Review Hero Sushi - Chatswood

Good place to grab a small snack. I like their scallop sushi, but the pricing is "per piece". Salmon avocado from here is quite nice too. There is generally seating available at the tables next to this place (but maybe that is because I am there during non-lunch hours) The counter is quite high which could be annoying for shorter people who may not be able to easily reach up. Service is generally pretty quick

Really really nice sushi I particularly love their chicken katsu box, very nice mix of flavours that work just right Very nice happy staff with very quick and efficient service

The place used to be good, but now the quality is so poor and the price is insanely expensive for what it's worth. The size of the sushis are also tiny. I bought a tuna roll recently and after eating it I felt really sick. Definitely was the sushi because I didn't eat anything else for lunch. Please PLEASE don't sell us old sushi

Seriously this particular outlet used to be quite good, a 3/5. Felt compelled to post this as i grabbed a salmon avo roll ($4) which has shrunken in size n increased in price. To top it off, the salmon made an insulting disappearing act halfway thru the roll... smh.. And the weeny salmon itself was questionable in its freshness. No, it aint turn bad yet. Best go for their nigiri n sushi if you are so inclined to buy from here.

The sushi is great but the service is terrible. The staff left my sushi on the very high counter, wouldn't help me put it in a plastic bag and when, surprise surprise it fell on the floor I had to pay for more!

Sushi is always nice and fresh when i have been there and got takeway. I ordered delivery and was missing some rolls, thankfully it was fixed up and i received a refund for what was missing.

The location is convenient for a quick meal after shopping. The food quality is standard relative to other hero sushi and average relative to other take away sushi shops.

Really yum 😋 always a fan of sushi. I bought this at the end of the day though, so might not be as fresh as possible but I still loved the taste. Really creamy sauce and the prawn crunchy sushi had great texture. Will be back!

my all time favorite. grab and go perfect for my lifestyle. scalop, dragon, volcano roll, wild rice salmon&avocado, seaweed inari always taste consistently good never disappointed me. with lunch box money I get more satisfied taste buds than what I get at many other upper market sushi bars.

Be careful when they give you your change back. I purchased 1 $3.50 roll, handed the lady a $20, and she gave me some coins and a $5 folded twice - I guess to make it look like 2 notes.

Also, the hand roll I purchased was about 2/3rd's the size of any other roll I have purchased in Sydney. I will not be going back to this place.

A nice place for quick takeaway sushi. I tried a few of the individual sushi pieces and my favourites was the volcano roll. The grilled salmon and grilled scallops were nice but cold. However I do like how you can select however many or little pieces you want and create your own sushi box!

Finding a quick feed during my break, is always a race against time. Sushi has never let me down, but cheap sushi is always bonus.
Hero sushi is one of my favourite takeaway sushi joints. For one, they don't skimp on the fillings. Also, they're end of the day deals is a must!

At closing time all remaining sushi rolls sell for just $2 each - bargain! Despite being the end of trade, the tuna and avocado rolls that we had were quite fresh.

Probably my favourite sushi place inside Westfield, but there's only three or so places so not much choice but I prefer to come here. There's always a good selection of different rolls and boxes, and I do like that they make the sushi in front of you so you can see that it's made fresh before you buy. I always end up grabbing a box and a couple of rolls, with my favourite being the Spicy Box. They also take eftpos, so it means that I don't always have to carry cash if I want sushi. Definitely recommend if you're in Westfield for a quick lunch.
