Review Gloria Jean's - Chatswood

My experience here was so amazing! The man who served me was so patient and kind when taking my order and gave me recommendations on what to add to my drink. He then made me The BEST Iced Chocolate Frappe I have ever drank!! I could barely feel any ice chunks, delicious chocolate flavouring (very generous amount) topped with a large amount of whipped cream, caramel drizzle and chocolate powder to finish it off. I finished that drink in an INSTANT! It’s was amazing and so so delicious. That man was not only so nice, he also made such an amazing drink that I would definitely come back to get it again. 10/10 would come everyday just for the drink AND the amazing customer service!!!

Came here to try the typical Australian coffee. Couldn't really differentiate the difference as am not a coffee master but was glad to finally able to try out Australian coffee. Located in the central stretch of Chatswood business centre. Very crowded and busy outside the shop so was glad to be able to sit down and relax with my cup of coffee inside the cafe.

The coffee is the same quality you'd get at any other Gloria Jean's. The service isn't exceptional by any mark or means but I keep buying coffee here as they have a good location, and when it's icy cold outside a hot coffee while sitting in the sun is awesome. Otherwise they don't have much of a selection for any reasonable food, so I can't really recommend it for anything other than generic Gloria Jean's coffee.

Poor service and coffee. Went today to redeem a birthday drink. The Korean man had bad attitude once he saw I wanted to use a voucher. I asked what drinks I could get with this offer and he said "small only, cappuchino, latte, only the classic drinks". No where on the menu board does it state 'Classic' so I asked, "What's classic? Only hot drinks"? He then gave me a very annoyed look and said "cappuchino, latte, these ARE hot drinks so only hot drinks". Also, he said small only...actually the birthday drink should be regular sized (even says on GJ website) but I wasn't going to argue despite knowing it was a lie. Coffee quality...there is no coffee aroma from the beans used. Tastes like milk with a hint of bitterness. Won't be coming back.

Worst behaviour by the main male barista. When I approached to take a sugar when my coffee was ready, he stopped me and said "Don't touch, Ask me!" This is the first time I have experienced this sort of behaviour in Gloria Jeans.

Just dropped in for a croissant and coffee for breakfast as I live and work close by. Over $10 for a ham and cheese croissant and a medium black coffee, and then the shop assistant says ‘there is a 1% surcharge if you tap your credit card’. Seriously, it’s never been good coffee, or good anything else, and they change a surcharge for paying by credit card? I will NEVER go back.

I ordered a scone and it was quite large, cooked to perfection and came with complimentary jam and cream. Whilst the scone had ALOT of whipped cream it could have used a smidge more jam. I also ordered a iced chocolate and that was done really well. It was done how all iced chocolates used to be made(cocoa, milk, ice and it was blended!) this is instead of the iced choccies That are now taking over being basically chocolate milk with ice. The iced chocolate had the choice of whipped cream(and they gave you heaps) and then you could self serve the caramel, honey etc. the sizes were quite large but for 7.95 it’s what I’d expect. They bring it to the table and I find service not so bad. The ambience seemed a tiny bit dated but still good. It was nice and clean and service was VERY FAST. I prefer to use Gloria jeans for take away but sitting in isn’t a bad experience at all.... especially on a cold day. Will def be back.

The service here is a joke. The manager is so rude and unfriendly. No greeting what so ever when you walk into store. Not a very clean place either.

Usually I don’t go for hot drink from this franchise, I go for chiller, and my favorite drink from Gloria jeans is a voltage!<br/>Well since my friend is buying I don’t mind to have a hint drink, and Long Black is what I have.<br/>Nothing special to be honest, coffee beans is not the best I taste but I don’t mind it either.<br/>

Haven't stopped here in few years despite walking pass it all the time. Coffee is not the best around in Chatswood, not that it's bad either. The place & furnishings are getting a bit dated. Had so many random coffee catch up's here over the years, it feels more familiar & nice to reminisce old times once in a while.

Terrible service, rude staff and awful non GJs coffee. I love my GJs but this has to be the worst coffee and service ever! Coffee is super weak so they are defintely skimping on the correct coffee shots. It is also the only GJs store to charge you for using your savings card! Wont ever waste my money their again!!

Disgusting place. Rude staff and charging extra over any value for using card. Such a big brand and having such pity policies. Coffee is bang average also. Would not recommend.
