道地,家鄉,醍醐味。 好朋友的店,快來幫我按個讚!
這是我弟妹的店,東西超好吃店員也很可口,可惜我們賣藝不賣身,歡迎各位江湖俠客蒞臨賞光!
Can’t really fault this place and not really sure why people giving them low ratings. The lady boss were super polite and very accommodating. Food was served up quick enough and healthy portions. Most importantly it taste good.
As mentioned the seating is limited but kudos on a delicious setup!
They have a pretty extensive menu so we’ll be back to sample more!
Great, small restaurant in Chatswood.
Staff are friendly and very good value for food and tea. Possibly could have more seasoning and slight higher quality in the food
Lunch deal is great value
recommend this place for milk tea
The one thing I look forward to experiencing in Chatswood, Hu's Inn is my first experience of delicious and nutritious Taiwanese cuisine. Best meal you can get for $10.90 during their lunchtime specials, it's like eating at a Chinese home, very hard to beat or find.
ORDERED: Braised Pork Shaved Noodles, Silly Noodle with Shredded Pork, Silken Tofu with Century Egg, Salt & Pepper Fried Chicken ($27.80). When I think of Taiwanese cuisine, I think of a myriad of street snacks galvanised through a melting pot of Asian subcultures and taste buds. It is heavily influenced by mid to Southern Chinese provinces and utilises an array of seasoning to boost flavour, such as soy sauce, rice wine, pickled vegetables and chilli peppers.
That impressed me a lots, the best taste of Taiwanese food in Sydney. Good location, nice staff. The noodles is good but delicious. The sausage have the same taste in Taiwan.
Ordered the fried pork rice set "bento box" it contained freshly fried pork which had a fantastic crispy salt and pepper coating, and came with the following sides a tasty seaweed salad, soft Tofu had a lovely soy and chili oil sauce and a scrambled egg and roasted tomato and sweet tomato sauce. I really enjoy great food like this that is truly a treat for the taste buds, if this is what hawker style Taiwanese street food is like, then I need to plan a trip to Taipei asap .
Only down side is there is only a handful of tables, but on the positive this does add to the atmosphere.
Overall this restaurant has set a new benchmark in price / quality / taste that will be extremely hard to beat, the bottom line is I’m giving this place my first and only 5 out 5 star rating, yes it’s really that good !!!
I love this little tiny store with friendly service! Cheap eats in Chatswood. I think this is the best Taiwanese restaurant in Sydney. Food tastes so good that makes me always wanna come back to it. Strongly recommended the squid ball, marinated pork rice and large deep fried chicken leg... Actually all the deep fried snacks are so good!
Cheap place to eat if you want to save money throughout the day. Staff very friendly. Offers cash only. There's many varieties to choose from and what I love about this place is, there's buy 1 get 1 free drink. Saves you heaps of money. Mostly recommend when your around in Chatswood. Taiwanese cuisine

Hu’s Inn on Archer Street in Chatswood is a Taiwanese Restaurant specialising in Xaochi or snack-style food and that makes it a great place to stop for lunch or a light dinner. Xaochi is a style of Chinese and Taiwanese food which is similar in nature to the Spanish Tapas consisting of smallish snack-style combination of dishes.
Really like the food here. I don't think its quite Taiwanese street food but it is a good place for small bites but it can be a little pricey for the size of the servings.
