Ordered the dosa with chicken curry and chicken lollipop. Excellent value and delicious food! The chutney that came with the dosa was delicious as well. Will definitely order from here again :)

Little gem hidden in clayton. Food is exceptional and never disappoints. Have been here for functions and everything on offer was delicious. Most recently ordered Door Dash last night and the garlic naan, butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, chicken saag and saffron rice were amazing! Highly recommend if you are craving good Indian food
Best Indian in Clayton since recently moving here and trying a few bigger restaurants. Never disappointed and the staff are super accommodating for dietary requirements. Be warned when they say spicy they mean spicy!! The buffet type spread they have on weekends is well worth the money too. Also recommend supporting a small business
Shoutout to JB for pushing me to check this place out. I had come across it before, but never got around to trying it out. I went on a weekend so they also had a Weekend buffet offer, which according to the hostess they have on Fri, Sat & Sun. All You can eat for $18. There was a wide selection of food on offer. I chose to stick with individual dishes and ordered Dhaba Chicken as per the hostesses suggestion, also Chicken Noodles, Chicken fried rice and Goat biryani. All the food items were cooked really well and tbh were balanced perfectly in terms of spices. A few things that could be improved were the cutting of vegetables which were cut really big rather than being julienned finely in the noodles. Also, the noodles provided to me were vegetarian, even though the hostess wrote down chicken noodles. Lastly, the tables were not cleaned straightaway which made the place look unkempt. They do accept Card payments and there are a few parking spots just outside the restaurant. I Will surely try the place out again and would encourage other people to as well.
If you want tasty chicken briyani without it being too spicy, it’s the best place! Both my family and friends who love spicy food and those who cannot handle spicy food love it!!
Ive tasted some of the best indian food at this restaurant. Very authentic. Many restaurants tone down their spices and flavour to meet everyones pallet but this restaurant makes me feel like im eating at home.
When you look at it from the outside you dont think much about it. On the inside there is no one to welcome you at the door or tell you where to sit like the ones in cbd. I just walk up to the counter which is near the kitchen, order my food and sit wherever i want. The food comes out fairly quickly given the complexity of it.
The service is good and nice homely feeling. People working here are polite. This is now my regular go to place for restaurant food.
Keep up the good work. Cheers.
I’ve ordered a few times now. Authentic Indian flavours. The dum biryanis, Indo-Chinese fried rice, and especially the chicken lollipops are to die for. Friendly staff. Reasonable delivery. Very happy.
Private space for bar at top floor, all you can eat weekend buffets at $15, private space for parties for 60pax with competitive prices and wide range of Indian, Afgani food. Love the place, food!
We had a 50th Birthday function in the upstairs function room. Everyone commented that the food was exceptional, the menu was excellent, the service was good and the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. The function room looked good. The cleanliness, the taste of the food, the décor and the exceptional service was at a very high standards.Very good value for money and all our guests were left very satisfied. Thank you.
We did a take away.. it was a weekday and the restro was empty. But the place was clean. Someplace i wouldnt mind having my dinner. We ordered chicken tikka masala and malai kofta. The food was Tasty. Although i had asked for malai kofta to be spicy, they missed that part and it was sweet. But other then that all good. I would definitely go again. Worth the money.
One of the best Indian places in the area. Good flavours, generous portions, great naan. Adventurous vegetarians can try the channa/poori bhatura - delicious chickpeas curry with great bread! They can be a little on the spicy side for some people's tastes, but it's *Indian* and I've never had a problem with their heat.
Drove past this place a lot and didn't think much of it until hearing my mate rave about it. The place smells amazing as soon as you walk in, reasonable prices, amazing variety and incredible flavour! Do yourself a favour and order the chicken korma. Will definitely be returning
The small unassuming store-front does NOT do justice to these flavours! This is some of the best north-indian curry i've had in years!
I'm writing this review for 2 reasons:
1) the food here is authentic and delicious.
2) Guilt.... I've lived in the area for years, and i'd never bought dinner from the little indian cafe.... I'd only ever seen 2-3 customers in store, so i assumed that the food wasn't very good.
I've eaten here 3 times now, and i can safely say that I was wrong for making that assumption. Everything was cooked fresh, and I was barely able to stop my mouth from watering each time i've waited for my takeaway order.
Just open the front door and smell the spices in the air... I just salivated on my phone thinking about it!
I'm ashamed that i haven't been here until recently
Have always enjoyed the food here, and biryani (vegetarian) is yummy, and nice people. Also the lunch time deals are worth trying, good value for money.
Very tasty food . Their chicken biryani is outstanding. The best I have tasted so far very authentic
Love it!. Very tasty food at a very reasonable price. Their hyderabadi chicken dum biryani is the best! never tasted anything like it before. will definitely go back!
SIMPLY MIND BLOWING, AWESOME, DELICIOUS AND FABULOUS!
I DONT HAVE ENOUGH WORDS TO EXPRESS THE QUALITY OF FOOD HERE.
Absolutely awesome food. I love the level of spice they can hit when you ask for it.
***** Their dum biriyani is the best I have had in Australia. *****
The paneer tikka is simply superb, tasty. The Gobi Manchurian is out of this world and their best dish I think is the Mirchi bajji 😁
I will be their customer for ever. Thanks guys, keep rocking.🙏🙏🙏
If I ever win the tatts lotto, I will buy a house next to this place and eat 4 meals a day here everyday for the rest of my life 🤘
Best Indian food in town.. the aroma and taste is fabulos… this restaurant has the best chef’s and staff in Melbourne. Must try 👌
We have been ordering for our parties for the past few years and love the food. It's always delicious. Highly recommend them to all my friends and family. Subbu has always come up with good variety options for all our occasions.

Surprised to see updated ambience!!
Excellent service and delicious food.
We went for a buffet lunch and my son wanted butter chiken which was not there for buffet but they prepared it and server it as a complimentary dish. We were very happy.
Great food. Must try the buffet. Ordered take away first time and helpful staff recommend to try buffet. Came in for buffet and had great range of curries. Got a free softdrink and nann included in price and the chicken lollipops are amazing
