This unique cafe in the bayside suburb of Chelsea offers a Wonderland of its own. The café/bar offers a trip down the rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland theme. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They are always willing to accommodate customers with dietary requirements for example Keto, GF or Vegan. They have an extensive menu and a vast amount of craft beers on offer. If you bring your dog be sure the staff with be as attentive to your pooch as they are to you!
Absolutely love this place, my fave local to come to for breakfast!! The vegan options are amazing. I love the vegan pancakes, the FLT panini, the scrambled tofu and the coffee. The staff are so amazingly friendly, I just love everything about this cozy spot by the beach.
My daughter just had their vegan chocolate molten cake! OMG, she ate it in seconds & said it was the best cake she’s ever eaten!! We will be back in the next few days for lunch. She can have a vegan meal & I can have “normal food”! ❤️
Just had flourless chocolate cake here, yummy, its a toss up between this and the friands now!! Oh so many choices. Sat outside with my dog who loves sitting on the bed there for doggies!!! Open till 9 tonight Meg said!!!!
Beth & Jemma.
Great cafe with a comfortable vibe. Large menu and new renovations giving it a new dimension. The staff are always friendly and fun.
Great xoffee and food to boot.
I had such a good experience here today! The place is undergoing a makeover and has removed the kids section, making it much quieter than my previous visits. Moreover, I love how they’ve added a communal bookshelf and cosy reading corner!
Their vegan menu keeps me hooked, the tofu facon gets me every time. I couldn’t resist the housemade vegan caramel slice either - which was huge and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I’m excited to see what they do once they start dinner / drinks service soon. The owner is an absolute gem and tended to my every need, truly immaculate customer service from one hospo to another!
Comfortable relaxed surroundings
Good service
Happy family meeting spot .
Coffee can be good at times .
I’ve visited at different times and noticed the slip in coffee experience when younger staff are in control , or rushed
Asked for a almond fw , was handed a super hot burnt milk nightmare said sorry this is burnt and they gave me attitude, mite I add I also teach people how to brew a tidy taste full coffee , ex barista and teacher of roasted addiction.
On a positive note I’ve also had a delightful coffee here , witch I happily ordered a second . So 3.5 is a good rate👍
This little gem doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it’s huge, Alice in wonderland themed, and has a self contained deli. Great prices and great food! Full range of options from a takeaway pie or home baked muffin to an extensive menu of salads and gourmet all-day breakfasts and lunch choices! Recommend!
Gorgeous little cafe, with great selection of delicious food including a great deli. Staff and atmosphere are wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place
Little sheepish hides tucked away at the back of the main shopping strip in Chelsea. It features a fanciful Mad Hatter theme, with a mural of the character on one wall, and oversize playing cards on the walls and fittings. It has a large dining space, with black decor and a rustic unpolished timber floor. A mixed array of tables, including one with a tree stump base, are matched with assorted retro wooden kitchen chairs and some cosy upholstered chairs. A fun and eclectic setting. The menu is quite surprising and a delight, with an entire page of vegan and vegetarian choices, including tofu scrambles, and a panini using facon (fake bacon, to the uninitiated). Wow, who would have thought in Chelsea - could it be that palates are becoming more sophisticated, or is it simply an anomaly? I selected the loaded tofu scramble, which comes with onion, mushroom, capsicum and tomato, and this was attractively presented, tasty and filling. I found the coffee very good - strong and extracted properly, and served at a good temperature. The service was casual, friendly and chatty, and the venue had a good feel to it. I will definitely make a return visit.
Surprised this place has such a low rating. Always a big feed, good coffee and very family friendly for my crazy toddler. We'll keep supporting you and will be back!
I found this place to be great for a casual breakfest or lunch with kids. Great play area and a nice kids menu. Very reasonable prices and the staff were good. Will be back.
This is a hidden gem. Friendly staff, happy to change or add to orders if you ask. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast meals, will go back.
This is a hidden gem at the back of a run down arcade. I've had well poached eggs, bacon and toast for brunch, take away pastries and even ordered some very affordable catering for a party - and to top it off service is always very friendly and attentive.
The incorporated deli is a nice touch too, a good choice for ham and cheese etc. compared to nearby Woolies.

Love the vibe of the place 😍 the whole Alice in Wonderland theme is amazing.
The customer service is outstanding 👏🏽 👌🏽 and the food to die for. We went with a friend, she had a lasagna and she said it was good.
My partner and I are vegan and we had the curry (to die for 🤤🤤🤤) and he had the vegan burger and it was all so delicious.
💯 recommend for a good dinner, coffee or just some drinks.
Also they have the pizza shop next to eat which you can order from it too.
Just spectacular ✨️
Great local bar that supports local products. They have cool events like this tasting by moon dog brewery. The decor has an Alice in wonderland rebels theme. It’s a cool quirky venue to go with friends or family. Outdoor seating and cozy indoor couches to enjoy delicious beverages
Spacious well designed eating area, excellent ambience. The food we tried was well above average in taste. The lightly fried fish bites seemed to be fresh and not from frozen. If they were from frozen then they've figured out how to make them taste fresh! The veggie-burger and sumptuous veggie-pies are very good. One notable item is they don't put much salt on anything, so you can add salt to taste. We were impressed with this because once salt is in, it can't be removed. It happens too often in eateries, and is no fun.
What a great venue this was! As a fan of Alice in Wonderland the decor was entertaining and sparked conversation about the books, author and the movies. Food wise there was quite a bit to choose from and Vegan and GF friendly. The menu is something they can expand on especially in the dessert/cakes department. Good range of beers to try as well!
P.S their assistant manager was great to chat with!
Loved it. Took my wife here for brunch on her birthday and we both enjoyed it so much. Such a good vegan menu. Great decor. Friendly staff. Will be back soon.
Amazing food... Amazing service and a great atmosphere and vibe. So proud this is in my hometown.
I absolutely love the atmosphere here as well as the food. The staff all seem happy to be there and did I mention the food?? Soooo delish💗
