Their menu is quite extensive covering chicken, beef, fish, kangaroo and crocs. They have alcoholic milkshake too! We had takeaway Aussie Battler and Battler's wife burger with a side of chips. Food was prepared in a timely manner and taste good.
We came here with a Scoopon and really enjoyed it. It’s a small shop, but with a big menu of burgers. The shop itself has a really cute outback look and feel. The burger patties were lean but tasty and not dry. The toppings were fresh and good quality. The buns were up to the task of holding in the burgers (no flimsy brioche here). The best part was the tasty home made sauces, I’m a sucker for a good dip for my chips! Chips were pretty standard but properly cooked and well salted. We are already planning which burger to try next time
Burgers were good. Fresh, tasty and done in a classic way. Chips were fresh. They should invest in an air conditioner for guests. Sweating while eating a burger is a bit uncomfortable
Great burgers! I had been here before only once and hadn't been back. I remember it being good but was around the time when everyone was opening a 'just like your Mum makes' burger place, now American burgers are all the rage and Bilby's is a nice change from the new norm. I had a voucher so ordered the Aussie Battler add cheese (only 50c!) and chips. The burger was perfect, the relish wasn't too overpowering but enough to make an impact, the patty wasn't so thick you can't get your mouth, around it and the salad and bun were a great accompaniment. I don't normally like mixed lettuce leaves but in this case I enjoyed - same can be said for the thick sunflower/multigrain bun. The chips were good too - hand cut, which I wish more places would cotton on to. Overall I really enjoyed the burger here and will be back to try more. Nice to see a burger place still using quality ingredients.
one of the best burger places in Perth. possibly the tastiest veggie patty I've ever had, perfectly seasoned, soft and creamy, delicious relish and fresh salad. opted out of the Mayo as I don't like it. only criticism of mine was that the bun was a little dry, but have had consistently good burgers here so a well deserved 5 from me.
Burgers here are fresh and huge. Particularly I liked the bun! Although not as flavourful as some of the other burgers out there, the burgers here tend to taste more pure without having all the added seasonings. I recommend getting the mushroom eggplant burger if you want to try the vego option!
Yum I love burgers. But who doesn't! The red eye is perfect. Steak. I love steak. Who doesn't apart from vegos!? This is a great filling hangover curing burger. Full of great ingredients and flavour
Nice burger but not super tasty like many of the good burger joints these days. The meat is lean, so less flavour, but there's nothing else bad to say - well priced, fresh and good selection. Great chips.
I'd like to think that I'm quite a seasoned burger lover, I've crossed this sunburnt country and eaten every burger along the way. I could go on about Bilby's, about their succulent patties, their fresh salad ingredients, their crisp chips - but you really have to try it to believe it. Despite the questionable value of their "meal deals", Bilby's gets a solid 6/5 from me. Best burgers in Australia.
Bilbys is a cute little Australiana burger joint. They're cheaper than the chains like jus and grill'd but I don't think the burgers are as tasty. In saying that, the burgers we had were all good and the chips and aioli were nice. I love that they serve all the burgers with Minties !
Come for the burgers! Don't worry about the unhappy service. When you make burgers this good you don't need to smile. We feed a family of 5 (including 3 teenage boys) for under $50.00. Hard to do a takeaway for us at this price and you feel satisfied.
Good honest burger good value nice chips and dipping sauces definitely worth a visit
Pretty good. A bit on the expensive side but worth it for the taste and quality. sometimes the patties can be a bit soft so the owners should take note of this.
Perth's original gourmet burgers. In my mind, they sold the original gourmet burger in Perth (but I could just be sheltered). They have been my preferred burger provider since they opened by the site of the original Jesters pie shop. I still cannot go past the Kingpin. If they returned to adding a few herbs to their chips I would be a weekly diner.

Amazing burgers!!!!. The beef burgers here are delicious. They're made with fresh, quality ingredients, the patties are chargrilled, bursting with flavour and so juicy. Better than Grill'd burgers which can be dry, tasteless & unsatisfying. This was the first gourmet burger joint, years ago, they're still excellent. Definitely one to try.
Popped down to Bilby's and had the Brainwave. The buns were abnormally huge but slowly softened up as you begin to dig into the burger as it soaked up the juices from the beef pattie. Lettuce was really fresh and caramelised onions were nice and sweet. Would've loved to have had a greater sized pattie though, as although it did carry a great smokiness from the chargrilling, the beef flavour was a little lost as the acidity from the mustard and pickles overpowered it. Great outdoor seating and a nice place to visit after the beach on a Sunday arvo.
Great Lunch. Fast, friendly service with a smile AND freshly prepared food. My husband and I enjoyed our burgers, (Fish Buddy & Daydreamer). The chips were hot and delicious and as for the Blueberry Smoothie with a touch of honey....yum!!! Servings are generous and the courtyard setting is nice too.
A must-go in Perth. Burgers are awesome and it's a great opportunity to try the crocodile burger.
A tad bit expensive, but super delicious and worth the money. Definitely worth a drive to go get it. The only issue I have is that they close too early, no one wants .to eat a burger at 6pm. It's either we support true aussie places like this, or we will lose not only our culture, but also be stuck between Maccas and HJs, both of which should be banned.

Delish!. Went this evening with a coupon, and I was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the burgers! The girl who served us was friendly, even though it was near closing time. I'll be back to try the other burgers! Yum Yum Yum!

Simple and nice. Had their battlers burger. It was juicy and nice. Even their chips are nice too. Perth best kept secret due to the location.
Borderline lunch bar/up market. I like this place. The servings are big, the ingredients are fresh, the burgers are original and tasty. There's none of that crap in trying to attract the younger hip generation. Except my only complaint - it was almost impossible to fit my burger into my mouth! I'd recommend sharing the chips between two people, after having the burger I barely had space for chips. Their lean beef patty is awesome, I love onions.
Nice and homemade. The burgers had a good homely feeling to it, which was really nice and different than the other burger joints. However, the patty just kept falling apart, which was disappointing. Other than that, there was a nice feeling eating the Bilby's burgers. :)
Definitely worth the wait. Being in the mood for burgers, we had our hearts set on Bilby's and so were not put off by how packed it appeared to be. They had a sign up saying the wait would be 15 minutes, and this was very honest and prepared people for the fact that they would not get their meals straight away, so anybody complaining about a wait just should not be listened to. I got the Day Dreamer, which was a chicken burger with thyme, garlic, cheese, tomato, bacon and avocado, and it was just a good burger with varied ingredients that I wouldn't have put in myself at home. The burger was a tad dry, but it didn't affect the overall experience. I also thought the chips were very nice, especially dipped in aioli. And the banana-caramel milkshake just topped it all off!
Simple yet delicious. A local gem. burgers are really great, give the metro a shot. chips are a little bland on their own but pair them up with one of the many dips available and they're great. great value
Great burgers and chips in a quiet location. This place is definitely the place to go for exotic burgers such as crocodile, kangaroo or camel. Came here for dinner and although it is located in a secluded place, it makes a great place where you don't want too many diners or a noisy environment.
Service was friendly and the guy behind the counter, which i presumed was the owner, even took the time to describe in detail all the burgers on the menu and chatted with us.
Ordered the camel-lot, jumping jack and a large chips and was very pleased with the quality of the food and they are pretty much healthy too!

Not cool, just great burgers. If you're looking for a "cool" experience fwith trendy staff in a groovy joint, then keep walkin'. The original and (I think) the best burgers are still at Bilbys. Yes it's daggy, no you wouldn't really want to eat in, but if you're up for the best burgers getting around then look no further. You can't go past the Aussie Battler or the King Pin - the buns are great, always toasted well and the patties are still the biggest and tastiest on the block. I've tried Jus, Grill'd, Flipside... they're all way cooler, nicer decor, better menus, cuter staff, more options. At the end of the day though, Bilbys kicks them all to the curb.
Plenty of options. A laid-back mom-n-pop type burger joint with a charming owner and a huge variety of burgers. I would have preferred a slightly firmer beef patty but didn't mind as my juicy peppercorn burger didn't fall apart on me. I'll definitely be back to check out the other options. Oh, and as a bonus - they do BYO too.
Fresh and Homely. Our orders were taken very quickly and were served to us even quicker. Went with the vegetarian "country bumpkin" and the boy a hot and spicey "daredevil" the latter did indeed live up to its name. The vegie pattie was very dry but the taste was a nice change to all the over patties that taste alike. Not a gourmet burger but a very filling, very tasty one. Have to go back and try the field mushroom.
Lunch today at Bilbys, will definitely b going back to try more selections from there menu. Had the metro burger and loved the way the flavours of the caramelized onion capsicum and fetta tasted with the juicy lean beef patty with fresh lettuce. Delicious.

Great Value for Money. What a weird place to set up a Hamburger Bar. Well, I've been on a Hamburger thing lately and was told about this place some time ago. Had a burger there about 2 years ago and was very happy but I forgot it was there and frankly forgot how to get there again. Went looking a few days ago and found it. I went back and had the, well, Aussie style burger with egg, beet-root and trimmings. Loved it!!! It was like a time warp, going back to a burger joint back in Brisbane in 1981 when I just arrived in Aus. Loved it and really a shame it is where it is. But then...
Good and cheap. I had their camel-lot burger and boy it was good! Camel meat is a bit tough by nature but i have no problems devouring the whole thing.
The buns are good too - didn't get soggy too fast. They play such a big role in burgers.
My partner had humdinger and said it was good too. He prefers other burger joints but I'm already making plans to try their crocodile burger. I say Bilby's is one of my top three burger joints!
Best Burgers Ever!. After reading the reviews on here and also on some perth food blogs, when we found ourselves nearby, obviously we were very keen to give it a try.

We ordered 2 King Pins and they were massive. I also foolishly ordered a regular chips to go along with it which were crunchy and perfect.
There were the best burgers we'd had in a long time!! The salad wasnt the only thing filling the rolls which is usually the case with burgers. It wasnt greasy or over cooked and it wasn't loaded with mayo. It had the right combination of everything. What more could you ask for?
We dined outside and its a nice little area to sit back and relax and enjoy the awesome food. We'll definetly be back!
Cheap. Tasty. Not greasy. Awesome bun. Great variety of burgers. Only critical point is the burgers ordered were too wet. Too much tomato sauce and mayo. But this is a small point. A scotch fillet burger for $12 is awesome value. Will go back again.
Great lunch combo. Have been here a couple of times for lunch with a group from work. Small courtyard out the back is a great place to eat on mild days.
Usually go for the basic chicken or beef burgers as they offer a combo of 4 burgers + 2 large chips for $30. Makes it good value for lunch and you even get minties at the end.
Not to bad. Quite good large burgers, best burger is the jumpin jack burger for sure. hope you get bilby's on a good day and get a full steak instead of one half the size of the bun
Pretty good. Not as good as I had hoped - but the burger selection is good, the pricing is VERY good, and they make a quality product very quickly - even has a range of Gluten free if you're that way inclined.
I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't avoid it either ( unlike other burger places in Perth.)
Burgers galore. One of the best hidden secret in perth.. best burger in town I think! They offer pretty much every burger you can think of! My man loves this place so much!
Bilby’s offers a solid burger offering with a delicious bun filled with seeds and a tasty beef patty with “gourmet” ingredients like feta and sundried tomato pesto. The feta provides a salty kick but is kept in moderation while the pesto provides a moistness in the burger. It’s amply filled with salad and other ingredients and will leave you full and satisfied. The chips are quite standard and I did eat them at the end so they had gone a little soggy but they were nice. I did get some crisp ones but I thought they could have been crisper overall and needed a little more salt. With quite a range to choose from, Bilby’s offers tasty burgers at excellent prices.
