I really enjoyed my first dining experience here. Fantastic food, great service. The meat is beautifully cooked, absolutely tender. We tried a sharing platter which really was alot of food as you get sides with it. The platter also contained veges/sauces/purees. We ordered extra sides of veges but it really wasn’t needed! Great place for food and wine with friends or a date.
Have been here about 5 times now, and every time was a great experience. Decor, food quality, and cleanliness are all pretty good. The staff are friendly, caring and attentive to detail too. Their Groupon deals have always been exceptional value..so look out for those.
I came to Carne Grill for some good steak and I have to say it was an amazing dinner with good quality food! We ordered the Waygo beef steak in medium rare and the salmon. Both meats were so rich in flavor! The beef was crunchy on the out and pink on the inside! Very soft and tender. Along with a salad and smashed potato we had an amazing dinner!
Definitely recommended if you are looking for a fine dining experience! Looking forward to coming bac k and try some more of their menu.
Great fine dining experience with a lovely waitress. Couldn’t fault the food and wine. It was pretty busy when we went in there for lunch and we only found by accident so good day all round for the family..
Hands down one of the best meat places in town! A carnivore's heaven!Their big boards are epic! Definitely give their dry aged steak a try too!The carnivorous minion approves!
If you've got a hankering for meat and your on this side of town this is the place to go. Quality aged meats cooked to perfection. We had the Ribeye and Eye fillet, both were fantastic!
We went to Carne for a nice steak and wine and we're blown away with the quality of food that we received! The Wagyu beef was just perfect, the chefs cooked it to perfection at my preferred medium-rare state and the sides that perfectly crunchy and full of flavour.
It is the perfect place to get a high quality meal and catch up with friends, right on the footsteps to the Yarra Valley!

Carne Grill first opened its doors in Melbourne’s Chirnside Park at the gateway to the Yarra Valley in 2017.
The restaurant offers a memorable dining experience where meat is the undisputed star of the show. Carne Grill epitomises the concept of a serious steakhouse and is not for the faint hearted. From the aged meats hanging in the temperature controlled fridge on display to the hefty steak knives at the table, Carne Grill exudes seriousness about its meats.
The vastness of the dining room does not come at the expense of warmth, with an open kitchen showcasing the chefs hard at work and a stylish bar that specialises in the finest hand-selected local wines. Views of the sweeping terraced verandah and lagoon outside can be enjoyed from every angle courtesy of the ceiling to floor windows.
My husband and I just happened to visit on the night where a roat pig on the spit was being cooked so of course, this is what we ordered. Very, very impressed with not only the quality of the meat but how well it was cooked!! It must've just fallen off the bone because it was served shredded and every single piece was juicy and moist.
The outdoor area is really nice, overlooking a small lagoon so coming for an al fresco dinner during the warmer months is an absolute must!! We'll be back for our next date night, for sure!
All I can say is THE BEST. Literally one of the tastiest steaks and ribs I have had in my life! So soft and juicy, the steak actually melts in your mouth and was cooked to perfection obviously! Ribs had a great sauce on them and just slid off the bone. Do yourself a favour and put this place on your must visit list!
Came here the other week for their oktoberfest launch night, the food was outstanding, don't think I've ever had better tasting meat in melbourne, you can certainly tell they know what they're doing.
Dined with a cudo voucher, great value deal - 3 course dinner with a drink for $79 for a couple. I ordered the beef cheek, atlantic salmon & vanilla bean pannacotta. All meals were well presented, large serving sizes & tasty. Hubby enjoyed his meal also of calamari, pork belly & banoffee. Service was friendly. Overall great value deal but normal price is quite expensive.
This was was a surprising gem! The meat platters are amazing, in-house made chips, warm breads and sauces. Delicious desserts. Highly recommend this place!
Amazing! Second time coming here and the food is absolutely beautiful. I’ve worked in two very popular Grills in Melbourne so I have high expectations and Carne Grill blew me away. Cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Staff were attentive and the hostess was very accommodating to assure we got the table we chose for our anniversary. We will be recommending Carne to everyone.
Stopped here for dinner on a Saturday evening and waa glad we had prebookes...abt 30 mins after we arrived the place was buzzing with people. The meal was perfect! We ordered the Carnivore which displays a selection of their perfectly cooked meat. Added some sides and we left popping at the sides...beaut food all round and staff were friendly. The setting is good too....we were put kn a room with a few tables so it still felt like you had your own space. However it is quite pricey so I would be thinking twice about going back.
Duck fat chips and bernaise sauce... Need I say more? OK I will; this place pleasantly surprised us because we are really stuck up about restaurant options in the outer eastern 'burbs. The wine list is very good and represents local & Australian wines very well. Grown up venue that caters to kids beyond the brown food slop kids usually get served up. Wednesday is "ribs and reds" night which is good for a mid week date night. Desserts are yummy - chocolate fondant rocks my world.
I'd have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about coming here after reading a mixed experience of good and bad reviews, however I was pleasantly impressed.
The share board covered all bases and was great to try all the meats and flavours. Stand outs were the mash with the ribs and the wagu beef 😍
Staff were great and it is nice to have a location like this close by.
However it is quite pricey so can't say I'd be back that often as I'd think twice on the $$ since I could go for a fine dining experience in the city at this price level.
I really enjoyed this place but the prices are probably a little high. The T Bone steak, (although a little pricey $45 and an extra $5 for the jus) was cooked to perfection! I did find it a little odd that it came pre sliced....but maybe I just don’t get out enough. For the $45 you get the steak and the hand cut chips so we ordered a side of greens ($10) and these were equally delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Amazing food, extensive menus and great fit out. Have had almost every item on the menu over a few visits. The steaks are tender and moist and the chimichurri sauce is delicious. Other notable mentions are the pork belly, beef cheek and Poisson. The desserts are also delectable; we had a mandarin tiramisu and it was bloody delicious!!! Highly recommended.
We've been twice and have loved both times. Each time has been booked out yet food arrives in good time frame. Staff are very well informed in food and wine knowledge and attentive and polite as required.
Food is delicious and although on the $$ side we've feel it's an awesome high quality meal and dining experience for price. When I cut the ribs up it is so so tender the knife just slips through.
I have no complaints about lack of flavour, although we could have done with a finger bowl with our ribs!
Warming - you will need to pay for a side dish as many sides are sparse. But you only need one to share.
We took our 7yr old twins who don't do "fine dining" and had no issues feeding them and they loved the food.
Highly recommend if you looking for a decent grill or fish and a high quality meal.
Great feed at Carne Grille tonight, beef cheeks were so tender, steak was great lots of flavor had 2 sides that really complimented the meal, then had chocolate fondant for desert the best I have had. The place was very busy we waited 30 minutes for our food but they kept the drinks flowing and our waitress was very entertaining, will be back for sure.
Great to have a restaurant of this quality in Chirnside Park. Prices are a bit pricey. The main meals are quite small and could comfortably feed one person. Not sure about them being sharing plates, due to the size of the meal. Staff very attentive, food delicious, great atmosphere with huge spacious tables. Despite the price, will go again! Shame no coffees were avaliable after dinner

Came here with friends. The restaurant is nice, chairs are slightly uncomfy but are okay for an hour or so. I was pleasantly surprised by the price of cocktails - expected them to be more expensive given meal prices, but were all $16. They were really tasty too, and aren't stingy on alcohol they put in there!
The place was so busy (we went on a Tuesday). Lots of people were there almost all the tables were full, which means plenty of people enjoy the place. The music was not too loud - you could hear it but still have comfortable conversation. Once more people came in, it got harder to have conversation, just needed to raise your voice a little.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Customer service is worth so much and it did not disappoint here.
My friends enjoyed their pizza and bruschetta! They both said it was delicious. I had a few of the chips too and they were so good. Salted perfectly and nice and crispy.
I had a veggie calzone. The dough was tasty and fresh. There was lots of cheese inside, but the extras (zucchini and mushroom) were fairly sparse. Would have been delicious if some pesto was added! But still, I would definitely go back to try some other things on the menu!
The prices are a bit higher than other places, but you get a decent amount of food for it, and its pretty tasty. I would recommend this place!
It's so rare to find a place where the kitchen staff smile at you as you walk in and when you're leaving, but we received such genuine smiles from the Zero95 crew. Not to mention service was super quick and the food was fantastic. Be warned though, serving sizes are huge! A pizza is easily shared between two and so are the desserts

These guys are known for great pizza at all their locations. We were not let down tonight. Calamari was good too. You need to book. Bit noisy for this old bloke but otherwise great food and service.

Have been twice in the space of a couple of months. Food is incredible. Authentic Italian fare cooked perfectly. It has to be said that the food arrives quite quickly.
Unfortunately, the rest of the service is extremely slow. Took over 5 minutes to receive a 2 drink order (bottled beer and a coke) despite the venue only being half full and staff seemingly standing around waiting for the next order to come out of the kitchen.
Staff would also be advised to offer beverages more than once throughout the sitting. Order taken for drinks at the start, was never asked again despite clearly having finished a drink and the waitress removing the empty bottle mid way through.
The level of service has been the case both times.
