Review Ben & Jerry's - Chatswood

Very disappointed with the flavours choice. There were no dairy free options, so had to leave the shop empty handed. I wish they could introduce some dairy free flavors that are not fruit sorbets.

Ben & Jerry’s is always my favourite in ice cream. Btw, this cone costed me over $7, so a bit overpriced. I used to enjoy cookies and cream a lot, but because it was too hot, I just want something sour, refreshing and not too sweat. And the strawberry cheesecake just satisfied all my needs! And I feel like I don’t have to upgrade the cone into chocolate waffle cone. Coz when it’s too hot, I just need something cold, but the cone is just at room temperature, and is too sweat. Well, the chocolate cone doesn’t add any good to the ice cream.

Stuck at a pinch, @ the last minute I remembered it was my daughter's 13th birthday... I went into Ben & Jerry's Chatswood expecting the worst (48 hour pre-order times etc.) But then, Elena happened! When I explained the mud i was stuck In, elena simply said "no worries mate" and whipped out a cake tin, scooping a bit of every flavour I wanted in the display into the tin, lifted it off and voila! a beautiful ice cream cake. She was nice enough to decorate it with waffle cones and gave me a balloon to boot. 10/10

I had a last minute cake I ordered a while back (pre-lockdown haha ;) It was a cake for my brothers girlfriends cousins dogs brother's owner. The wonderful Elena helped me place my order, told me she would help get that organise lickity split and boy was she right!!! I had a beautiful cake within hours and boy did the party love it! Would go back to Elena every single time!

This is the most amazing ice cream place I have ever been. The staff here are fantastic, they are all so kind and caring. I changed my mind so many times but they didn't care. There was a blond girl named Sophie working when I came in and she helped me so much in my heart-wrenching decision to choose an ice cream flavour. She is one of the nicest customer service workers that I have ever met. I have never been to a Ben and Jerry's before and after my experience with Sophie I will most definitely come back.

I have been coming here regularly for the past 3 years now and to this day i can comfortably say this is the best ice cream i have ever eaten. Sundae’s are out of this world and the location is pretty good too! I loved this place so much i name my turtles after it! Haha

It was the best ice cream that I have ever had. All the staff were amazing, they didn't complain when I changed my mind. The blonde girl I think her name was Sophie, she was one of the kindest girls to ever serve me, I will definitely be going back there.

Brownie special with the choice of 2 icecream flavour ($9.80), i chose the to tonight flavour with cookie dough and chocolate/peanut butter flavour and the totally baked with fudge brownies incorporated into a vanilla/chocolate mix. <br/>This is definitely shareable!

With a voucher from groupon we bought 3 scoops for $5! Amazing deal! The berry sorbet is very refreshing! Almond coconut is exotic and delightful. But I regret getting the mocha as it did not mix well with the coconut... Xihuahua 🐶 ditched din din for this. 😜

Ice cream you scream we all scream for BEN & JERRYS!!! I seriously love this place :( I’m only sad at the fact I don’t live next door. So many flavours and so many choices, it’s seriously hard not to get them all.. literally. But my all time favourite is the chocolate fudge brownie XD

We nearly always drop by Ben & Jerry's when we are in Chatswood. I enjoy ice cream but I don't really crave for ice cream ... except if it's Ben & Jerry's (and sometimes Messina)! I think the flavours distinguish them from others. Anything with cookie dough or chocolate fudge brownie has my vote. Loads of options here; always takes me a while to decide. There is limited seating at this outlet and I wish there were more seats. All I want to do when I get ice cream is sit down and eat it straight away!

Strawberry Cheese Cake!<br/>I would say it is very nice, one of the best flavour!<br/>There is chunks of strawberries folded into ice cream<br/>mixture.<br/>Coffee flavour is delicate, a little bitter yet satisfying!<br/>

Huge range of ice cream selections to choose from. Lots of exotic and unusual ideas. <br/><br/>A bit too sweet for me (full disclosure, I'm not a 'sweets' person, so it's probably not the fairest review for an ice cream shop).<br/><br/>The cones are pretty solid, and result in minimal mess.<br/><br/>Can be quite expensive for what you get.<br/><br/>They often have giveaways, which can lead to lines snaking down the street.

Convenient dessert stop after all the frenzy foodie experience in Chatswood!!! Ben & Jerry's never fails to disappoint with their much-loved ice cream. Although this time we tried their shakes, they weren't as adored as their ice creams. Service was good though, considering that there were a handful of customers. Will absolutely pass by again for my dessert dreams.

Never really been a huge fan of Ben & Jerry's, found there flavours tend to be heavy & sweet, but really felt like something sweet this time. Seems like everything has either chocolate, caramel, cookie, brownie or peanut butter in it. There was only 1 fruity berry offer. But then the Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Dough got my attention, I was sold at the mention of the name. I turn out to have all of the sweet stuff I listed before in it. It was good (how can it not be really!).

Hard to miss this ice cream joint! Very conveniently located along the other shops in victoria avenue in chatswood, and as a dessert lover, it's also the same reason its harder not to go in. Been here a few times and i loved ordering the salted caramel. Their ice cream is quite thick and heavy, which i dont mind. It easily melts so better eat it quick, bought during winter and still couldnt keep up with it melting too quickly. Theres a few chairs to sit on too if you opt to enjoy it in-store.

Ice cream is always a good idea, especially after dinners! Convenient location with some interesting creations of ice-cream. However, tastes rather similar in quality to some other ice-cream outlets (such as New Zealand Natural) but for a higher price.

Had the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 dough ice cream 🍦 on a waffle cone . It was delicious . Service is great. Conveniently located in chatswood . You can exit the Westfield and it's right opposite it . They have outdoor seating too , you can enjoy your ice cream and watch the world go by ! Bliss 😊

Popular ice cream parlour with a range of exciting flavours. The coconut and butterscotch was a surprising and delightful flavour pairing and perfectly complemented coffee.

Came here year or so back for dessert. Don't remember the name of the flavour i ordered but it was really chocolatey. <br/>The girl serving us that night may have had a bit of a disagreement with her boss as she didn't look too happy. She told us she was going to quit her job. She charged us for 2 scoops of ice-cream but gave us 4 scoops, stating she didn't care what her boss thought. (no complaints on our end because you cannot ever have too much ice-cream, especially when it's free ice-cream). <br/>Haven't been back since as Chatswood is quite far from where we live. Hoping a Ben and Jerry's will open up in Liverpool someday.

Not bad but a bit expensive for ice cream. Staff are generally hospitable but can be a bit inattentive and don't know how to work with ice cream properly, with ice cream melting almost as soon as it was scooped.<br/><br/>Compared with other store, we can't really comment; however, compared with how it is in the US, Ben and Jerry's as a phenomenon is surprising as it doesn't quite measure up in price, quality or service but is nevertheless popular.<br/><br/>We would patronise this place again but we'd rather just buy ice cream and serve it at home, even after eating out.

Really not impressed with the ice cream here and this is the conclusion from about 4 seperate visits. The cookie dough ice cream is one dimensional seperated by various levels of sweetness rather than flavour. The lumps of hard dough was offputting as they were too large and could be excused if they actually provided any resemblemce to cookie flavour. The strawberry cheesecake ice cream would have been nice if it was just called strawberry ice cream as I struggled to find the cheesecake resemblance.<br/><br/>Tonight - the Brownie Special Sundae came with two choices of ice cream. Chose the Vanilla and Peanut Butter Pretzel Batter. The brownie was cold and hard with stale cake texture and no moistness. There was too much cream followed by a rich caramel sauce. The peanut butter ice cream was rich in peanut butter flavour and was one of the better ice creams sampled here. The sweetness of the entire sundae was overwhelming and drowned out the vanilla ice cream. <br/><br/>Had really wanted to think Ben and Jerrys was something special but have been let down everytime. Would love to be a franchise owner however as people seem to think otherwise and this store makes some serious money. But as a customer, I think I will stick to Geletaria Gondola which is worlds apart.

Been here a few times and love their Peanut Butter Pretzel Batter. Today is Free Cone day - lines are long but there is a quick turnover. Tried the new Tonight Dough, which had balls of cookie dough. Problem is that the icecream was served half-melted (probably as the icecream freezer doors were left open so staff could easily serve customers) and was dripping all over my hand - the price of free icecream.

I like this place, when I went there, the lady who served us was so cheerful and nice, it actually radiated from her. The ice cream was great (as always). I love the Choc Fudge brownie the best, highly recommend it! Definitely a place to visit and ice cream to try (If you haven't already).

Tried the strawberry cheesecake for the first time yesterday and it was sooo good. Definitely worth getting again! Chocolate fudge brownie was a bit rich for my liking, but chocolate lovers would thoroughly enjoy. Ben & Jerry's is a pretty fail safe option, as the flavours satisfy most of the time. And they trade til kinda late so great for an after dinner treat.

Hard to rate this when you only had a large mint cookie shake for $8.50,while I grumbled over the price it was heavy in weight and it was a little better than expected. In general I find this place expensive but I do like there cones with extra bits in them like hundreds of thousands and so on

The Ben & Jerry's chain of ice cream and dessert shops is well known across Sydney.<br/><br/>They offer rich, indulgent treats packed with chunks of all sorts of things - think chocolate, caramel, toffee, fudge, cookie dough etc etc etc.<br/><br/>They're generally in high traffic areas where plenty of people drift past after eating dinner elsewhere.<br/><br/>Think Manly, Bondi Beach, Ultimo, Penrith, Blacktown and of course here at Chatswood where we happened to be strolling by after eating a tasty dinner nearby.

Wonderful service and being able to try a few before you wet the pallet is a fantastic value add. I feel as though Ben and Jerry's across all their franchises at times can sacrifice creaminess and flavour exploration for sugar overload - still delicious though !

Belguim Waffle Sundae... You can choose two scoops of any ice cream flavour - we chose Chocolate Therapy and Cookie Dough and boy were they divine. Atop the ice cream, there was a generous dollop of whipped cream and of course sprinkles.

...I had the boysenberry one and that didn’t disappoint! less calories than the nutty chocolatey ones but also quite a refreshing taste. I wished they had whole berries in it too.

If you prefer your icecream creamy & sweet (like me), then I suggest you go for Ben & Jerry's. Haagen Dazs tends to be a bit light on in terms of flavour and lacks the same volume of chunky chocolate bits & pieces that Ben & Jerry offers.<br/>

Service was okay but the mango sorbet tasted like plastic. It had a very artificial taste which was absolutely repulsive.
