This is one of the best Indian food that we have ever had and so are really excited that it's in Chelsea! The goat curry and saggi lamb and Dahl and birhani rice were all top quality. Always 5 star, always fresh and authentic indian, my favourite local restaurant � the staff treat us like family and I get withdrawals if I don't go atleast once a week. Saag chicken's my favourite, beef vindaloo's divine and no meal is complete without their garlic naan ���

Coming from UK and our Indian food I was a little wary but it was excellent. Not a huge choice but all very authentic and tasty.

Went here for takeaway the other night and really enjoyed it. Food seemed a decent quality and prices were reasonable. Will be back for sure.
I was pleasantly surprised with this low profile eatery, from the smiling and efficient service of the wait staff to the overall quality of food that was offered. Our order comprised of a kid friendly (non spicy) version of butter chicken which the kids devoured with the fresh naans and mango lassi.
The adult order of goat curry had the right amount of spice for the seasoned spice eater and the navratan korma was delicious too. Serving proportions were large and the accompanying kulfi for dessert was delicious.
Overall, the smiling customer service and fresh taste makes this a goto place for Indian cuisine if you are in the area.
We got take away delivered from Indian Hut Chelsea last night. First Indian place we’ve tried since recently moving to the area. Safe to say we’ll be ordering again! Exceptional quality of food, extensive range including plenty of vegetarian and all at reasonable prices. Best pumpkin massala and top vindaloo. Breads were fresh, tasty and not too oily.
Sensational addition to the Chelsea food landscape. The food is excellent: smallish quantities but high in quality and not over-priced. This place started out fairly recently and had bright lights and cold decor (the back door was open in winter the first time we went them. It was freezing). I politely suggested they create mood lighting and keep it cosy and it is pleasing to see they have done that. The place was packed when we returned; and rightly so. It's good Indian cuisine, done well, not exorbitantly-priced, and they are friendly in the service department. What more could you want, really? ... Power too them and I hope they stay.

This place has just opened up and the food is good--very good. I've been waiting for a good Indian to open up in this part of the world for ages, and now it is here I shall patronise it often and regularly. They occupy the site of an Afghan restaurant which was also pretty good, but only lasted a few months as they failed to heed simple advice: ambience is everything. Food is important, of course, but bright flouro lights and lousy decor make a great difference to the dining experience (similarly, wine does taste different in a nice glass). The same goes for Indian Hut. If they get the mood right, add some table lamps, and/or candles, invest in some better crockery, a little incense, and put Ravi Shankar on the turntable, they can charge twice the price and will have hipsters queuing at the door. Note: This is the real deal: Indian food by Indians in the South-East of Melbourne, 35km from city central. (Update: August 2017. I see someone gave this 1.0 for a review. Some people seem to live on a different food planet. I only note that, as of this update, IH received 4.7 on EatNow.com from 60 reviews; 5 stars on Tripadvisor from 4 reviews; 4.5 stars from 22 Google reviews. I have no pecuniary gain from writing this review. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but *really* .... try it for yourself. Amazing Indian food! Highly recommend. My partner and I love Indian food and try out lots of Indian restaurants. This is by far the best we have had and it's our new go-to place. We haven't been disappointed in the past 2 years we have been ordering from here. I definitely recommend this place!
Took a chance this evening - we were the only diners however the delivery & quality of our food did not disappoint. The garlic bread and the raw onion spice accompaniment were excellent with our samosas, lamb rogan josh & the tandoori platter were great. will definitely come back to try different food selections.

Awesome food only ever had takeaway but can not fault this place. Food is always fresh and full of flavour. Would recommend if you like hot curry’s as the vindaloo tastes exactly as it should. Have tried a lot of dishes and have not been disappointed once yet. Keep up the good work.
