Review Master Chef Dumplings - Clayton

Stumbled upon this place, decided to try it as the restaurant beside it where we wanted to dine in was close. It was a hit and miss out of the two dishes we had. The 水煮鱼 was amazing! Not too spicy, good flavor! The other dish was not memorable, would not have again. Keen to try other dishes if we go back again.

I injured my fingers tonight with a broken Chair, And the waitress was so rude too! It's not only about service, also about public liability.Your clients safety DOES MATTERS!! I was offered a broken chair. The seat of the chair was felt off, and my finger got stuck in it after I moved the chair. The entire fingernail was bruised. And i do heavy lifting works, it does affect My work too! We didn't want to raise the problem up when that happened, however no one even say sorry! Strange things does happens, the most important thing for us is the attitude of the waiter at that time. She decide to ignore, so i have to decide to get my right. And after we asking for ice to heal it, the unprofessional reception girl showed us poke face. I need an attitude from you, or should we take it further professionally?

Food was alright. But the serving speed was horrendous. They didn’t even tell you in advance that you needed to wait for 45 mins for one “quick” meal… if they did like how they should I would definitely go elsewhere and save so much time… and they missed a side dish that I ordered….SO make sure to ask about this kind of stuff whenever you visit here.

I really like the food here. Their tomato and egg on rice is perfect and not sweet. I have eaten quite a few things from the menu and also ordered wrong dishes by mistake but everything has been great! I did try to call and order one night however the chef couldn't speak English to take my order over phone so I just jumped in my car and drove down and ordered and waited. Was ready pretty quickly so if you do call and this happens, don't rule it out, just go. Their food doesn't disappoint. Tastes like the food I loved in China 🤤🇨🇳

Absolutely fantastic. Restaurant were very accommodating finding us a table on Saturday evening with a late booking. Staff were very helpful on navigating the menu options

The food is okay, but... Seriously, one of the waitresses (Several work there but there is one that stands out) needs to be replaced. She was so rude, impatient and sometimes frankly out of line. There are things you, as a waitress, do not say to or ask a customer who does not know you at all and spends money not only on the food but also on the service (Yes, the service is expected to be good, in case someone didn't realise). I am saying this based on my experience, and I wonder if she was ever informed how the customers should be treated by, I don't know, anyone? How could the owner of this restaurant let this happen? Very disappointing experience.

Bit of a random call in for lunch. Picked a steak, rice with chilli sauce dish off the lunch menu. Extremely happy and impressed with what I received. Fresh cooked meat n veg and quite a generous serve. Will be diffently coming back and recommending this restraunt. Well done.
