Review Kiko's Catch - Cheltenham

I was in the area today and decided to have some fish and chips from kikos catch. I was so amazingly surprised by the quality freshness and service. I highly recommend kikos catch. Really enjoyed and came home to let my family know. Unfortunately I live over an hour way. A bit far but i will certainly spread the word.thankyou for a beautiful experience

Grilled fish wasn't really grilled as still had a batter on it which fell of the fish as soon as i picked up it. Batter fish (snapper) wasn't crispy and a bit blonde on colour. Chips were ok, at least cooked to order and fresh Scallop was tiny Potato cake was average Maybe im used to UK fish n chips but this experience wasn't the best. Will try else where

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Everything was perfect – succulent fish bites, delicate scallops, generous minimum chips, delicious battered sav, tasty Sth Melb Dim Sim – even the pickled onion provided a lovely contrast. The seasoning was well balanced – not too salty, but not bland – and everything was piping hot. Lovely staff too! I'll definitely be back!

Best fish n chips I've had. Fish is cooked to order. No soft and rancid tasting fish or fries. The premise is super clean as well. Will come back again and again

I really enjoyed the Burger and fried food from here. The fries and seafood were crispy and delicious. Their hamburger was tasty and cheap. Definitely want come back and try the other food:)

Very surprised. Ordering a grilled flake the fish comes in its own box with a small salad and lemon wedge. Chips and especially potato cakes really good and crispy

The best fish and chips ever!!! Lovely service!! Very quick and well priced. The fish is actually fresh which you don’t find often and I love how they add the salad to the grilled flake - such a lovely touch. My partner and I are addicted to this place!!! Please never ever change!

Super delicious and fresh fish and chippery 😍. If you order the salmon you get two filets and they come with freshly chopped iceberg salad, tomatoes and onions. The drizzle of olive oil is a nice extra. The small pack of chips is actually quite big. You get a lot of value for your money. My partner always takes the hamburger pack that is always delicious too according to him. I highly recommend you to try their fish and chips, you won't regret it!

After moving back to Mentone (after 30 years away) we recently discovered Kiko's Catch. My husband remembers the tiny shop from 60 years ago when he was a kid and decided to give the beautifully revamped business a try. WOW!! We've been to Tommy Ruff in Mordialloc several times, but this is so much better, the prices more reasonable and closer to home. We usually have beautifully (large) grilled snapper (always with a complimentary lemon slice and side salad), huge scallops and king prawns with a crunchy batter and perfectly golden chips.<br/>Unlike many fish and chip shops, Kiko's is managed by a lovely lady who can actually cook and uses up-to-date equipment. We've never had to wait long even when the shop is full. The first time we went, there were 6 Japanese tourists sitting at the outdoor tables and chairs eating hamburgers. These looked amazing and we'll be sampling these soon. <br/>In our humble opinion Kiko's Catch must qualify as one of the finest fish and chip shops in Melbourne,

Grade A quality food. I previously used to get my burgers from another fish and chip shop which I also rated very highly. Kikos are actually better and more reasonably priced <br/>

The shop is pretty and I really love how crunchy the fish (or flake) comes out. This is probably ny favourite Fish and Chips shop in the area!

Always great fish and chips. Not too oily and the prices are fair. Never a long wait even at peak times. Will always come even from a few suburbs over.

Really awesome fish and chips. The store it replaced was disgusting, used to go to the charman fish and chips across the railway line, not anymore. It is a bit more expensive, but you're getting better quality food.<br/><br/>Adding a surcharge if you pay by card sucks though - it's 2018...

Best fish and chips in the area. Not sure why the rating isn’t higher. I usually go for the grilled snapper or whiting and I’m happy every time.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Cheap and great tasting chips. Great for quick dinner or large party. Haven’t yet tried other menu items but most certainly will return!

Love it! Reminds me of the amazing fish and chip places of the 80s and 90s! How the score is so low is beyond! The fish is fresh, the chips are classic, the service is prompt even when busy! Keep it up!

Kiko’s Catch is a recently opened fish and chip shop in Cheltenham that replaces an existing fish and chippery down that way. A new fit out and new management have done wonders and the place had that sparkly newness about it. Service was quick and there was a steady stream of phone ahead customers coming and going while we waited. Chips were perfectly cooked and Kelisi claims the potato cakes were the best she’s had in years (they were very good I have to say). The test will be a return visit on a Friday night to see how they cope with peak crowds but early signs are most definitely positive. <br/><br/>We could not fault so my first 5 in quite a while 👍🏽
