Review Chimack - Chatswood

Little neighbourhood gem. Large serving size, reasonably priced and great flavours. Service was quite fast but it was late at night when we went. Open late. Would definitely go back. Good find

Great batter. Crispy and not oily. Crunchy and juicy tender meat. The meat itself (chicken) was tender and juicy but could probably be a bit more fresh. Overall, good technical skills, just need to up the quality of their produce.

Very disppointed. Tastes not too bad, 1 star for the quality of service. Service very slow, there was only 1 staff doing cashier, preparing takeaways and serving tables at the same time. The take-away box was made of soft cardboard box instead of hard ones, was easily soaked, and sauce all came out from the bottom. I ate sweet & spicy chicken without any sweet&spicy sauce.

My favourite Korean late night kitchen in Chatswood. Staff are friendly, free appetisers, authentic foods. My recommendation would be the cold noodles with original chicken boneless and tap beers for summer. Hot pot for winter after big gym session is essential!

I'm giving it 5 stars becuse I absolutely enjoyed everything. From the service to the food, they were all spot on. The pork bone soup is good but I had tasted a better one before. The flavours of the fried chickens are a must try. they have snow cheese, honey soy, butter and a lot more. You can also ask refill of the side dishes. The place isn't big so make sure you come o early or make a reservation. I am not sure how packed it is on weekends but early ib the week, there are plenth of seats. They have really good selection of side dishes and I will definitely try barbeque next time. It's an easy walk from the station and the place has an open space feel which is really relaxing.

Best Korean Fried Chicken in Chatswood, especially the soy garlic and snow cheese chicken. The service is great. I'll come back

Pretty average taste. Cheap and customised menu for 1 or 2 people unlike few other Korean in the area

A good place to go for dinner. The restaurant opens until late, the food is delicious and the staff is friendly

Tiny portions, especially the rice! And it’s burned - yet arrived cold??? Chicken portion is no where near a full chicken! Tasted awful - go to PBS CHICKEN!

Lovely Korean diner off the main through fare. Went in as I wanted a warm comfy meal at the last week of winter!
Top notch = Fried chicken, pork bone soup.
Not too bad = Bulgogi soup
Average = seafood pancake (not very crispy, felt could be left on the pan for awhile longer)

Still, attentive staff and filled with plenty of customers early on the weekend. Def not on my naughty list.

Compare with other Korean restaurant in Chatswood, the Bulgogi with rice was terrible. People who don’t know what’s Korean food, I feel sorry spend their money for that kind of food. They should’ve get rid of the Bulgogi from the menu if they cook like today i’ve experienced. No seasoning for the soup, poorly not enough amount of Bulgogi in the pot, no other veggies, just one spoon amount of starch noodle. Everything’s not like the photo of menu.

Honey butter chicken was good. Was a little underwhelmed by the snow cheese seemed quite similar to the honey butter flavoring. The spicy tofu soup was ok. Wasn’t the best I have tasted. Nothing to shout about.
Love the honey butter fried chicken! Such a good balance of flavours, with a subtle nutty taste to it.
Also tried the hot and spicy chicken with cheese, a little disappointing with the flavours - seems like chicken hasn’t been marinated enough, although there was a lot of chilli sauce. Also would have preferred the dish to be hotter (temperature-wise) as once it lost its heat the dish became more bland.

Tried all their chickens as I am a regular. Seems all great. Especially sweet and spicy chicken and pork bone soup are my favorites. They're JUST awesome!! Great place to share the dish with friend when you hang around at Chatswood.

Ordered fried chicken take away, seems a bit more portion than other korean shops. Didn't see much other food good to try, but food was quick.
