Review Pattison's Patisserie - Chatswood

All the pastry looks beautiful but most of them are too sweet and the coffee is average. The staffs here are never welcoming either.

I had a business meeting here today and the staff were super nice and friendly. The coffee was great too.

4.8 - Large Almond Flat White $5.70. Tastes really good here - nutty and flavoursome, no burnt smell like with the other Cafes. Filled to the top.

Spacious venue ideal for pastries and afternoon tea. The vanilla tart was really nice

Friendly service. Not the best coffee. Chicken mayo pesto sandwich was delicious. And their tea cakes and biscuits are a must try.

We usually eat elsewhere but decided to try something different. The coffee and food were delicious but the lunch menu was not very extensive. There is a much greater selection of cakes and sweets available so if what you want is a coffee and a snack then this is the place.

Excellent customer service- warmth & requested for warming up the coffee, did it with a smile and checked with us if it's fine. We had a lovely coffee and blueberry cheese cake, yumm!!

I got a chocolate custard eclair for $6.80- it was 1, if not 2, days old and stale. I could not eat it and had to throw it away. Very disappointing.

This place offers a large variety of cakes and pastries but they’re quite expensive. Their chai latte here is quite good.

I went to Pattinson’s this morning. Today was A cold day that’s for sure which is why I really was excited for a coffee. We stepped into the store and the decor was very nice but it was FREEZING to say the least! The coffee was tiny and way too overpriced for the serving size and flavour. It took way too long seeing there were only three people in the store and about 4 staff. Whilst the Lemon tart was lovely it wouldn’t convince me to go back again.

Bought an inedible chocolate mud cake for a birthday party. I returned it the next day & they would not refund my money. I've taken my complaint to Fair Trading.

I used the love Pattison's, but recently the gloss have come off a bit. Still it's a nice place to stopped & have a treat & a coffee or tea after some shopping. I had a fleur de lys with tea. The fleur de lys is effectively a choc mousse with a biscuit base topped with half a macaron. Great if you love your chocolates, cause there's lots of it. A little sweet for me, but not bad when in need of a sugar hit.

hanging around the mall and decide to try out some sweet treats at pattison, macaroons was nice and fluffy, the lemon meringue was a little bit too sweet but it pare well with a dark ice chocolate drink.

Have visited this place numerous times and it has mostly been ok, Great selection of cakes, pies and tarts. Have in or takeaway option available. I have sampled most of the tarts and a few of the cakes and they have been good. Service is sometimes hit and miss. So i guess it depends on how they are feeling that day. Prices tend to be on the exy side!

Quality cakes, slices and biscuits. Coffee is not bad. Since their early days originating in St Ives the growth in stores has also resulted in an exponential growth in their prices.

Rude staff, unhelpful and worst experience ever. Apparently pTisseries don't use knives. I write to you in relation to a poor experience at Chatswood Chase on Thursday 16 April.

At approximately 5pm I entered the store looking for a cake to celebrate my birthday. I asked if the cake came with a knife. They said no. I asked if they could cut the cake. They said no. I asked if I could use their knife to cut the cake. They said no. I said why not? They said there is no cake on premise. This is a load of rubbish. What Pattiserie doesn’t have a knife?

In the end, they asked me to use a plastic knife to cut a $50 cake. Who wants to do that? The girls treated me with no respect. I was disgusted.

Please address the following:-
1. Provide training to ALL staff on the use of knives;
2. Consider getting plastic cutting utensils;
3. Consider cutting cakes for customers when requested.

I would like you to also phone me with an explanation of why I was treated so poorly.

I have been a customer of Pattison’s for many years. This was the worst experience on any Birthday I’ve had. I was purchasing a cake to celebrate with my hair dresser who was near Chatswood Chase.

I walked over to 85 degrees Chatswood who offered me candles, plates, forks and a knife - all complimentary. I even got a smile and they wished me Happy Birthday. All this for $28.00. What a difference attitude can make in staff.

Obviously I'm not the only one as other comments echo my concerns

Cold Stale Cakes which are days old. For almost $30 for two coffee and three cakes to leave after one bite was waste of money And embarassing to leave as people watching us leave the table with unfinished drinks and cakes.

The other store in ryde was great but this store was so terrible.

They need to place a sign when the cakes were made as mud cake was so hard, dry and very cold.

Their cake didn't disappoint, their rendition of this classic had nothing wrong with it but however was not memorable. The sponge was light and very consistent, the cream was cream and the soaked cherries were tipsy enough to have a small kick in them. http://pattisonspatisserie.com.au/products/blackforest-cake ★★★/ 5 Would I go again? Yes

Terrible, rude staff! Cakes are a complete rip off and taste very average. Shame because this place used to be nice.

Had to clean my own table when I arrived, pastries were stale and service below average. Coffee not bad but won't be coming here again - used to be better.

Coffee was bad, and scones had been kept in the fridge too long, that after microwaved was too moist inside. Also they do not have whipped cream for scones but gave out block of butter only? Not on.
