Review May's - Chatswood

An overall good shopping centre but doesn't include all the things you might want or need. The food court is really good and the overall atmosphere is nice. It also has a hoyts at the top which is good. If you need something that you can't find something you need just go to Chatswood Westfield which is a benefit because it's right next door. Overall a good shopping centre but doesn't have everything you may need or want so thats why it's four stars.

The Mandarin Centre is always clean it full of interesting things. Does a convenient car park underneath and a wide variety of shops. It's always nice and clean and the staff in the shops are always friendly.

This place is so rundown and desperately needs a make over. The food court feels like it’s just the same stores over and over no variety. The only two saving graces for this centre is TK Maxx which is awesome and the cinema. The facilities are old and the amenities are always filthy. Plus, the male toilets on the first level have been “out of order” for over a year. Although, personally I can only attest to 6 months as I was here about 6 months ago and they were closed and the same sign is still up now and someone had written on the sign. It doesn’t look like they are ever going to be “fixed” see photo. This is very odd and lazy to be honest. Surely one toilet for the whole centre is not on. Two stars for the cinema and TK Maxx.

Highway robbery!!! The parking said free for 3 hours. By the time I realised I had to validate my ticket I had cars behind me so I couldn't reverse. $11 just turned my $29 movie ticket into a $40 ticket 😠 be careful is all I can say.

Mandarin centre is a nice shopping mall mainly for those who like asian vibes and chinese in particular. I always enjoy going there with my lovely asian friends. Food court has variety options and almost all food is kinda reasonable priced. The only issue with some shops is they fill up your bowl with rice and they put tiny chicken or meat peaces, this is literally not fair. Parking is not hard. You can access it from victor street and Albert Avenue. Also, it is very close to Chatswood train station, metro, buses and many facilities.

This carpark need to redesign. When it's busy, the cars were not able to exit as the incoming cars jammed into the same driveway. Easier to park at Westfield.

Lots of good food in the food court! But parking is so tricky. Need to verify before getting out.....

Honestly, it depends what you look for. When I stepped inside there I felt I went back in time about 30 or 40 years ago, even though I know this place used to have much nicer shops and was lots more fun in the past.. there used to be tech shops there, sound systems and Sony shop so when I went in and found they are all gone and we're all replaced with 2$ shop like shops I was a bit disappointed... Otherwise the food area felt a bit smelly and was only Asian foods.
