Review Miss Chow's - Claremont

Neatly tucked away in the arcade just behind Claremont Quarter lies Miss Chow's Chinese.... We were unable to find takeaway Chinese nearby.... but then up popped Miss Chow's... The food came in delightful containers, was fresh-tasting and yummy.. Everyone enjoyed their choice of Beef chows, special fried rice etc. Not a large cafe/ restaurant.. but the table options certainly looked pleasing..and the staff were quite professional, attentive and friendly!😇😊

Attended the Bottomless Dumplings & Drinks event and it definitely did not disappoint! Food was incredible and service was amazing, would’ve liked some cocktails on the menu but other than that we will definitely come back again ☺️

The food was delicious but the prices were unjustified. Rather expensive for very small portions. The customer service wasn’t very good either. We had to ask the same questions/requests 3 or 4 times before anyone would action it (ice, more water, more sauce etc.) The decor and atmosphere was amazing though.

Really disappointed with the quality of dumplings. I ordered the Angus Beef as well as the Chicken and Mushroom. Both were really dry and weren’t pleasant. The accompanying sauce was really watery with no spice. I had heard such great things about this place so this was really disappointing.

If I could give a minus rating then that would have been most appropriate. We went for my birthday dinner and they completely ruined it for me. The lobster fried rice was the most disgusting thing I ever had. It was a small bowl with shredded bits of only minute quantities of lobster with uncooked , hard rice. The dish was completely inedible and cost $37 for a tiny bowl! We ordered three of these for our group of 6 and despite telling the staff there was no apology , no refund for at least one of the dishes. Unprofessional. Would expect better quality of food and service from a food court chinese joint !

Absolutely perfect. Have been with family and on my own and the staff were awesome - engaging and knowledgeable. Also have an exceptional wine list. Am bookmarking this for future Perth visits.

I was really looking forward this but I have to say it was disappointing. My friends and I bought tickets to a bottomless dumpling and drinks event. It was on the pricier side for a bottomless event so I was looking forward to a great afternoon. I unfortunately found the service to be slow. I understand staff shortages are everywhere right now due to covid but they should have limited bookings to what they could manage. The drinks service was disappointing. We ordered a round of drinks at least 25 mins before end of service, then again at 15 mins before end of service when we were approached by a waitress announcing last drinks. Neither of these drinks arrived and end of service came and went. We felt like we were being avoided. Eventually the waitress who took the last order was cleaning a table nearby and we asked where our drinks were and she just said “yeah ok” and she walked off. Then someone came out with 2 not 3 drinks. Said nothing and just put the drinks on the table and walked off. Unbelievable.

Our experience was a great disappointment. We booked for a $89 per head dumpling and drinks 90 minute lunch. After 35 minutes we had only had 2 spring rolls each. We complained and finally got some but not all of the advertised food. It was poorly managed. (Other guests were well fed and walking out with take away cocktails, drinking them in public toilet and at bus stop).
