Great pizza! We are fussy pizza eaters and it ticked all the boxes. Good casual feed, fabulous for families with kids. Prices are more pizza restaurant than neighborhood pizza joint, but it's worth it. Better wines than your average pizzeria. This place is brand new so we were expecting teething problems and there were just a few. But the owner handled it with calm and generosity. Well done!

Ledah and I dropped in today and were warmly welcomed by the pizza chef and staff immediately. Great salad,chorizo and pork meatballs w tzatziki. Fresh. Delicious. On leaving we were treated to a sample of the pizza w mushrooms and goat cheese. Awesome. Go and enjoy the great food, hospitality and beach location.
Excellent new pizza restaurant. Pizza was excellent 9.5/10, but only because I never give a ten. Fast service, great bases, good cheese and yummy fresh ingredients (and large selection of ingredients too). A few not unexpected teething problems: mild confusion re billing system and oven temp issues (more of a delay while it heated up to the ideal 400 degree temp). But once sorted out, it'll be full steam ahead for this place. Loved it. Will come again.
I had the best vegan pizza ever. They even have vegan cheese. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Perth.

Went there on a saturday night and cant fault it! The service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. I had he warm seafood salad, my mum a pizza and hubby the teardrop pasta. Cant wait to go back!!

Great pizza. Great location. We've eaten here many times. I really dig their pizza and the pick-your-own-topping-form is a nice option for fussy people. The only thing letting this place down is that the service can be a bit average. Staff could use some training. We've had forgotten drinks orders and struggle to get the attention of staff at times. I hope they figure this out. In saying that, we keep coming back because the food is good and the location is great (plus we're pretty chill, patient and forgiving diners). An ice cold beer and a pepperoni pizza on the beach is a great thing.
Came here for a work lunch. Ordered about 5 items, all came out tasting so delicious!! Would absolutely go here again and would defiantly recommend!

Casual dining with lots of seating inside and out. Fabulous when the sea breeze comes in and you can gaze out over the ocean. They have a big menu which is about two thirds pizzas, plus salads, small bites, pastas, seafood and a selection of alcoholic drinks.
We found the service to be friendly and accommodation and the prices are much more reasonable than the restaurants either side.
We ordered the signature seafood marinara pizza - it was served fresh and hot and had a generous serve of seafood on the top. They also do vegan cheese.
We would definitely come back again.
Always happy at rise, nice people and food is just right for a family that includes psychopathically fussy kids. The location of course is world class especially when the sun is setting. Our preferred family spot.

Visited RISE last evening with a family group and it was fabulous. A fun and friendly atmosphere with a fantastic view of the ocean. The sunset is amazing. The food was outstanding and the service friendly and efficient. Loved it!!
Very yummy pizza. Also had a good seafood pasta. Coffee and cake special was great, love the cheesecake come with ice cream. Had a good day there. (Beer for $12 is a bit dear unless they upsize it next time).
Good experience, so many options to customise but can get a bit pricey when adding multiple toppings so look out! Really tasty though and decent sized. Their drink options we a bit strange, I got a refill soda cup which is a good idea but not common, and their water station didn't really work
What makes this pizza shop great, is the genuine friendliness of the staff. When we were faced with uncertainty, the waiter patiently explained and guided us through the various options on the menu, and I was quite excited about the 'make it your way' pizza. Once we decided what we were going to have to eat, our food was served in what seemed like minutes. Such a great spot, I will definitely visit as much as I can.
Wait staff were very attentive and friendly here. Flexible menu and you can even create your own pizza. Got half and half of magic mushroom and pork belly. Not bad tasting, will be back!
I have been a number of times and really like the comfort and convenience of grabbing a tasty pizza while enjoying the close proximity and view of the beach. I would highly recommend ordering the Satay chicken pizza 👌🏼
The location is incredible but I wonder if Rise is aiming for the wrong market by focusing on families. The 'family friendly' touches include plastic water glasses and water jugs and very simple decor. The service is very friendly and the meze platter was good. The pizzas looked good too. If they raised the bar with decor and better catered to people without kids it would do a lot better.
We came here for takeaway on a Wednesday night. I was a bit hesitant about the waiting time after reading reviews on this site so when we ordered I asked how long it would take and were told only 10 minutes. We waited on the grass area with our dog as planned to have a sunset picnic and true to their word the 3 pizzas only took 10 minutes. And they were very good! Not as authentic as Italian pizza but so much better then the chains or the local places near our home. I chose the wholemeal base and we all created our own pizza's and we enjoyed them all. Even the dog! (but in saying that he will eat just about anything) The staff were friendly too. We would like to return and dine inside to sample the pasta or chilli mussels.
Decided to come here with some friends after the beach. The pizzas are amazing and the chips came out within minutes. Noisy, but great for families. Will be coming back!
Awesome wood fired style pizzas, with crispy bases and so many toppings to choose from! I love that you can make your own pizza to your liking, and such reasonable prices for right on the beach! Love this place, found my new pizza local!

Really surprised to see some negative reviews from people on this place! Probably consider themselves 'foodies' and that this place is not fancy enough for them. It's not pretending to be anything it's not. It's a great family friendly, easy on the budget pizza joint in a great location. The service was friendly, quick and most importantly, the pizza was yum! I will definitely be back!
Have been waiting for a good pizza joint like this for ages..puzzled by the recent reviews- maybe management has improved - myself and wife went here last night- service was excellent - staff were very cheerful and informative- ordered the farmers market and a custom - thought this was great as you can select fresh ingredients right in front of you- the pizzas were cooked to perfection and the crust was delicious- I will be back very soon - this could well become my weekly pizza fix - great stuff- also the location and building design is awesome.
Great food, lovely staff and beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend. A little quiet as expected on a Tuesday lunchtime. Soft serve sundae was delicious!

I'd been told before trying this place that it is 'Subway for woodfired pizzas' so I was expecting it to be a little like that and was pleasantly surprised that the food was much better than I was expecting.
Whilst the decorators have obviously been looking at their iPhone 'health dashboard' for inspiration - there is a lot of white and orange, but they have used good quality materials to furnish the place. However whilst we were there, once the sun started to set, the red glow of the sun meant you could ignore how jarring the colours were and could simply focus on the view. I like how at Rise the view is slightly better than from next door, a clear view of the ocean rather than being obscured by the viewing tower but I also liked that it is somewhere that you can go after you've been on the beach without having to be concerned about your appearance after being probably a little wind swept (I'll be honest, I normally look worse than bedraggled after I've been on the beach).
I feel like they could benefit from having menus on the tables rather than simply an electronic sign above the kitchen as one of us had to duck around and take a rushed look at what was available and how the whole system worked and then deliver that message back to the rest of the table. Basically they do have some set pizzas but you can choose to make your own and get to chose between different bases, sauces and cheese before you even get to the toppings. I prefer fewer toppings to more, so we chose to make our own with Italian meatballs and mushrooms and a tomato base. The meatballs were tasty and the mushrooms were generously chunky rather than being thinly sliced. I enjoyed it.
This is exactly what was needed at City Beach. Great food, reasonable prices, delicious sides and a vibrant family venue. Pizzas are fantastic - highly recommend.
