We had ‘brunch’ today at 11.30. Loved the space. Colorful and friendly. We ordered vegetarian breakfast, scallops, empanadas and fillet steak to share. The fillet steak steak was the best, followed by the scallops. The beginning breakfast complimented the rest of the food and the poached eggs were perfect. Had a glass of wine too - Santa Ana Malbec... lovely! The only thing that I thought could be improved was the presentation - however, we didn’t eat the presentation!! Overall, amazing..... thanks. We will we be back to eat more fillet steak, thank you 👍🏻😊
Always great service and the atmosphere is very friendly. The food is fabulous... while the entrees are smallish, the mains, especially the bbq, are huge. Love the pork :)
In my opinion, they serve some of the most authentic Peruvian cuisine in Melbourne.

Came here for the first time tonight and we enjoyed everything about this dining experience. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Had the empanadas for entree and the special Chicharron de calamari salsa tartara y yucca which was melt in the mouth. My husband had the Seafood paella which he thoroughly enjoyed. Love this place and we'll definitely be back. Just waiting for the share dessert plate to arrive for which I have very high hopes.
Sublime! Everything was excellent! The cebiche, the best I had in a looooong time! Loved it! Came out of the place with a big smile in my face!
We came back from Peru a couple of months ago, really liked Peruvian food! Got a bit nostalgic so decided to check this one out....Ordered cebiche (raw white fish cured with lime juice, onion and spices) as an appetizer, then lomo saltado for myself and seafood paella for my wife. Drinks - Inca Cola (fantastic stuff!)...also a Tres Leches dessert. Service was very friendly and prompt, food arrived fast. Taste and fllavours were authentically Peruvian - just as good as in the Peru Gourmet cafe, Lima! Ambiance and interior - excellent. Prices - reasonable.
Overall - STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
I've never tried Peruvian food before but was very keen to. Inti did not disappoint!
We ordered the seco de carne and pescado y verduras a la parrilla, with lemon tea and the Peruvian cocktail with passionfruit and coconut juice for drinks.
The beef was tender and succulent, and the coriander sauce was savoury, balanced and not overpowering. However, it was the steamed cassava that impressed me the most - so tasty! And it pairs wonderfully with beef. The fish dish was wholesome and fresh, but really needed a sauce or something to tie it together.
Service was great, really friendly staff. Interior a bit garish but not really an issue for us.
If you're in the area, try it out!
I grew up in Chelsea for 20 years and there was never anywhere decent to eat with such a decent strip of shops. I came back here a few weeks back to visit family and dinner here was superb. I've spent time in Peru and I love this cuisine. Ceviche, Stew, Pork belly, Cassava chips and Empanadas all on point. Fresh, high quality and satisfying. A wonderful addition to the old hood.
Sensational Peruvian Food!!! We loved it!!!! We drove for an hour to get to this place and when we got there was about to close however, we could enjoy our meal.
We had Ceviche de Pescado, Papas a la Huancaina 😋 with some cervezas Cusqueñas. Then Lomo Saltado and Arroz Marinero yummmmm!!! Delishhh!!!👌 To finish with a beautiful Dulce de 3 Leches!
I would recommend this place better than any other fancy "ceviche" made by random ppl.
From the minute you walk in you can feel the South American vibe served by authentic friendly wait staff and the food with authentic ingredients.

Nice, unique experience here on Friday night. My stew had an absolutely fantastic flavour and the beef was nicely slow cooked. Entrees were slightly more mixed, the scallops with grilled parmesan were very tasty but the tamal was a little bland and I think could have used another ingredient. Pleasant service (although the place was rather quiet) made for an enjoyable night, and I'll definitely be back to try the paella and barbeque.
We stopped for brunch at this place having passed by many times thinking that we should try it out. It was terrific. Using my discerning barometer of a good quality egg and bacon toastie, I'd have to say it is certainly one of the best around: light in texture, quality bread, good cut of bacon and not at all stringy, with a good egg/bacon ratio. Most places stuff up this simple and most exquisite of dishes. Not this place. The coffee was excellent too and I love the way one gets a bottle of water as soon as one sits down. We'll be back here to sample the dinner fare. A great Chelsea find.

Can't believe it's taken me this long to discover this amazing restaurant. The food was just beautiful - great flavours and lovely presentation. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Will be going back so I can work my way through the menu!

I'm no foodie and know very little about traditional Peruvian fare, but I do know that Inti Gourmet is a true gem of a restaurant. My friends and I have been regular diners for the past 2 years and have always been impressed with the food and service. The friendly staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome, the lovely Vanessa takes particular care to make time to chat with all the customers. For entree, you can't go past the Anticucho De Pescado (swordfish skewers) or the Anticucho De Lomo Fino (eye fillet skewers), amazing flavours and always cooked to perfection. For mains, a group favorite is the Lomo A La Plancha Con Fettuccine (eye fillet with fettuccine) - these guys do fettuccine better than any Italian restaurant and the Huancaina sauce is always a hit. We often replace the eye fillet with swordfish for this dish, Inti have no problem if you wish to customise your meal. Another main that you must try is the Carapulcra Con Chancho (pork stew) - sounds very simple but is one of the best flavoured dishes I've ever had. Everything we've tried - the items listed above, pork belly, slow cooked pork and/or chicken, empanadas for entree and more, have always been winners. If you're looking for a change from the standard Bistro, Thai or Chinese in the Bayside area, give Inti a try, you won't be disappointed.

Inti Gourmet is what I'll always be referring to as: Peruvian food PARADISE!
We arrived here on Sunday for dinner, nervous and with somewhat - low expectations (As we've had our hearts broken before at other restaurants with peruvian food attempts).
As a family of hardcore foodies - we've travelled all around Melbourne to find authentic peruvian food (none of this fancy version or tapas interpretation) and although many have failed to take us back to those gorgeous flavours, Inti has hit the nail on the head.
We ordered the Lomo saltdo, the fish, anticuchos, yuca fritas, causa de pollo, turrón, alfajores, and of course Pisco sour.
Presentation was simple, but the flavours were explosive. Meats were juicy, marinated to perfection and generous!
Ambience was homely, and staff were beyond lovely. Rating 4.5 and not a perfect 5 only because they ran out of ceviche.
We'll definitely be coming back - and in a very big hurry!
If you want to try an authentic taste of Peru, this is the place in Melbourne. We drove an hour to reach "Inti" and l have to say it's in my top 5 restaurants of all time. Entree was a "Papa a la Huancaina " chancho al cilindro and for a dish that is so simple I couldn't believe the flavours I was tasting. I'm from Chile and we are renowned for our empanadas, that was until I tried the "cheese and ham empanada" and l have to say it puts ours to shame...... And finally the main course was ""Chancho al cilindro" pork smoked and slow cooked for 5 hours, one word pure blisssss!!!!....... Best deserts "Suspiro a la limena" but a little rich after the 3rd spoon, I would lean towards "Torta tres leches“ happy eating :)
Long saltado!!!! All the way!!!! I came here after craving Peruvian food. I had a lot of Lomo Saltado while in Peru and this was just as authentic! The people I was with tried a Pisco Sour which is a corn fermented drink that knocks your socks off!
I was driving otherwise I would have had a few!

Have driven past Inti a few times since moving to the area. Decided tonight was the night to experience what Peruvian food is all about. Well I can assure you I was not disappointed. The owners (very polite woman) can not do enough for you. They explain the history behind the food and the culture of Peru. The menu is not over bearing. The choices are ample. The food is exceptional. The flavors leave you wanting for more. The traditional deserts made in house will cap of what can only be seen as a very enjoyable time.
Very authentic an unpretentious. But best of all... Very well executed. The girls have done Peruvian food justice!
Something different. Try this place. A little bit different from the usual offering.

Delicious food. We have just been with a party of friends. We are all so impressed with the dishes and the friendly staff. We are already planning returning to try more of their menu. We are also very pleased to see that so many of their dishes are gluten-free. We found the service to be excellent.

Peruvian cuisine at its best!. So thrilled with the Peruvian restaurants Melbourne is offering right now. As a child I enjoyed the cuisine having a Peruvian mother and residing in Lima Peru. I'm so pleased to be able to go locally for it now. I have dined at Pastuso which is a modern take on the peruvian food, great food but not authentic. I have also dined at Mi Peru d'Carmen lovely as well. But Inca Gourmet is my favourite!! Hands down. The dishes are so flavoursome and rich. You find yourselve eating very quickly because it tastes so good. I enjoyed the pork belly, chicharon. Meat tender and juicy with a crispy skin. I believe they slow cook in a cyclinder for a few hours. A must you need to try it! Do yourself a favour and try the Anticuchos, diced beef heart marinted and grilled. The meat is so succulent and tasty. And then there is the ceviche. Raw fish dish curated in lime juice its an appetizer so light and fresh but delicious.
So proud that Australians have the opportunity to experience Peruvian cuisine and the culture. And Inca Gourmet represents so well!! Staff are very friendly and attentive. The only criticism I would give is you can't buy alchol. But the hostess assured me that the liquor licence is not far away. Early December. Definitely be back to try their peruvian cocktails. Viva Peru!

Authentic Peruvian food. So exciting to have real Peruvian food in Melbourne. Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, alfajores: yum yum yum. I think Inca Gourmet's food tastes better than the food I ate in Peru! Great place, very welcoming.
