water-boiled, you name it!), bacons, fried mashrooms, and all the vegetables! The coffee is top grade. What a sublime breakfast! Even my baby daughter likes my takeaway breaky.

I was in the mood for a nice cafe breakfast, but I walked by Rossini in the food court and had to stop. I got the antipasto breakfast plate with a piccolo latte. The breakfast is what I would expect from a big breakfast at other cafes. The portions were generous and the price was low for what was given. The food came out quick and hot. The toast was thick and perfectly cooked. I was tossing up between this meal and Eggs Benedict, because I was craving hollandaise but the hollandaise was offered as a sauce option. The coffee was good, too.

Barista was awfully rude, when ordering he kept doing his job and didn’t seem to listen when taking the order, almost like he didn’t know his customers where there. Forgot to give us our food. However, the cook was very polite and thoughtful.

Great price versus the amount of foods, compared to the Jamaican Blue at Charswood Westfield. Service was great too, the owner and the barista were very lovely.

Only cafe opens at 730am. Pretty good coffee. They serve breakfast and pasta made to order too.

I’ve had mixed experiences at this place. The guy who cooks up the breakfast dishes in the morning is very friendly but the barista has horrible attitude.

I love this place. I ordered a chicken and mushroom white creamy pasta which was very filling. They offer pasta for $10.00 which is amazing as the portions are huge and they put extra cheese on top for you. Great value for money and delicious food.

Been to the Circular Quay Rossini many times over the years so knew pretty much what to expect! Come here when you are really hungry and are looking for comfort food. Had the lamb shank with mixed vegetables and the meat was flavoursome, juicy and tender! The pastas are really hearty; many with creamy sauces! The cannelloni with ricotta, spinach and pumpkin is old school but so satisfying! Grab an Italian pastry to finish if you are still hungry! The bomboloni and Nutella brioche look amazing!

Rossini had the longest queue in the food court so we thought to get a coffee there, it must be good right? While in the queue we saw they serve a great deal for breakfast and a lot of people seemed to be ordering it (eggs, tomatoes, sausage, bacon and mushroom on toast with a coffee for $13.50) so we jumped on the bandwagon. Hubby thought the food was so so, I thought it was still a good deal!

I have been here several times with friends for breakfast and lunch. We tried pouched eggs with vegetables a few times. For lunch we only tried lamb shank and octopus salad so far. Everything was fresh and incredible. Service is immaculate. They deserve 5 out of 5 in my opinion.

I keep going there for their lamb shank and octopus salad! Amazing quality. Very friendly staff/owner.

I order my breakfast with coffee to takeaway, when my breakfast was ready to go & just found my coffee in normal cup to have It there, I just ask him to change it to take away , the owner got quiet angry &he said i need to order coffee to him & not to his partner and then he said he won't sale any coffee to me , I just return my food & left them. I found him very rude & angry , that's my last time to have any meal there.

A decent Italian feed in Chatswood Chase. They serve a variety of pastas, salads and heartier meat dishes. I opted for the Chicken breast boscaiola with a side of roasted vegetables. Loved the roasted veggies especially the baked potatoes. The chicken was relatively good considering it's been out for a while. A decent choice for lunch whilst shopping at Chase.

UNHYGIENIC FOOD & HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I ordered 2 plates and later found 3 pieces of long curvy hair in one item. I was almost about to throw up.

When I showed that to the counter, the man in 50s asked me that why I came to show him after eating half of the food and how did he know that I hadn't put the hair to ask for refund of 1 plate. I have hardly encountered such rudeness with little sign of concern as if it's common to have hair in food they serve.

It seriously poses question on the hygiene and minimum cleanliness followed in their kitchen. Not sure whether a formal complaint can be lodged against their unhygienic condition!!!
