Review Sweet Delight Bakery - Chatswood

Delicious authentic food especially their Vietnamese range. Good variety of baked goods too from cakes to cupcakes, pastries and savoury treats like Aussie pies, sausage rolls etc plus their freshly baked loaves and rolls. Drinks especially coffee, hot chocolate, iced chocolate, smoothies or milkshake is a must before you leave. If those aren't to the taste, then a soft drink, tea or juice will be the way to go. If there's something to recommend to eat, it's definitely hands up their new Vietnamese rolls (grilled lemongrass chicken/pork) - available in noodle salads too, my family's favourite! And of course, I never leave without a cappuccino for mum and a iced chocolate for myself. Friendly staff who remember you and love to greet you by name. Definitely be back everyday if I could!

This place used to be amazing. The last few times I've been there it has been an absolute rip off. $7.50 for a salad roll with 10c worth of lettuce & carrot, no chili, no sauce, no siracha. Don't waste your money.

Pastries very tasty& Coffee nicely brewed. The set up of the tables is very comfortable and a snack can be experienced in nice surroundings. The staff are very pleasant and the coffee is very tasty.

Terrible cake Bought a carrot cake from this bakery today. Horrible! The cake didn't rise at all, solid as a rock. The icing did not contain any cream cheese. Even the walnuts were stale. I can make a better carrot cake from a packet in the supermarket. Ruined a birthday celebration :(

The Vietnamese pork roll “banh mi” here are pretty good and come with the traditional ingredients, pâté, Mayo, three kinds of cold cuts, carrot, cucumber, coriander and shallots.

Stopped by for an afternoon snack. Ended up with a mini apple crumble & mini lemon meringue tart. The apple crumble was lovely, just right sweetness with melt in your mouth pastry. Feels just like something you get out of grandma's oven! The lemon meringue was a bit over sweet, the meringue was really thick & dense, not enough tartness.

Delightful bakery offering an attractive display of cakes, tarts and slices, plus breads, pies and sausage rolls. The custard tart that we had was a generous size for $3.50 and had a nice pastry and generous sprinkling of nutmeg.
