One of the best authentic srilankan cuisine restaurant. .
Some of the best Sri Lankan food around. The portions are super generous too. I love the fried rice and lamprais. The chocolate biscuit pudding is also great to satisfy your sweet tooth

Best Sri Lankan food I've ever had. The vegetarian and chicken koththu is amazing and freshly made. Especially with the dhal. Absolutely love the pudding too!
Will definitely go back!
Its not your likely location but it does have some cheap and damn good Srilankan food. Food is very authentic and well flavoured. Portion size generous and Kottu Roti a stand out
A great little Sri Lankan restaurant situated in Westall. A small and precise menu covering some of Sri Lanka’s specialties. I’ve always appreciated the Kothu Rotti from here. Cooked well with all the expected spices. Best to call the restaurant prior to heading in.
I’ve been eating Thura’s good food for over 3 years now and travel 45minutes for that to happen. Never disappointed !! It’s a small shop that you have to get lost to find! But this tells you it rocks because it’s always busy! Srilankan food is my favorite cuisine and this is in my top 2!! Regards Peter Shore❤️
Its a petite Sri Lankan restaurant at the corner but I was truly amazed by its restaurant quality dishes. They've got a very small menu to choose from for a reasonable price but their food is def worth the price. Their cheapest was the rice n curry which i didnt get to try but was the star at lunchtime( that was when i was there). Almost everyone got it and it smelt amazing. I am def going to go back to try it some other day.
Must say the staff were extremely nice and good restaurant quality. A must try
Don't be fooled by the limited menu and the small informal dining space, the food is delicious and servings large. Prices are very cheap for what you get.
Great Sri Lankan, I love their devilled rice dishes and lunch packs! Really tasty and they're NOT watery and too spicy like other curries. Really filling meat and rice. Hidden gem in Westall.
First came across this Sri Lankan cafe when my kids were tutoring at NQT which had rented premises at Westall School on weekends. The cafe has a limited menu but their fare (Colombo mix and devilled chicken with the spicy chilly paste) make a good change from the Indian food that abound elsewhere. Thought I'd add a review as my kids rave about the desserts (choc biscuit slices for $5 each) ... pricey though absolutely deeeelicioussss. Found their blog on Facebook which shows more pix and I think they get a fair chunk of business through catering too cuz I have come across at least 3-4 staff each time I have been there. Have not tried enough dishes to pass a fair comment. However, the chicken biryani was not what I expected as the chicken was fried, and the biryani taste relied mainly on the rice.
Good luck, WSC.
This cafe is not that easy to find if you’re walking around, as there are no signs on the walls or windows. The only sign is on the roof, visible from the road. The dining area is spacious but limited seating so I could imagine how packed it could get during peak hours. The lady behind the counter also works in the kitchen, as far as I could tell, so we waited a bit at the counter before she came and showed us to a seat. The menu is also very limited with less than 10 meal options.
Best Sri Lankan fried rice with devilled pork in Melbourne. Not the best when (gun) head chef is not in though. Hence stopped buying here but recently went back again and he’s back and food were delicious 😋
Would be nice if they can make some better options for vegetarians. Perhaps fried rice with vege chop suey. (Seriously not vege devil, it taste bad) ;)
The best restaurant ever, which I can recommend in Westall for Srilankan cuisine lovers. Especially fried rice and combo with pork are the delicious options. They maintain better service and consistency ever, however they should accept Card payments without surcharge.
Best in Melbourne. Have tried so many Sri Lankan shops but non of them can beat here.
Colombo Mix Fried Rice - Recommended !
This place contains the best watalappan I have ever had. Excellent quality every time I've tried it. Basically all the dishes are yummy. Large portions full of flavour, always served with a smile. Highly recommend eating here!
Great food! Really satisfying and large portions. Tagged along a local friend of mine, he liked the food so much that we ended up visiting this place every now and then :)

Nasi is not like SriLankan Nasi. Too much soy sauce. Colombo mix is very good. Good customer service.
