Staff friendly. Coffe is ok. And Oreo cheese cake is really excellent. I love it!!! I gave 4 star cuz they accept cash only. 😅

Cakes are very sweet. Kids love it. Coffee ok.

EDIT: I recently went back on a Friday night, service was a huge improvement. Coffee was absolutely perfect and had a beautiful latte art. It's good to see the staff back on track, prompt, courteous, and enthusiastic! _____OLD REVIEW___ Lack of customer service! 3 tables after me were served coffee before mine. I kindly reminded the staff and they just continued to clean and clear plates. Do they not understand that they should be prioritising my coffee? Just had to walk out. You need proper floor staff and managers.

mmmm.... chocolate.... I had the Chocolate fondue and an ice mocha.. delicious..

Turned up at 7:50 after their 7:30 opening time to a closed door and was turned away until after 8am. Was given one menu (not a full menu) and had to go to the counter to get their other menu. If you have a rude personality (like the waiters) don't work in customer service. Raisin toast was a bit cold, waffles and hot chocolate was good. (when it finally arrived) Waiter kept sneezing and coughing all over the cash register (hygienic). Staff were giggling and swearing behind the counter.

Very rude. Bad customer service. No cups for water and when asked for some they ignored us and ignored a lovely pregnant lady asking the same. Took plastic ones we got off us. No matter how much I love chocolate I would never come back. Staff frantic and they weren't even busy. Behind the counter also looked disgusting. Oliver Brown has gone down hill. Max Brenner here I come.

Unpleasant customer service. I was there with a friend on Sunday evening for a hot chocolate. There were three young staff (one looked like a manager). I was asking for HC with almond milk and one of them were saying they don't have the milk, then he found one in the fridge and said, this is actually for "some other customers". I don't know what that means... I was confused and the other staff came along and found another almond milk and said "this is almond milk". I wasn't sure what this fuss was about. But it's not a big deal, it's just that the vibe was really cold and staff never smiled nor they said "thank you" once, one of them (maybe the manager?) had somewhat intimating look. not a big deal but not a pleasant experience.

I ordered a cookie&cream. It tooks long time and they gave me something wrong one. It tastes nuts and colour also wasn’t cookie&cream. I wasn’t sure because I ate some chocolate cookies so I asked my friends. After then it was of course not cookie&cream. I asked staff, who he looks owner. He said me ‘It’s cookie&cream’ but I felt it’s not. He asked me am I exactly this isn't cookie&cream. And I asked him could you taste it? But he said ‘No’ and ‘Have you try cookie&cream?’. Very rude.... I got really upset. And he made me cookie&cream again. Definitely 2drinks were different. But he didn’t any mention about sorry. Never again Chatswood this Oliverbrown😡

Oliver Brown is a name that’s well known across Sydney for all things chocolate. It’s a good thing to be known for too! Apart from being a go to place for nice hot chocolate they do a broad range of desserts - which was the reason we dropped by. It’s a big place stretching back a fair way from the mall. The counter with goodies also covers the full length down one side, with tables taking up the other side.

The desserts here are truly delish!! The waffle is just so great that you can taste every flavor of the chocolate that it is pour with! I love it! Yumyumyum! I will surely come back for more! <br/><br/>Regarding the coffee, well what I had is the green tea latte. And I think when I come back I better try their hot choco drinks to give a fair review because this drink is their specialty and not the one that I had. 😅

We saw the sign for decadent scrolls in shop window - did not disappoint (see photos). Coffee was good and helped to cut the sweetness of the cookies and cream scroll. Waitstaff were friendly and efficient. Scrolls presented with chocolate design in corner of plate.

Amazing desserts. Not the cheapest, but friendly staff and unbelievably great waffles and awesome hot chocolate. Highly recommended as the food is of a high standard.

Used to go to Oliver Brown regularly for coffee but recently I have noticed that the staff have become slow, constantly talking to each other, the waffles are the same ones you can buy from a supermarket and the churros are often burnt. The coffee is still good but only when the store is quiet and only by a few baristas . If the store is busy the coffee certainly lacks in quality. All the cold drinks as well seem to have dropped in quality. I will not bother with this oliver brown at all anymore and will potentially try some of the other ones in my area for my hot chocolate fixes! Would also like to add there is always a group of young people outside morning or night yelling, smoking, eating outside food and swearing. Terrible atmosphere.

Quite suprise not a busy cafe. Very bad service. Staffs laze. Menu vety dirty and sticky. Having a Belgium mocha, not impressed. Waffle taste like the one you can get from coles. Not recommended, the value is not worth with the quality of the food.

The coffee and waffles are good. Great place for someone with a sweet tooth. I like the variety on their menu. But the staff is very nonchalant. They need to buck up there.

The waffles are pretty good, I recommend just getting the cheapest Belgian waffles with ice cream as the other variations just add like toppings e.g. fruit but the price jumps dramatically. Also ordered the churros and whilst it was plated so prettily, it was mostly burnt and didn't taste very pleasant.
