Xic Lo Vietnamese Restaurant Chatswood - Chatswood - Photo album

An average budget Vietnamese restaurant with decent food. I was a little confused when served with this as I ordered the curry fried rice. The quantity is a little lacking but not worth a complaint. The taste is decent and caters to most people's tastes. The only thing was that the pricing may be a
The best Vietnamese food in Chatswood/Lane Cove/North Sydney, well because there's not a lot of options around. Awesome spring roll and broken rice. Consistent good taste in years. Would be 5 if they have better/cleaner toilet.
I love this place, it's so PHO'king good! the special beef noodle soup is one of the best in Sydney. The broth is awesome and I've never had an issue here, i think the complainers are just whingers. The fried chicken wings are hectik and the special vermicelli salad is the bomb. Price is fantastic a
There's one thing that makes a dining experience extremely unpleasant is being charge a premium for a simple dish such as a fried rice. This was compounded by the use of very cheap and poor quality ingredients. The tiny portion served on a very messy plate makes it hard to stomach.
Terrible place... let us in to eat, served us and then promptly started to clean around us. At 9.15 they asked if I wanted a take away container for my soup! Threw us out at 9.20. Nothing like eating soup under the pressure of being watched my 10 eyes! Very, very unpleasant.
I would not even give 1 star if I could. Ordered the special beef pho and it was the worst I have ever come across. Beef was off, tripe was off, even the beef ball was off. The taste was foul. I had to spit it all out to ensure I wouldn't have food poisoning later. I only had some of the noodles. B
Things I like: The food is great (tasting bowl with vermicelli is a winner). Free tea Quick service Cheap Large parking complex near by Things I don't like: Staff aren't all that friendly, they aren't unfriendly or rude but a bit robotic. Decor is dated, it's not terrible but it doesn't look great.
Good priced pho, especially in the area. But restaurant a bit shabby. Noodles were good with black bean sauce, but beef sometimes chewy and soup a bit salty. Servings on the meagre side.
