We had a function at Fiction yesterday, it was one of the best functions I have ever been attended. The food was fantastic, the service wonderful and surrounding to die for and i think it should have been a 10 out of 5. I could nit recommend a place more highly than here. If you are looking for a function, you must try Fiction.
Beautiful Food, friendly service and the best position in the Redlands. The function room sits 140 people and offers views of the harbour. Great selection of beers and wines.
The food and atmosphere were very good, we had pork belly and scallops which were delicious 😊 lovely view of the water and great service. The prices are responsible and they had bar or table service for your drinks. Overall very nice night out, we will definitely go back👍
Had lunch here with Friends Sep 13th. Ordered Pork BBQ Ribs + really enjoyed them. Meat was so tender it fell off the bone. No complaints from a Table of 7. Great atmosphere with Acoustic Solo Arist doing covers. Right along the water & very modern decor. Staff very friendly + well presented.
Great service. Lovely manager. The chefs are good as the food is always fresh and perfectly served! Music on the weekends is good too!!!!!!!!!!!
We didn't try the food, just came for a few drinks. Finally found a nice up-market bar which has some class to it in the Redlands! Great to catch up with friends for sunset beers/wine during the sunset by the marina.
Amazing!. Went here for the new breakfast menu and we loved it! Would highly recommend the green eggs and ham. Very original and delicious! Breakfast is Sunday's from 8.30am till 11am and totally worth the drive down. Spend the rest of your Sunday browsing the markets and beaches!
Really fabulous spot for Sunday brekkie. We had a lovely table overlooking the marina. Very friendly staff, and prompt service. Really generous meal servings, great to see some variety on a brekkie menu. My savoury mince with chilli jam and dukka was as good as my usual brekkie spot in Sydney.
We showed up for lunch on a public holiday right on 12- no booking.
Lots of eatery options but we liked the feel of Fiction and wanted a table in the shade.
It was busy and you need to wait to be seated but that didn't take long.
Within minutes we had drinks and menus.
Service was efficient and the young lady serving us was especially friendly .
Food was very good, nicely presented and well cooked. My scallops were fresh and delicious.
We moved on but could've lingered all afternoon.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my experience at fiction restaurant in Cleveland. Our visit was unplanned so no prior bookings were made, which for the staff (who were warm, welcoming and very friendly) wasn't a problem. We were able to choose our own table which with the view of the harbor and quickly setting sun was a huge bonus. After we were seated the waitress came and took our drinks orders and we were left to peruse the tapas menu which all looked extremely tasty, so after a few moments of deliberation between my partner and myself we settled on salt and pepper calamari, spiced Pork belly, ribs and the pumpkin arancini. We placed our orders with the waitress and were left to enjoy the scenery until our orders were delivered. Our orders arrived and the presentation of the food was immaculate and all dishes looked great, I was hoping the food was going to taste as good as it looked but it didn't, it tasted even better!! The calamari was buttery barely even needing too be chewed with excellent flavoring. The ribs were also cooked to perfection falling off the bone the pork belly was very well spiced and tasty and the arancini was, although not being a pumpkin eater myself, was not too overbearing with the taste off pumpkin and was enjoyable. Even to a non pumpkin eater like myself. We finished off all the plates in front of us with a feeling of contentment in our choice of restaurant and also the service and culinary delights we had just enjoyed and decided it would be even better to hang around and enjoy the sunset over a few iced coffees which were also delicious. Well done to the team out there my partner and I will definitely be visiting you again

Very friendly staff, excellent position on the water, and the best ribs and salt & pepper calamari we have had in a long time... Possibly ever... Looking forward to going back for the full portion of ribs.

Wow...mega what more can you say! The ribs and steak are to die for! We have been several times and have always had the most exceptional service and food... Yes they may be the new guys in the Raby Bay marina complex but clearly have years of experience. Keep up the hard work... Will be back for more for shore!
Wow :). Wow what a little gem to find. This bar and restaurant is my pick for up and coming, its hidden down in Raby Bay harbour and has the best views. I could happily sit down on a sunday and enjoy their live music, great food, wine and service, all afternoon again.
I know generally people only comment on urban spoon to write bad reviews (and i am no stranger to the critical review) but for once, i am letting you guys and girls know, this place is pretty darn good!
Food is 9/10 if you're looking for italian or Mexican then try Noci or Funkies across the road!
Service is top notch 10/10, you wont find much more friendly and helpful staff!
Drinks 8/10 could be more variety of cocktails but hey, they are pretty good thinkers on their feet even with that, making something to suit a taste, even if it's not on the menu!
Atmosphere 10/10 on a Sunday afternoon, that's where i wanna be :o)
