Review Royal Hotel Clifton Hill - Clifton Hill

Andy Watson
Regularly here as it's my local. The beers are great, with rotating taps - though a little more expensive than some places. Parma rates about a 7/10 for me which while isn't my favourite, it's a solid and satisfying meal. Importantly... The pool tables are $1/game. Much cheaper than most places!

This is a local pub in Clifton Hill that has typical bar food in the bar area but also a very good restaurant at the side. The bar is fine for a drink and a catch up with friends - not too noisy, family friendly and some outdoor seating. Staff are very friendly. Parking is not much stress. Its not far from Clifton Hill train station if you don't have your own wheels.

I like it because of it older Australian pub feel, yet well maintained and clean. As well has having a good selection of beers you you can get a selection of stouts and wines

The Royal is one of our favourite places to eat. Food is always delicious, fresh and a great variety of dishes. Staff always happy and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Great pub... still a locals pub... family owned and run. Good dining out the back, counter meals at the front. A place where the bar team know your name.

Great Food, excellent service & always consistent. Perfect place for dinner with friends & family, or a nice quiet drink at the bar.
