Simple place, but good. I had a standard Caesar salad, better than the last few I've had. Wife had the special hot dog, which was excellent. Kid had some chips, which were average, but still fine and super cheap for the quantity.
Monsis is a phenomenal place. Great coffee/food, great people and a general good vibe. Spread the word; Raj is back and running a tight ship with a couple new faces including the new barista Juliette from Amsterdam. She makes feel good coffee and has the smile to match! Come down and even grab my favourite, the chilean hotdog, you wont regret it! Get amongst it!
Delightful human beings run this unpretentious, calm cafe which is just out of the Claremont hub. The mocha, served in a mug, was excellent.
We have a mug of skinny flat white and a savoury muffin here on a regular basis. Good coffee, muffin and great service! Very convenient location and speedy service.

Most enjoyable breakfast. 4 of us had a really lovely breakfast on Saturday morning. Chanced upon this lovely cafe & were pleased we did. Staff were very helpful and adjusted menu to accommodate food allergies & preferences. Monsi's Palta was yummy.

Friendly service, limited but tasty options for vegans. Monsi's staff are always very friendly and happy to help. They make delicious custom salads for a very reasonable price and have recently started selling a handful of tasty raw/vegan treats. Because of this we really enjoy dropping by Monsi's for lunch. I would recommend it to any vegan in the area who wants a quick bite to eat :)

After searching for not only Perth's best coffee but also coupled with Perth's best service, finally a café that offers both.
Not only does Monsi's Chilean inspired dished that are clearly designed and prepared by an extremely talented chef tantalise the taste buds but that feeling of that Monsi's gives when you walk through the door is exactly that of calling into a mates place for a quick coffee.
Kudos to Andy and his team for consistently doing a fantastic job.

WOW!. Went here for a late brekky on a rainy midweek morning.
But my bleak looking Tuesday was brightened by a delicious mugachino, amazing chorizo omelette and amazing service from very friendly staff! Definitely going back soon! :)

it took a little while for our order to be served but considerable when I happened to know that a single person was doing as an all-rounder(cooking,plating,,washing, serving...OMG ......(I had been through to the kitchen to the restroom..) . I'm cook by profesion, but never experienced a person with that gear... well done.

Awesome. Andrew and his team provide the friendliest service in Perth by far! The food is not only delicious but also very affordable. My wife and I haven't gone to another café since we discovered this place, because there's just no point! Add to that the fact that most cafés in Claremont don't even open until 8AM (thereby shunning the earlybirds), you'll find this wonderful café your next regular haunt. Introduce yourself the first time you go, and chances are Andrew will remember your name from then on. I guarantee you'll remember his! A+++

This lovely cafe has to be one of the friendliest with genuine great service in Perth. In fact, a lot of cafes need a training session from Andrew and his team in hospitality! Had a yummo lunch today, not to mention divine mochas, made just as we requested. The entire team are so welcoming and obliging. Not to mention the fuss they always make of Sidney and Cosmo, who have advised this is their fav place to have a "puppacino". Do yourself a favour and visit Andrew at Monsi's.

Friendliest staff I have encountered in a long time and great service too, love that they kept coming to update us in how long our breakfast would be and that they came to see if we were happy with our breakfast.
Great coffee, large serves. Had a voucher for breakfast and ordered extra's that they would not take money for.

The service is second to none. And there coffee blend is awesome.
My wife and myself drive there from the base of the perth hills for coffee and breaky at lest 3 times a week, it's really that good.

Great little offering with no frills, tucked alway in a great location opposite the Train Station.
Coffee was great, breakfast yummy with just some small extras that added to the flavor. As a resident, it's a pity it took me 10 months to find it.
Nice to be able to grab breakfast at 2pm in Perth! There was a great looking place around the corner that even for lunch closed the kitchen at 2pm!! The Margaret River muesli was nice and fruit on top was fresh. If I lived nearby I would go back.
I ordered the Vegetarian with poached eggs. It was the best breakfast I had in Perth. The attention to detail on the toppings of eggs and spices are worthy of a regular visit. The staff is very pleasant and service excellent.
Just had breakfast for the first time! They were really busy and things seemed to be flat out. The staff were very friendly and attentive even though busy and it was no problem for my fussy vegan order. We were happy to wait for our breakfast while having coffees and when the food came out it was all together and really fresh and delicious! Will def be back! :)

Lovely breakfast & lovely staff. What I loved most about the place was a chef cooks up beautiful food & brought them out to our table. No time for our breakfast to get cold or soggy. I also loved a lightly toasted big chunky piece of moist banana bread with organic yogurt & butter.
I've searched high & low for a decent coffee in OZ. I finally found it at Monsi's. Great breakfasts as well & very friendly staff.

Where to go when you are not at your own restaurant!. We own a cafe in the southern suburbs and our coffee is great (we sell a lot) , but where do we go when we are not at our cafe? ..............Monsi's.........their coffee is simply fantastic! Add that to the fresh "Chilean" themed food and the ever friendly staff and you have the perfect place for breakfast (or lunch) in Claremont! A 10/10 from me!

Monsi's Coffee. Monsi's cafe is by far the best cafe I have ever visited on both the East and West Coast of Australia.
Their coffee is of the highest quality and consistancy is perfect. Their food always is of the highest quality, fresh provided with a smile.
I love a great coffee and Carolina and Simon provide the best coffee and a warm friendly cafe.
Carolina is also bit of a hotty!
It really IS the best!. I've searched for the worlds best coffee, through cafes from Melbourne to London. My searched stopped when I found Monsi's Cafe. The coffee is like no other on earth. I have sent many friends there to try the coffee for final conformation, and the verdict has been unanimous! Any cafe will tell you that their coffee is the greatest, however Monsi's Cafe truly can boast the title, Worlds Best Coffee!
And if you haven't been won over yet to at least try it, note this, and coffee isn't the only thing they do that is arguably the best in the world... You should see the menu!

Monsi’s Café in Claremont offers all day breakfast and sits two doors down from the homeware lifestyle brand Laura Ashley . It is a little hard to find if you are not familiar to the area but you can access the car park off Gugeri Street past the round about. The café is also situated a few minutes walk from the Claremont Train station. The café is owner run and the service is nothing short of energetic, it was pretty clear the patrons were regulars to the café and we were welcomed in much the same way. Be it that it was a cold day in Perth the Monsi’s café was pretty full inside. The menu is Chilean inspired and draws on healthy fresh flavours. If you are not really sure about Chilean food think empanadas, chorizo, flat breads, salad and the Chilean hot dog! In the way of a big breakfast there were two choices on the menu - Vegetarian or Chorizo. Derek tried the vegetarian ($19.95) which caught a few admiring comments from people passing by. It consisted of eggs (your way), mushrooms,
Fantastic coffee with really friendly staff. Had an amazing lunch with a group of ladies, with a big variety in the menu. We had some cold fresh juices as well which were perfect for the weather.
Especially the Belgian Waffles, Empanada and the smoked salmon on toast with avocado were outstanding.
Delicious food and an amazing iced coffee. For the dark roast lovers out there. Actual ice included in the iced coffee. The waitress was a bit clueless, maybe new, seemed very nice though. The AC was on a very low temperature, which was a tiny bit annoying.

Monsi's seems like it's under new management. The new chef is amazing and the food is excellent. I think they started some work just recently to update and improve the building too. Can't wait to go back!!
