Review Seed Clare Valley - Clare

Visited Mr Mick for lunch, was slightly crowded and thankfully we did managed to get in without a reservation. Ordered the pork, lamb and patatas and churros. Love how the food here is fusion. I believe the pork belly was cooked in a style which has Chinese influence and served with plum sauce. Love the patatas. The menu is great and offers suggestions on the type of wine to pair.

Very nice and relaxing place! The wines were amazing and at an affordable price the staff was very friendly. Definitely one of the best winery in Clare valley!

We had a brilliant meal here! The food was all delicious (we had 8 dishes including dessert 🙈), the wines were easy drinking and I liked more than I usually do which meant we bought some to take away. Lauren and James were very attentive and lovely- great staff! The setting was relaxed and the night overall really good :-) I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Best dining experience I've had. We have several severe food allergies in our family, but Mr Mick's told us "not a problem, we can certainly accommodate." Online bookings are easy, we phoned to discuss the menu and they were very friendly & helpful. Beautiful grounds; a warm, sincere welcome. Customer service is superb, but the food... OMG. Sublime. We had the Chef's Selection (6 courses) and it begins with Delicious. Each course more sensational, more pleasurable and stimulating to the palate, culminating in an absolutely sinfully dessert. We will certainly come again. And again.

Gorgeous outside garden, very dog friendly. We had the feed me menu and the accompanying wines. It isn't quite fine-dining food/wine, but really delicious and varied, and almost unbelievable value for money given the setting. The service was amazing too - such a lovely lady (unfortunately can't remember her name!)

Did the Riesling Trail ride with friends between Auburn and Clare. We stopped by cafès instead wineries. We went in Mr. Mick as we arrived in Clare in the late afternoon and some cafès are closed. It was fully booked at the indoor dining area. The very friendly staff members managed a table outside near the fireplace for us even we just want snacks and coffee. Foods are very good too! If you like wine tasting with good food and great services. You definitely should try Mr. Mick. But make sure you book your table as it looks very busy on the weekend.

Unfortunately really disappointed with our lunch today - We sat down for the chef selection with wine pairing. Several of the dishes were very much under seasoned, beef dish over cooked, other dishes very much under done. Descriptions of food and wine were almost none existent - A very important factor if you're paying for a premium "pairing". It was a very disappointing experience as we did hear such good review about.

Hands down the best dining experience I have had anywhere. Simply incredible service and attention to detail, the food is mind-blowingly delicious, and the gins are fantastic! Great wine list too, and regularly changing, so there is always something new to try. Seed is a truly exciting five star dining experience that indulges all of the senses. How fortunate are we, that Seed Winehouse + Kitchen is nestled in at the northern end of the main street, right here in Clare?! I always feel such delight in taking family, friends and business colleagues to seed - there is no better space to unwind and enjoy each other's company whilst relishing in the stellar seed experience.

Last night I hosted my fellow Nuffield scholars (from around the world and Oz) at Seed restaurant and we had the most AMAZING degustation built around the wood grilled octopus, slow cooked lamb and the most incredible spatchcock...I eat at Seed often and always the food is incredible, but last nights feast was out of this world and my fellow scholars have left experiencing the very best of the clare valley ...thankyou so much Guy and Candice and staff, world class food and service !!!

We booked st the last minute and was warmly welcomed. The place is brilliant with a great atmosphere. The staff and service was first class. We had the duck which was divine. Our wonderful waiter (whom I am embarrassed to say, I did not ask his name, but a great moustache). Well he was great, gave a selection for our current fussy 10 year old. Could not talk up the service here enough! Walked in with no booking on a night they were heavily booked, the staff happily found a table for us straight away and were lovely. Can not say how refreshing it is when both the bar and front of house staff clearly have great knowledge of their menu. Would happily travel again to visit this gem!

You can travel around and you won't find better than Seed, the food is just so delicious, the attention to detail from the warm, homily ambiance to the impeccable, friendly service. You are made to fell like you are the only ones there and that they are genuinely happy to see you. From cocktails and drinks at the bar to a fantastic degustation experience it caters for all, best place to be on a cold winters evening.

Thanks Candice and staff for an amazing epicurean adventure. The food and wine were amazing, the atmosphere beautiful. The shared table experience was a hit for my group dinner. I would highly recommend a visit. I look forward to visiting Clare again and sitting down to an amazing dining experience.

Absolutely loved our evening. The best Gin experience and great food. One of my favourite restaurants in South Australia. Excellent, efficient and friendly service from all the staff. We will be back. �

Absolutely beautiful food and great service....in fact so good we went back again for two dining experiences over Easter. One of the best resteraunts in rural Aust. Highly recommend Seed Winehouse + Kitchen.

Can't talk this place up enough!! Food was amazing and the wine pairing was great! Better than a few hatted restaurants in Sydney that I've been to recently. Service was fantastic and didn't feel rushed out of there even for a 8pm reservation. Left at 1 1.30 pm!!!! Also got to try Jim Barry's new wine, Assrytiko, with the squid ink linguini and crab......����.

We didn't eat here this time but had a few drinks including a Margarita.... I'm not sure why they don't have normal favourites on the cocktail menu but the Margarita I had was the best one I have ever had!!! I have had quite a few. Will be our first stop when back in Clare �

Fabulous service with food to die for. The staff are very knowledgable and attentive. Excellent wine list with amazing dishes to compliment each other.

The most amazing food with tastebuds exploding, with each dish full of freshness and flavors. Briliant friendly professional services. I totally recomend booking here when in Claire
