My brother and I had lunch here. Has a sport area, pokies, bar and restaurant in the one place. The staff extremely friendly. The food were massive portions and very tasty. They have an outside area. Very close to public transport and on the main road of Clayton. Highly recommend.

Was in the area catching up with a mate to pick-up some stuff and he suggested we go to the Clayton Hotel for a Parma. Excellent parma and chips and the salad was good too. Took a little longer than expected for the meal to come out but it was well worth it. Best parma I have had in years. Highly recommended. Cleaned up the entire plate!

Very friendly and professional service. My flathead fillets were delicious. The barely there crisp batter over succulent tender fillets. Large chips, tartare sauce and tasty salad accompaniment.

I had my 40th Birthday party at clayton hotel.. Dinushi was amazing helping me organise my my special day.. The venue was fabulous.. food was excellent and the drinks really good as well..they catered to all our food needs and allergies .. i will definitely recommend this place to anyone and will come dine in as well in the future .. Really nice interior, and since being newly renovated there's lots of space available. The only thing is, I've never been here when it's busy, or when more than a few tables are taken, which for most places helps to create an atmosphere. The service is normally pretty prompt and professional, and it's always easy to get a table here. The serving sizes of the food is generous and I've normally always gotten full and feel satisfied after having a meal here.

Used to work here and dealt with consistent harassment. Very disappointing to know that management has NOT undertaken harassment training, they don't ban patrons who have repeatedly harassed staff and continue to serve them. Shocking to know that the owner only supports his staff in writing and not in practice. It's giving he wants to cover his tracks legally, not support the staff he underpaid for nearly a year. It's a shame to write this review but hopefully this encourages some actual change. My former coworkers are amazing and deserve more.

Very disappointing experience trying to book a function. I can't comment on the quality of the food or staff as we never had a chance to experience it. I'll happily change the rating if we ever have any positive outcomes while dealing with Clayton Hotel.

I was there with a large group of friends and everyone walked out with a smile as the food was great. I loved the spicy beef salad and that chilli kick was spot on. I will definitely be back.

I recently had my 21st birthday at the Clayton Hotel and wow was it a special night! Not only was the newly renovated function room stunning but the food was absolutely delicious. I had Jarad and Shelly assist me with organising my birthday and they couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive. Thanks to the Clayton Hotel my milestone birthday will always be remembered as the party with amazing food, accompanied with a stunning ambience! I highly recommend the Clayton Hotel for functions as well as your local restaurant where you’re guaranteed for delicious food and excellent service. Thanks for everything guys! You’ll be seeing us a lot more often, that’s for sure!

Twice went there for a meal and twice was disappointed. 1st time ordered a parma and the tomato sauce was an overkill then only last week ordered salt and pepper calamari well there was no pepper on the calamari and the salad they serve it on looks like it came out of a chicken pen full of scraps. Food used to be amazing wen it was LUNICO either get proper chef's in that place or you will go bust very quickly will not be back!

Had my daughter's 1st birthday party here at the newly renovated function room. Highly recommend Jarrod, Shelley and the team - so easy to to deal with, and they go out of their way to make sure the event runs smoothly!! Excellent, friendly service and the food was great!!

The service and food here is amazing!! I live over an hour away and had a meal once when I was in the area - it was that delicious I’ve travelled back a second time! Can not fault it, absolutely delicious!! I had the eye fillet and wanted to savour every mouthful �

We recently had a work reunion at the Clayton Hotel and I can't thank Jarrad, Shelley and the team enough for ensuring everything went off without a hitch. The function room upstairs was a fantastic space and the cocktail list was fantastic. Well done tomyou Clayton Hotel!

3.5 to be precise<br/><br/>The big sign outside advertising “All Mains for $15 on Mondays” cleverly enticed us into this venue.<br/><br/>With our visions blurred by hunger pangs, we neglected to read the fine print of “Conditions apply” on the sign and menu. Apparently the special rates apply to members only, which we only realised upon payment.<br/><br/>We started off with some Spicy Chicken Wings with blue cheese sauce. Tangy on the nostrils and spicy on the palate, these wings were finger licking good, although the blue cheese sauce could’ve been bolder.<br/><br/>The wings definitely did the job of whetting our appetites for mains, which were the Salmon Nicoise Salad and Seafood Linguine.<br/><br/>The hints of sweet notes in the salad dressing actually reminded me of pomegranate vinaigrette. Whilst it didn’t seem like the conventional Niçoise salad dressing, it was a good rendition and it worked. The salmon was cooked well but was lacking just that extra pinch of salt.<br/><br/>The delicate seafood in the linguine failed to make its way through the heavy tomato based sauce and sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. The subtlety that comes to mind with seafood pastas was lacking in this dish. It could’ve done away without the cheese, or with a more subdued base.<br/><br/>From bartender to floor staff, everyone here was friendly and accommodating, especially the sweet lady who looked after us throughout our meals.<br/><br/>On a final note, prices were not the judging factor of our meals. Be it full price or members price, our verdict remains the same.

3.5 <br/><br/>Came here for a friends birthday, the venue is quite large upstairs with a small deck on the top to overlook Clayton. The catered food was all quite good except for the fish skewers which were quite dry. Downstairs is quite rowdy with a tab/pub ambience . Would come back here to try a sit down meal whilst watching a game

Popped in here to watch the footy and enjoyed a lovely parma and a couple of mean burgers. This place has recently undergone a refurbishment which is super impressive. If you love good food and sports then this place will be perfect for you. We also had a look upstairs to find out more details about function space for a potential birthday we have coming up. The space upstairs would be perfect for any birthdays or corporate events that you may be looking to run. Will certainly be back again soon

Modern furnished pub with bistro/ TAB/pokies separated area; <br/>At a pub, had to try the classic pub grub - Parma and the fish(flathead) and chips. Both meals are good, my partner enjoyed the Parma. The fish portion is huge and is nice when it's still hot in the beginning, but as I'm a slow eater, you can start to taste the fishiness as it get cooler.<br/>The chips are great.

Called into The Clayton Hotel for a quick lunch before my 3pm meeting on Wednesday, First time visitor and loved the fresh modern style of the venue. I ordered the Steak Sandwich and loved the presentation, most importantly the Scotch fillet was cooked Med Rare and was extremely tender. The Staff were excellent and the whole experience was delightful.<br/>I’ll be back
