The fried squid is nothing like the sample they display. One time I ordered it came out way too fast to be cooked to order.
It ended up being soggy, tasting nothing like something that was freshly deep-fried.
Really low quality product, I was very disappointed

Dry, over-fried chicken that was tough to eat. The rice was soft and the beans were nice. Shame about the chicken. I wish I went elsewhere as there were better options in Hawkers Lane.

The traditional minced rice was dry with very little mince on top of it. Nothing authentic about it. The side vege was cold, the fried chicken was overlooked with too much salt. Very badly done overall. Nothing like real Taiwanese food they are trying to claim

The squid is no where like the advertised/shown/displayed squid.
It is just the normal calamari rings in a box like everywhere else.
A big let down as they show you an entire deep fried/battered squid
as the poster boy flag of the brand!
Sweet potato fried were actually quite good.

False advisement, bought the Giant squid thinking it would be the same as the chicken shown on the display but it was cut into small pieces and put in a box. I believe it was only half of the whole squid as i can't hardly find any body pieces of the squid, only the tentacles. The Ninja chicken was a let down as well, half of the chicken had bones on it. Not worth waiting on line for at all.

Very disappointing. My daughter ordered the giant squid as pictured in pride of place out the front, and she got a container of shrivelled up tentacles. A gross example of false advertising. Steer clear of cheese cut's puny squid.

Food is pretty average. Not really worth for the money you pay. Small portions compared to what they showcase. Probably the last time here at Chatswood.

Have been coming here several times and my favourite dish is the extra large crispy chicken. During my last visit though, I tried the crispy chicken bento meal. It was good but I definitely prefer the extra large fried chicken by itself as it’s more satisfying. Order was ready quickly.

Such poor service. Was waiting at the counter for 5 minutes and was completely ignored after asking if I could order. When I finally got to order, there was no squid, no chicken nuggets, no 12oz chicken and no chips. Only vegetables, rice and 8oz chicken. It is 2:30pm on Thursday when there is late night shopping. No food when there is still 7 hours of service left? Unacceptable!! Got 8oz chicken and was full of bones!! Very small piece of chicken and half was inedible because too many bones. I asked if they could cut it up and they said yes but when given in a bag uncut, I asked to be cut and they said they can not cut the chicken. Such poor service. Tasty food, if you can eat it but not worth $9 when filled with bones, poor service and no variety.
The Next Rush
Wasn’t in the mood for a full blown meal but street style snacks and as usual, after misreading the menu didn’t realize this was a massive rice bowl… This is why when I go out , I always leave the ordering to who ever I'm with and figure out what’s on my plate after. In saying that I wasn’t disappointed because the BRAISED PORK BELLY was so soft to the touch, your chopstick just glides right through it. That’ll set you back $7.50. The 3 piece Wing pack is just $3.90 - for me, a bit too salty, but was okay when having it with the left over rice from the pork dish. Their speciality here is actually seafood, so I couldn’t be further from what they do best. Nice value lunch option in ‘The District’ dining complex.

Needed a small afternoon snack, but really didn't want anything sweet, so stopped here. The fried chicken & squid are way too big for snacks. Got some sautéed calamari. It was very tasty, good texture, coated in a thick sweet soy sauce. Serving size wise was very small for $8.50. Not good value to order on it's own.

Located in Hawker Lane chatswood, it's essentially a food court which is decorated like a bustling laneway in Asia. I got a bento box which wasn't spectacular and the chicken wasn't very juicy.

Nuthin much to say here except try their small/large chick n squid. Leave it to you guys to decide which of the numerous taiwanese fried chicken outlets in sydney is da best.

DO: The Fried Chicken.

DON'T: Order first. Make sure you get a table and seat first.

TIP: They're enormous, best you order one between two. Recommend the squid as well.
