Review Chicken Express - Chester Hill

Chicken here are moist and delicious. They have spicy chicken available though it's not super spicy. They had meal offers (next to the payment counter) which weren't on the main menu board and not clearly visible. We would have gone with the meal deal but only found out after we paid.

I've been searching for deep fried mushrooms. I've found chicken heaven and my life is now complete. The chips are amazing and the deep fried mushrooms are life! 🤤🤤🤤 Thankyou!!!

The food and service were okay. I was hoping for good things from this shop but the wait time (about 20 minutes) and unfriendly service wasn't to my liking. The chicken was a bit too dry and the chips were over cooked. The mushrooms were nice, though. Unfortunately, it won't become the Homestead Chicken standard I was looking for.

VERY slow service(took over 20 minutes to make a burger and chips, no-one else in store!) and burgers always have yellow or wilting old lettuce on them. Won't buy burgers here anymore. Chicken is ok but very oily. Everything out of the deep fryer tastes the same. Need to change oil more often. Chips are the only decent food there.

The best fried chicken and the service is excellent always. Their chicken always tastes like the frying oil is changed regularly. Nice clean taste. Not like KFC where you have that old frying oil taste when you eat their chicken.. If I crave fried chicken, this is where the family and I go. 8 plus years. Also if you like fried mushrooms, you’ll love theirs.

I used to come here all the time when i was a kid when it used to be called 'Chicken Express'. Back then, they used to have the best chips ever but now when i go, the chicken is always way too dry, and chips are drenched with salt. One thing i will also mention is with the picture of the burgers on the menu, the chicken looks to be fried chicken but is in actual fact grilled chicken. You might want to consider changing the image at the front as i think its misleading as even i expected my chicken to be fried when receiving it.

Regret purchase. The chicken was dry and extremely salty. I couldn’t even taste the chicken. All I tasted was salt and spice.The fried battered mushrooms were ok, however there was so much batter compared to the mushrooms! So I was eating chunks of fried batter. The chips was sub par. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Hands down the worse chicken and chips ever.

my goodness the worst experience ive ever had, starting off with customer service the girl on the counter (asian background) was so rude to me, she couldnt even be bothered to place my food in the bag. she served me first and i was the last to get my food. Understandable, but then the chicken was as dry as my cold feet on a freezing winters day. it tasted like crap & to top it off i was food poisoned ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH CHICKEN EXPRESS SO APPRECIATED YOUR RUBBISH FOOD MADE ME SICK ! I WILL NAME AND SHAME !
