All you can eat Japanese. Does it get any better? The food is fresh, delicious and fast. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.
Didn’t get my seaweed salad and steam rice a bit disappointed tempura is not good not recommended
Had lunch today with a friend and was more than pleased. Food was hot and fresh, the staff were more than helpful in explaining the all you can eat menu (we are used to buffets). The only downside is portion sizes, being that you pay for uneaten food can steer you away from options you may want to try but unsure of the size or taste. All in all it was worth every cent and more. We will return.
Brilliant food, great value and very fresh decor. If you're a bit famished and looking for a great feed, go to Okami. You won't be disappointed
We had a great foodie experience here.
The food were all delicious! The meal was freshly cooked and served with a salad on the side.
All the meat dishes was great. Juicy, tender, and well sauced. I particularly love the miso steak.
From entree to dessert, we loved every part of it.
Service was quick and staff were very efficient and friendly.
We went there on a Friday night for the second section at 7:45pm. Staff came to greeting in short time after we went in. Good customer service. Just one of the staff didn’t handle very well when we asked for extra table salt for our Edamame as not enough salt for our liking. She told us there salt on it already they don’t have any table salt, they have chilli powder or soy sauce. How can I put chilli powder or soy sauce for Edamame?!? So we asked another waitress and she so polite and went to get some table salt for us.
For the food, it is a great value! Food fresh and taste good, just my veggie tempura were under cook, veggie still crunchy instead of soft. Miso steak and eggplant salad are very tasty. Sushi and sashimi are good, of course not the best but you do get a better than what you pay for ($32 something a person all you can eat, cook to order)
The quality are way better than those chain Japanese restaurant or take away in Geelong and the one on Shannon Ave. sure not the best in Melbourne (I haven’t try tomodachi yet in geelong). So ATM the best in geelong especially with this price.
Definitely will go back for more.
Good job and please keep the quality, hard to find good Jap food in geelong.
Geelong now has a top star Japanese restaurant at a family affordable price.
The food is fresh and beautifully presented, staff and very friendly and a great atmosphere.
This fantastic place I strongly recommend you to try and just enjoy.
great value for money, curteous wait staff, and decent quality. would recommend seafood tempura and the steaks. not the best japanese in geelong, but definitely the best one if you're hungry!
The best Japanese all you can eat restaurant in Geelong, staff always bringing food out, staff very polite, great service. Food was also very yummy. Will come back again 100%. Price was excellent.
Tasty and colourful food with great variety. Service is very rapid - they took our order straight away when we wanted it. It is not at all expensive for what you get and drink prices are below average. You can eat healthy there if you want as they have a variety of salad dishes. Not all of the dishes are equal quality, but overall food is good. I would say 4 stars for food quality, 5 stars for variety, 5 for price and 5 for service. Our toddler (who was free) really liked it too.
As a long time Japanese food lover, I can honestly say that Okami Pako is the best Japanese food I've tried in Geelong. It is all you can eat, but you order what you want from your table. We were told that the serving sizes are small so we ordered eleven items. It turns out that the servings aren't so small after all, so we had set ourselves quite a task to finish all of it.
Every item we tried was either delicious or unique and interesting. The most unique were the king oyster mushroom salad (which tasted surprisingly meaty) and the grilled squid (which even I found to be quite intense). The most delicious was the miso steak. The steak was perfectly tender and juicy. Every item we tried was delicious - from the spring rolls to the fried chicken, the vegetable gyoza to the fried rice. I can't even remember everything that we ate. For $36 per person you probably won't find a better deal on Japanese food in Geelong.
Three of us went to dinner, meals were very ample and delicious. Our friends have been before and highly recommended it. Nice atmosphere, good attentive service, and best of all tasty food. well done!
This place is the best. $36.80 a head, to eat as much as you can fit in. The service is very quick, so no waiting between pig out sessions. Food is cooked to order and you can tell - piping hot, very fresh. Cold platters are amazing……..beware the small green ball.🥵 Not a nibble, it’s wasabi. They have a take away menu too.
Affordable and really tasty bento boxes ~ Their regular all you can eat menu is also a must try in pako if you’re keen on Japanese cuisine
Have had 5x dinners at Okami and each one has been spot on! Food is excellent from their broad menu and comes out promptly from ordering. Staff do a great job of keeping food up to the table. Highly recommended
