A delightful old style pub in the hills, a railway used to go past, discontinued in the 60s. The station across the road was the watering place for the Steam trains when they were running, the water came from a lake nearby. My family had lived in the area for approx. the last 50 years.
Absolutely delicious!! One of if not the best salt & pepper squid salads I've ever had & hubby had the steak sandwich & OMG amazing & I'm very fussy lol. Thankyou for a delicious lunch we will definitely be back. 😊

The locals are friendly, tavern has character and a good range. Plan to go back for a meal sometime and try the crumbed Camembert
