Felt like getting some indian food at chermside.
Google gave me two options.
Dhishoom and Bombay Bliss. I have been to both to satisfy my spice cravings.
I went to bombay bliss for lunch and the sheer quantity of their lunch deal overwhelmed me.
I have had the lunch meal in the chermside mall and that is not even the size of an entree compared to what I got served here. Unlike at the mall, the food was prepared fresh. And easily one of the most authentic palak panneer I have had on this side of the pacific ocean.
Ask the staff for extra hot if you want test the limits of your spice tolerance and you will not be disappointed. Fair warning extra hot is actually EXTRA HOT here.
happy munching.
Got take away dinner here tonight and it was great! I loved every bit of it, we had butter chicken, nan and rice. Everything was perfect, meat was tender and sauce was full of flavour. Will definitely be ordering again ! Thanks
Been going here for years. While the quality can vary each time, it is still some of the best Indian in the area. Really friendly staff.
The Calcutta lamb is great service is abit slow But worth the wait
Premshankar Ramachandran
+4.5
I had chicken biriyani from there. Was not great, but yea it was eatable. We also bought couple of curries. Overall a 6 out of 10.
Absolutely amazing! I had the prawns masala and couldn't have been more satisfied.
Good food. Really nice staff and big meals. A large takeaway was enough for 3 adults and only $15.
Blissful. Yummy, dined in Cher side the first time with a spreets voucher
And have been back to get takeaways, in keperra though due to location and both spots serve fabulous Indian food...
Great use of voucher to gain exposure
Great Indian food on the Northside. We were looking for a good Indian restaurant and we have found Bombay Bliss-it is really good food with no added colour and lovely flavours (it was quite spicy even though we said mild-so not sure how hot medium-hot would be!). Definitely recommend that one.
Fabulous. We love Bombay Bliss at Chermside. The food there is fabulous and a really good price!!
Nice food - restaurant is a bit small though. Came here for the first time as dine-in customers. Food was very yummy and everyone had a great time but restaurant is a little bit small to be feeling comfortable. Having said that, the staff were very very nice indeed and could not have been more friendly.
We have been back many times since then, but just for takeaway.
Great Indian on the northside. My friends and I got takeout from here last weekend and it was delicious. $19 will get you a curry, naan bread, raita and rice. The guy working there was really helpful when deciding what to get, and it was cooked quickly. Not sure I'd ever eat in here as it's a tiny restaurant but I definitely recommend the food - I try different Indian restaurants all the time and this one was really tasty!

One of the best Indian Restaurant in Brisbane. I am your regular customer since a long time and I have never been disappointed with your curries and naan bread. I love the authentic taste that you have in your curries. Your naan breads are always fresh and delicious. Also the customer service is excellent and so welcoming. Even though it's the long time I've been eating your food, the taste remains the same. It's always natural, fresh and yummy. The best part is that you guys never use any artificial colors in your food. Your restaurant is so convenient and never had to worry about parking. The entrees on your menu is so delicious. I have tried almost all of your items. The best I liked among them is the Butter chicken and The Hyderabadi Sindhi Briyani Rice. You have lots of offer, discounts and deals which is suitable for individuals and family. And loyalty card provides offers every now and then. You guys also offer Gift voucher in every special occasions, so we like to come back to Bombay Bliss very often. You are the only Restaurant which provides money back guarantee if the customer is not happy. Thanks for the lovely customer service.
They make a really good chicken balti and the naan are not the largest around but is always very nice. Veg samosas are worth a try and my GF gets them every time. Warning it can get busy but this is a testament to the popularity of the place. Recommend using Uber eats if you’re getting delivery so you can track your order and driver. The spice levels are Indian levels so if you’re not big on spice stick to the low end. I love chilly and the extra hot is full of heat but not at the expense of flavour (in the balti that is). Only 3 tables inside and a few outside, more of a takeaway style restaurant but not the kind where it’s coming from a hot box.
Have ordered from here several times. Food is always great - kids love the butter chicken and we love the saag paneer. This time we got the family pack with spring rolls (yum), naan, rice and two curries. Excellent value, great tasting food, friendly service and fast completion of our order. Would highly recommend.
4 stars for their 1kg chicken biryani. It’s served with eggs and yogurt. Can keep a man or two full for a day.
