Nice fresh juice and yummy food...I ordered twice my juice the first one I just drunk so quick and then the second one I take my time to enjoy each real fruits flavor was great time...
Have a nice Caffe Corso short macchiato here and, thank you Gianni!
I been coming for years i just love this little cafe always!
i loved the mocha that i had here, it really hit the spot! great coffee. i like the atmosphere in here with the pictures of italy, ferrari signs etc!
Their coffee is slightly more bitter than other coffees. Good strong coffee for work. Usually have a large latte or capocinno. The environment is friendly and casual.
The owner appears not to be your traditional cafe owner. He is different in a good way, yes he wears his sunnies ( dark ones ) even indoors. Atmosphere is casual but I always feel welcomed despite them being quite busy during peak times. I haven’t tried items of the menu but the deserts look good. He is also very good towards his employees with his mannerism and tone. Only reason I give a 4* is that whilst I like the coffee the taste appears to be inconsistent (sometimes). Thanks and god bless you mate!
Caffe Corso has the best coffee in Clayton! Breakfast meals (and word from my friends say all meals) are delicious, and completely affordable. The exceptional customer service of this Italian family cafe make it just that much better.
"NEVER FOLLOW YOUR DREAM, my friend...because someone will come and TAKE IT ALL AWAY from you" - Johnny, owner/manager Caffe Corso.
Yes, "The Whippeteers" found Johnny in a pensive mood last Monday.
Johnny went on to explain, how JAMES PACKER had used his name "Caffe Corso" for his own cafe at Crown Casino in Melbourne. Well, it's true.
Johnny's PEOPLE contacted James' PEOPLE. James PEOPLE said he/they DON'T CARE.
While this Whippeteer is IMBIBING this truly intriguing story, Johnny expertly extracts DIMATTINA beans, makes some luscious milky froth. Pours it all into a takeaway cup.
He explains why he uses DIMATTINA coffee: "They've still got the same roaster (person) after 50 years".
How was the coffee? Pretty good, standard. Perfect milk.
Service: Extra points. Johnny has been a part of the Clayton for decades, and cares deeply about
this community, his dreams etc....gotta love him. Great service.
Great little place close to Monash University filled with Italian paraphernalia adorning the walls.
Aromatic roast makes for a great pick-me-up, a few alcoholic options, friendly owner. Decent selection of biscotti and freshly made sandwiches. Unbeatable quality to price ratio. Cozy feel and situated right next to main street.
Ask for Johnny.

Went to this place for brekkie after struggling to find somewhere to eat. We are so glad we ended up here. Easy to find, close to the train station, affordable food (2x egg and bacon on toast, a coffee and a juice cost us $22), great customer service, excellent coffee, amazing food (everything was very well cooked and tasted extremely fresh) and most importantly great atmosphere with the option of eating outside or inside on comfy couches. Will be coming back here again for sure and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot in Clayton near the train station. (10/10)
Cafe with comfortable couches, Coffee was perfect
Heeeeey johny take a walk on the wild side, take another step on the dancefloor..
Best food, coffee and service in town! Serves up a mean breakfast with toast on good bread, spinach, eggs and mushrooms for only $8.50, and bacon for just a little extra cost if you want that and his coffee is the best with the freshest and tastiest beans! Highly recommend you go there!
It's not glamorous and it's not what you would call trendy, but for the past 10 years I have attended this establishment with my fellow stooges (yes there are 3 of us)
and enjoyed every minute of it.
It hasn't been the coffee or the food that keeps us coming back. It is all about character and this little piece of Clayton has plenty. From host Johnny to the passing parade of folk entering or simply swanning by, Caffe Corso is a place I/we love.
The Veal Tortellini in Napoli Sauce was really good...Prefect propprtion and not too heavy at all. Must try if you are in the area.
Loved the gelato..❤️
Good coffee... nice service. Good value for money
