Fabulous in every way. Great spot for a lazy afternoon. We are real foodies and love to try all types of food. This place never disappoints and the price of wine is not OTT in comparison to lots of other restaurants in Sydney. Presentation combinations superb. For those that complain about the price point go and eat at McDonald’s. Mollie Sue Brad & myself had a fabulous time on Saturday the 17th of March. Mollie will be a 💯 next month, they are locals and love this place. We are happy to drive from Pymble for a fabulous lunch. The owners are friendly and unpretentious. Thanks guys.

This was our second time at Clareville Kiosk, to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was just as enjoyable as our first time. The food was amazing! A small menu, but enough choice to cater to each of our preferences. The menu changes regularly meaning we've had something completely different each visit. The wine menu is extensive and there is something for everyone's budget. We went for one of the cheaper options but it was bloody delicious. Service was great. We were able to get information on the wine list to help make our decision. Our glasses were topped up without asking and our orders taken and served promptly. I would highly recommend Clareville Kiosk to anyone wanting to experience fine dining, and something a little fancy, but in a casual and comfortable setting at a very reasonable price. We'll be back again soon :)

After a recent visit to Rockpool, this place was far more enjoyable in every way. Inventive without being egotistical. It's worth the drive no matter where you live in Sydney, In fact it adds to the experience. This place has put my faith in fine dining again. Well done to the chef and staff.

A delightful little gem that is worth trying. Had the 6 course degustation which is on the expensive side compared to most hatted restaurants. However food was good. It would have been one of the degustation menus that I didn't walk out feeling full. My favorite will have to be the steak tartare and dessert. Not a big fan of the blue eye cod as I find it might have been cooked just a tad too long so it appears a little dry on the outside. Having said that it's still a nice little cosy restaurant to go to with a small group of friends and family.

Honestly this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Initially I was surprised by the slightly casual nature of the service, however was quickly impressed by the professionalism, warmth & attentiveness.
The menu was a 3 course option menu, with something to suit everyone.
My husband and I also added on oysters to start.
Both of our meal selections were truly superb. There was clearly a lot of love & expertise that had gone into creating the meal. It was well balanced, perfectly cooked and interesting.
The interior of the restaurant is like a hamptons cottage, which adds to the charm immeasurably.
This restaurant is spirited & supremely enjoyable.
Thank you for a great experience.

Bianca: Palm Beach has always held a certain fascination for me, my idea of ‘going to the beach’ generally involves some Carroten tanning oil and a good book. Perhaps a quick stroll down to the water’s edge and then back to my towel kingdom. In close proximity to ‘Summer Bay’ is Clareville, a small Northern Beaches suburb with virtual water views every which way you turn.

This is the place to take someone you want to impress! A beautiful quaint cottage in a glorious leafy spot right across from the beach at Clareville.  Inside, sparkling white tablecloths, high ceilings and light colours give the place an airy feel, with a touch of elegance. We chose a sunny table by the window and then studied the wine list. It was international and quite extensive, dominated by French and Australian wines.

Our host (owner) Nathan Boler suggested today’s oysters to begin with and Dame V teamed these with a glass of sparkling Domaine Pichot Vouvray Brut from the Loire Valley. The oysters were very plump and fresh.

Then a house-made brioche landed on our table with whipped butter. It was awesome and the butter was flavoured with a secret ingredient which was quite delicious (yes, we now know what it is but we challenge you to identify it !)

Located in the leafy green and quiet suburb northern beaches suburb of Claireville is Claireville Kiosk, a cosy little restaurant serving up some very fine food. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful old cottage which has seen many different faces over the years including a post office and general store. It’s a gorgeous venue and definitely a neighbourhood gem, perfect for a relaxed weekend lunch or a romantic dinner.

The winding drive down to Clareville Kiosk will make you grateful you have GPS.I did it with the car windows open; drinking in the smells and sounds of this unfamiliar, leafy green suburb. At the end of a series of counter-intuitive lefts and rights, you’ll find yourself looking at a picturesque cottage, sitting opposite a sleepy Pittwater beach.Inside the charming weatherboard dining room is decked out in neutral coastal colours, with old-fashioned curtains, and gently weathered floorboards. Three paintings by the same artist add splashes of colour, and give the small space a unified feel. It’s a restaurant with a definite sense of place - too close to the city to be considered regional, but carrying many of the hallmarks. You select your Three Course ($55) fixed price meal from a tight menu, offering up four entrees, four mains, and three desserts. What the menu lacks in sophistication, it makes up for in approachability, with intrigue being generated by relatively familiar ingredients, from guava and prawn butter tarting up a well-cooked filet of Blue-Eye Cod, to a smidgen of Vegemite whipped into the butter served with free bread.Good portion control means you can safely scarf Oysters ($3.50/each) - Coffin Bay Pacific oysters and Port Stephens rock oysters on the day I dined – while you peruse the wine. It’s short but wide-ranging list, with a bottle or two from most Australian wine regions, lots of French and a spattering of wider European wines. The bulk of the list sits between $60 and $75, although it does climb from there. The 2014 Kate Hill Old Vine Riesling ($75) from the Derwent Valley is round with subtle oak and balanced acidity.

Had the most amazing meal here this evening. Everything about this place is excellent, the food, the service and the atmosphere. The pork belly dish in the degustation menu was to die for.

Set in a lovely heritage building. Food was delicious and servings were generous. We shared 2 entrees, a main and a desert between the two of us and that was perfect. Service was also great.

A wonderful experience! Very friendly, helpful service and a relaxed, elegant ambience. Fair pricing as well for the two courses (all the sides come with it). Loved all our meals from the fresh bread with Vegemite butter to the bbq prawns to the perfectly cooked steak. If you're not too full, the Tim Tam brownie was also divine. Loved this place!

Probably one of the best kept secrets in Sydney. Every element of this place impresses, from the moment you walk in. The menu is impressive, the service outstanding, the food is at a quality rarely found... yet the prices are reasonable. We were so impressed, we didn’t leave before making a reservation for our next visit!

Had a lovely time there for Mother's Day. Personally the course was enough and I left very satisfied but I understand it could be a little lacking in portion for others. Menu is simple and well executed, price was fair as well, for some it may be slightly more than what you would agree to. Overall a very lovely place and I had a great time. Oh and the staff? They were outstanding

very nice, probably a tad overpriced but hey, it's Sydney. it's a cute weatherboard cottage near the water, quite charming. Food was suitably convoluted and impressive sounding to justify the pricing. Also, the staff don't have any clue about the origins of the food, again, pretty standard in NSW. Adorable venue, wonderful location, and having returned for those takeaway lobster rolls, gah!! AMAZING, those are 5*. Just: overpriced. I guess the 2107 crowd are happy to spend the monies.
