Review Nahm Jimm - Chatswood

Had the chicken mince with chilli basil. Taste was pretty good but portion size vs cost could be improved. Food also took a while to come out as I think there was only one person working. If portion size was larger and food came out quicker, it might get a 5.

Taste was good but they did not wash the pan when the cooked different foods. Ordered Vegetable Pad Thai but there were lots of chicken pieces from previous order.

Ordered Som Tum and they offered spicy or mild and I went for spicy. It's lovely sharp and limey but they were not kidding about the spicy and sitting here with tears running down my face 😜. And I am used to 🌶.... Thankfully I got some steamed rice as well. That plus a Coke Zero was $21. Service was reasonably quick.

Pad thai was sweet and tasted like it was tossed in tomato sauce. Wrong noodles used. Worse pad thai I've ever had. Nice staff though.

I love their food! Its always tasty, fresh and packed heaps of meat and vegetables. Its always quick and very friendly service from not only the lovely girl at the counter but their chef too which makes such a difference. Thanks for the delicious lunches and the great service!

Conveniently located in the Asian food court (called Hawkers Street) in the lower level of Westfield in an area that is reminiscent of the outdoor eating places commonly found in SE Asia. The Nahm Jimm is a Thai fast food outlet and has a predominant position in the food court. (Pictures of the place and menu included). It's always great to see the food being prepared in front of you and they have a typical Thai menu. You receive an electronic tag after payment which beeps and vibrates when your order is ready to collect. The Pad Thai was tasty but it was more like soggy noodles in a sauce and lacking the crispy crunch texture typical of this dish. It took about 10 minutes to make but the kitchen was not busy at the time. Cost was $13 plus 13c surcharge. Overall not worth the high cost. The cost of the food is on the high side, but then most of the places here are similarly priced. Card payment is available but incurs a 1% surcharge. As most of the reviews here state, the cashier was far from friendly or helpful. She was more interested in her mobile and the virtual world than what was going on around and in real life.

Don't know what the -ve reviews are all about. Went there for laksa and being vegetarian, it's hard to find good quality with no seafood sauces. Lets just say found my new favourite place for superb Laksa, it was extremely tasty. Also recently got hokkien noodles home delivered and the flavour was top notch. Highly recommend this place.

Wish I read the reviews before eating at this place! Everyone is saying don't eat here and I agree. My beef pad see ew tasted mostly of fish sauce & salt. Inedible so tried to wash it down with a drink. The drink didn't help. Waste of money.

I've been here a few times, the food is pretty decent if you are eating in hawker lane and want something quick. Really large servings. Sometimes the chicken is dry & flavour less and the sauce is too greasy.<br/><br/>Card minimum which is annoying.<br/><br/>

Not bad Thai food for a food court! Fresh and tasty, but just a little pricey for a food court, more like restaurant prices. Lots of competition around but the only Thai in the hawkers.

Had pad thai and beef with oyster sauce, both were hot and tasty and fresh. Great for a quick lunch or for a takeout. Would go back and try more dishes.

Located in the hawker lane in Westfield, this place is a little hard to find. They serve good Thai food with many options for the vegetarians which is amazing. The food is good and the service is pretty quick too. Quantity of the food is sufficient and satisfying too. Good place to be in for quick food.

I had a good Pad Thai today that was made with glass noodles and prawns. It was superb! My partner had a Massaman Curry. The meat was tender and so flavoursome.

So many choices at Hawker Lane, I settled for Nahm Jimm because I felt like eatin Pad Thai. I order the chicken one. Pretty average, tastes ok but the noodle were a bit more 'chewy' that other pad thais?! The serving size was quite generous which was a positive. Won't be running back to revisit.

I don’t think you can go terribly wrong with pad see ew, and Nahm Jimm’s version was okay, pretty standard. Decent amount of meat and noodles but not to the point where you’re stuffed like some Thai places. It did get too salty towards the end though. Just one of the Hawker Lane spots that I always walk pass but dismiss due to the plethora of tasty Thai restaurants in the area. We ended up here coz the Vietnamese place was closing (why when everywhere else was open??) and didn’t want to pay the ridiculous price tag of almost $20 per dish at Mao Cai.

ผัดไทย อร่อย Early lunch and had my favourite dish Pad Thai. Hit the spot. They also do Pad Thai wrapped in a egg omelette if you are really hungry. Friendly service.

From a distance a cute well designed little food court cart selling Thai food. We ordered the chef special fried rice with pork and it was delicious, vibrant colour veggies with chunks of tender pork. Not too spicy which is easy on the palette for the non-chilli lovers! <br/><br/>The negatives - unfortunately we only ordered one dish out of the intended two due to the tedious customer service. It is just not good business to have an ordered taker who does not speak English in an English speaking country. To make matters worse they have blaring loud music which makes ordering even more impossible! The poor counter girl was drenched in sweat dripping down her entire face, either from stress or heat from the wok? Looked like she just walked out of a sauna. She needs a new job!

This little place is great. Thai spicy and tasty food. <br/>The portion is generous. The service is fast and friendly.<br/>Although the menu is not extensive but if they have the ingredients, they will custom-make whatever you like.<br/>I had Pad Gaprow which is my most favourite dish and it was better than I anticipated.<br/>They also have home-made Thai desserts which varies everyday.<br/><br/>A great place to visit. I've just got to know that they open late every night after the shopping centre closes. Good for me to pick up some food on the way home after work.

The smells coming out of Nahm Jimm filled the whole of Hawker Lane, and I must say that the food was hot and fast, even though it took them a while to get through the queue. We tried the usual suspects, and the Pad Thai had had a good balance of salty, sour, hot and spicy, and wasn’t swimming in a tomato-red oil like you often see. Great option, especially in a food court setting.

I really like thai food but for some reason this place just doesn't seem right, you get a generous portion but the taste isnt that great<br/><br/>The pad kee mao is spicy but not as good as holy basil, the pad thai wrapped in egg resulted in a smaller portion and also did not taste great
