Review Lone Star - Chatswood

I went with two friends last Tuesday the 10th of November. Good first impressions in regards of the space, but that was the only good thing. I orders a small size ribs and the sent a large to charge me and extra $8 making it $42, also I asked for sweet potato side but apparently fries was easier. The starter fries was tiny compared with the price and the cheese topping was nothing special. A jug of Lemmon lime filled 2 glasses only and tasted like the worst soft drink you could imagine, and if you think you'll be safe with plain lemonade, think again. Very disappointed and worst of all the manager was not interested at all, just wanted my Ccard

14.12.2015 - Had lunch with a friend at the Chatswood outlet. Ordered a 'not so big' T-Bone - cooked to perfection and delicious . I chose chips and salad and was quite impressed by the freshness of the salad and quality of the fries - overall good value at $25.95. Service was good and the staff both knowledgeable and friendly - drinks arrived immediately. Would definitely visit again. Fraser G

DISAPPOINTED! All you can eat ribs and wings, more like all you can eat chips. 4 small ribs a few chicken wings and a family sized serving of chips. Must finish all chips before getting a second plate. The small Amount of meat was tough and flavorless, the chicken wings were so cold that I believe they had been cooked at least and hour before being served, I mean there was no warmth in them which was confusing as we waited almost an hour for the food to be served. I recommend not going here.

I did not like this restaurant at all it was 40 degree heat and they did not have air conditioning, I ordered myself a lemonade and there was a spider in my drink still alive, there was no label on the pepper and salt therefore I poured pepper on my food instead of salt, as we were walking into the restaurant we were not seated by a waitress for a while we had just been standing there as well as it wasn't busy at the time, and lastly the waitress who brought out our drinks had spilt one of the drinks all over my bottoms. This was a very bad experience and don't recommend anyone coming here

"Lone Star - the name tells you all you need to know" Three friends and I attended this establishment looking to whet our appetites after a big day of activities. We ordered the wings with hot sauce, a double cheeseburger, two triple cheeseburgers and the Ol Dave Tribute Burger. First off, the wings. The wings were small, dwarfed by the crinkly old pieces of lettuce thrown into the basket with them. They were quite tough and not all all succulent, and generally tasted like an old shoe. Unfortunately the hot sauce on the wings was neither hot nor saucy. However, unlike the rest of the meal, at least the wings were edible. Not so for the burgers, all of which were truly awful. The meat tasted like it had come from a can, been left out for several days, put back into the freezer, and then cooked into oblivion. It's difficult to even describe the quality of the meat - it looked black, had a strange smell and texture, and was oddly chewy. Although the meat was the main gripe with the burger, it didn't end there. The buns disintegrated when you were eating the burger, probably in an attempt to escape the meat juice which was fouling the burger. There was also a serious deficiency of cheese on the burger, which was probably fortunate given that the cheese looked and tasted like spider-webbed mould which had sprouted on the burger and was producing life. Even the ketchup was terrible - it was outrageously salty and sweet. I like a sweet ketchup, but this tasted like someone had bought a gallon of tomato sauce for 99c and then thrown in half of Queensland's sugar cane crop. The only redeeming feature of the meal was the fries. They were a good size, with a good crunch and spinkled with some delightful spices. However, as soon as the meat juice from the burger dripped onto the fries, they were dead to me, and had to be discarded. I give this establishment a Lone Star.

Not bad. Nice and clean. We came at lunch time on Saturday and surprisingly quiet and we pretty much have the place all for our group. And they allow separate bill which makes the whole bill payment very convenient

All you can eat has a very fine print, you only get 4 ribs..... drinks came out after an hour, and the overall service was bad, how hard is it to get 4 drink orders right.... and to be fair it wasnt busy, dont go there unless you have to...

Average ribs and chips. Quite expensive as well. I recommend other places in district but for now it is the best ribs place in Chatswood
