Such a lovely cafe. We had a great time and enjoyed the food. The ragu was good considering this is a cafe and the steak sandwich was nice thanks to the relish. We couldn’t try the famous brioche but the homemade raspberry, almond and coconut slice was so delicious - and I dont even like coconut! Couple of point to consider since I see the owner reading the reviews - If the dinner specials are not available, they could probably go off the board? We happened to order one and were then told it wasn’t available 10% surcharge on Sundays in Sydney is very, very rare. Public holidays - totally understandable

A 4.5 for me! Delicious French toast! Nom nom nom nom. My partner says his big breakfast was good too. No butter for the bread though! The coffees seem to come out later in general, they seem quite busy with the takeaway coffees. But forgiveable cuz coffee was good :) one thing that bothered me was why the lady who greeted us looked around to see if there were empty seats available, and asked us if we had a reservation, as if it might be difficult to find us seats. The place was half full gee come on. Maybe she was counting heads. But staff were friendly in general. What's important is that French toast was good!!!

Lunch with the family. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the coffee was amazing!

Very Good out of the way cafe. At Apple tree it is not on the way to other sttraction. But it is worth a visit as it serves very good cafe food. Service is prompt and very friendly. The have great milkshakes and thick shakes. Prices are reasonable. The place is neat and tidy and looks very clean. It is also licenced whether I'm not sure when the licence hours apply. I will be back.

The Burrow is such a great cafe. It was my first time coming here for lunch with my family. We ordered french toast, chicken schnitzel and one of their specials: pork belly burger. Everything was so delicious! Every dish was flavoursome and cooked perfectly. My personal favourite was the pork belly burger. Crispy crackling and juicy pork with tasty sauce. Coffee was great too. Highly recommend.

Great cafe tucked away in Appletree shops at Cherrybrook. Great for small large groups, has outdoor dining and suitable for couples, families (kids and or dogs). We ordered chicken schnitzel ($22) and a pumpkin salad ($17), both were tasty, and schnitzel was cooked just right. Finished off with a lemon and coconut slice and blueberry muffin - their muffin were baked on premises and tastes awesome! Kids menu available.

Favourite cafe and restaurant to go to in the Hills and Cherrybrook! The French toast for breakfast the other day was perfect. To top it off the cafe / restaurant has recently been renovated and it looks great! Really added to the atmosphere and has made it a great local place to go for dinner and drinks. Will definitely be back 😊

This place is great! I recommend the burger and mango smoothie for lunch, great combo. Coffee and brownie were also excellent. Great atmosphere and lovely 'school theme' decor.

Tried this great new cafe yesterday. It was fantastic. Coffee was terrific and the staff were able to make a simple change to my meal to accomodate my need for gluten free. Delicious salad! Thank you. Shame I live too far to make it my local!

Great little cafe that just opened up in Cherrybrook. Awesome friendly service. The food was very good and the portions were generous. I had the burger, the patty was juicy and well seasoned. The chips were the best I've had in a long time. The coffee was also exceptional. Will definitely go back.

I went here for the first time yesterday and loved it! The staff were polite and friendly, the coffee was great and the chicken salad I had was delicious. Even though it was quite busy when I was there, the staff remained attentive and continued to provide great service. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back! :)

Great addition to Cherrybrook. Well thought out simple menu and the lunch we had was delicious. The staff may be young but all are friendly and clearly working their butts off! Look forward to seeing the menu evolve as they settle in but we had a great experience and will be back!

Congratulations the Cafe is well appointed well staffed and the Coffee is exceptional. The food was delicious and well presented. I had the Thai Chicken Salad and a large cappuccino. Meg the owner also makes the most amazing cupcakes and cakes for any occasion!!! If you live in the area please support this new cafe.

I have been there a few times and every visit has been so lovely! Today I had a tricky visit with my kids, the staff members truly went above and beyond to help us out! Not to mention the food is always delicious and fresh.

I first heard about The Burrow when they launched their amazing looking Caramilk pancakes. I unfortunately didn’t make it out to try those, but all their food looked so good that I thought it would be worth a 40 minute drive out to Cherrybrook….and it was! Two things I lurrrrvvvve in winter is slow cooked lamb and roasted pumpkin. I thought now the cooler weather is here that my salad bowl days were gone, but this was the perfect winter bowl. The 12 hour braised Moroccan lamb was perfectly tender, the pumpkin was full of flavour and I really liked the contrasting textures with the crispy chickpeas and pops of pomegranate offsetting the spinach and couscous. Paired with a glass of Malbec, it was a very indulgent mid-week lunch. My friend had the fish and chips and he said the fish was really crispy and tasted great.

Love their coffee! Breakfast is delicious and staff is always friendly and helpful. We keep going back!

With revamped look and more food and drinks on the menu, there are more reasons to visit this venue! <br/>We ordered our all-time-favourites from there: the famous French Toast and pork belly burger.<br/>So delish, as expected!<br/>We also tried their chicken and waffles which was delightful.<br/>Coffee was amazing (from @thelittlemarionette ☕️) Make sure to also try their homemade prana masala chai. Definitely not your ordinary chai.

Solid food, they’ve recently introduced a dinner menu and the staff are great! <br/><br/>Love a good local. I believe there is still some room for improvement but honestly, these guys are always progressive and bettering themselves by the day so you just can’t go wrong. These guys have changed their menu and are now introducing dinner! They constantly recreating and coming up with new things, check them out if you’re in the area!

Big bang for buck! I ordered the smashed avo with bacon and the serving size was HUGE. The whole dish was delicious as the ingredients were so fresh. Look at those tomatoes 🤩

A little local gem in Appletree. Nice coffee and a good selection of food. The cafe gets quite busy on weekends so food and drinks may take a while
