Review Tutti I Sapori - Clifton Hill

Jesse Sinclair
*EDIT CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP* Good mains, pastas pizzas etc the specials are always worth a try, a decent selection of gelati, very friendly staff and atmosphere and most importantly if you see a guy working there presumably the owner, he is one out of 2 people in the whole selection of shops in clifton hill that actually knows how to make a coffee. Some may wonder what i mean by actually knows how to make a coffee if this is you, drop in get a coffee you'll understand after it (warning) as then this establishment will render all other cafes in clifton hill just about devoid of coffee worth drinking.

Had a pizza and coffee here on Saturday. Service was great, pizza was delicious. Really felt like a you were in a traditional Italian atmosphere. Keep up the great work guys!

If I could give this place 1 star I would. $61 dollars and I received a garlic pizza, a tiny piece of chewy revolting lasagna and a small serving of pasta. Embarrassing and horrible. Do yourself a favour. Pay a bit extra like I should have and order from somewhere proper.

Food varies here - Ive had some great gnocchi and other pastas, but its been pretty average on other days. It can be a little difficult to get the attention of the staff sometimes.

A place to lose yourself or catch up with people you know. Mark and his team have created a warm inviting environment. Come see for yourself. Tutti I Sapori continues to go from strength to strength, ensuring that loyal clientele are not forgotten with new clients welcomed.

Used to be one of the best pizza places in Melbourne but since it changed hands it's now just ok. Not sure how it can continue to display the Vera Pizza Napoletana sign. Definitely not pizza Napoletana verace.

to melissa carten, i urge you to come forward with your complaint i have viewed all the cctv footage and this so called incident did not take place in the restaurant. its obvious that your name has been made up along with with this wild accusation. trying to defame a business or an individual is quite pathetic, i hope your conscience gets the better of you and you do come forward with an apology to at least the staff who work so hard ensuring that patrons always leave happy

Recently switched owners. Great service, but not sure if the food is better or not since the previous owner. Nothing to complain about. Good Italian overall.

Under new management. The old Italian owners are no longer there. If you are wanting authentic Italian food you will be disappointed. I think they need an Italian chef back in the kitchen to get it back on track.

Wow! This pizza was amazing ... perfect crust - great topping choices! Staff are friendly and efficient and the meal was served in a timely fashion ... we will be back ... great coffee, wine choices and extensive menu! What a gem ❤️

Great local spot with good food and attentive staff. <br/><br/>Nice and comfortable too which is what I'm looking for a lot of the time. <br/><br/>Look forward to returning.

Love this place! Beautiful authentic Italian food and great prices. I had the Lasagna and Mary had the gnocchi- both were so delicious. The atmosphere is really warm and friendly so we will be coming here very soon!!

Awful. Ordered through uber eats and for $61 got a half filled container of overcooked fettuccine, a cold garlic pizza and a dry cold inedible lasagne that even my two year old wouldn't eat. We're eating toast for dinner. I can't understand all the positive reviews on here, they must be fake!
CT
Ordered takeaway from here for the first time tonight! Pizzas were yum, pasta serve was pretty small, although very nice. Mushroom risotto was amazing but the serve was appalling, not even half way up the container. Overall good food!!
Frances
Ordered home delivery lasagna, i'm sorry to be critical but was terrible. Just a plate full of awful cheese hardly any meat sauce at all and was only slightly warm which was weird as it was delivered very fast, so it must have been that way when the food left the restaurant. Tiramisu very ordinary too. 😣

Very poor service. Lost our order. Then made excuses for delay. Waitress kept bumping into our chairs and table. Nice schnitzel though. <br/>Will not go back. Don't bother going.

I absolutely love dining here for lunch or dinner but the pizza seems to be cooked better later in the day - probably because the wood fired oven has been going for longer. Relaxed and casual ambience, pleasant service from the staff. A great night out.

Just ordered via Uber Eats. Minimal flavour on all three pizzas. The carbonara pasta had no sauce, could only taste weird flour. Then pasta containers were only half filled. Overpriced food for underwhelming flavour. Don't do it. Avoid.

Ordered via UberEATS. Read reviews on Zomato that it's wood fire pizza but it didn't taste like it. Pizza was also cold by the time it got to us but given it's a delivery, probably not their fault.<br/><br/>Also ordered the antipasto platter and we were looking forward to the buffalo mozzarella and wild olives, so very disappointed when we didn't get it. When I called to check, I was told by their staff that I have to pay extra for those and it was UberEATS who got the menu wrong.<br/><br/>Overall, an underwhelming experience.

I'm so grateful to Zomato for leading me to this little hidden gem. Consistently good pizza and simple pasta dishes. All done well. And service is very pleasant too. Will be back more often in future.

Delightful service, pizza that is on par with 400 gradi without the headache of the big crowds. I almost feel like I shouldn't be raving about them so I can keep this place to myself but pizza this good deserves to be shared. Also super family friendly which all of us with small children can understand!

We ordered through UberEats. The pizzas were delicious... If you're after authentic Italian wood fired pizza, this is the place for you. The salad, which consisted of lettuce and dressing only, was disappointing. After a quick call, we had the owner himself re-delivering an extra large beautiful fresh mixed garden salad... Now that's what I call customer service! 100% recommended!

Awesome pizza place. A total hidden gem. The staff is so friendly and attentive. We are regular customers and we will always be. Thanks for another night of pizza.

The sort of place you don't want to share - because its so fabulous you want to keep it to yourself.   Mark is a sensational host, warm and professional, remembers faces and names and makes the whole experience feel like home.   The food is incredible - the gnocchi to die for and the pizza's sublime.   The warmth from the oven adds to the ambience as does the smiling pizza chef.   Breakfast is fabulous and you really can't find a better place.  I'm only sharing this because Mark deserves all the business he can handle - he's created a slice of Italy in Clifton Hill and we are lucky to have it.

Yum yum yum!!!! A reasonably sized restaurant that feels like it's run by a family. Food was absolutely delicious. We had a few pasta dishes and the salami pizza. Great texture and balance of flavours. Will be back again!

Nice little local place - came recommended from a friend so had to give it a go.<br/><br/>Owners were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.<br/><br/>Food was fantastic, authentic Italian, dessert was great to finish off. Little slow on service our waiter seemed a little inexperienced but it's not fine dining so didn't expect superior service.<br/><br/>Definitely will go again! Enjoy the casual laid back feel and friendly atmosphere.

Food is amazing. In particular the Gamberi Picante pizza, WOW. Nice family atmosphere. Complementary doughnuts at the end of dinner topped the night off. Thanks for the experience.

Fantastic place with great food. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. The pizzas, pastas are flavoursome and the coffee is great. It really is a gem in Clifton Hill

As a local I have given this place a go. I have ordered pasta here the three times. First was good near the opening of the restaurant but the other two times have been dry like it has been reheated in a microwave from a previous night. To top it off the owners arrogance towards it was very unprofessional, with no apology. I would give this one a miss and go a couple of streets up to lygon

Food and coffee is always pretty good, always satisfied after. The staff are great, friendly and check up on you, plus the owner is also nice on the eyes, so thats a bonus ladies and gents.

Went down to T.I.S today for lunch, I had the chicken salad and wife had the lasgana. Very tasty. Staff were very friendly, I be back to try the pizza next time.

With so many pizza joints opening in the last 5 yrs, I finally got to try this pizzeria. Bravi regazzi. The staff were warm and friendly, pizzas were very good. Nice, cosy place. Daughter loved the Margherita and always happy when it's finished with an ice cream. Highly recommended

Rocks in Clifton Hill. Another wonderful experience tonight. Always walk out of Tutti feeling a sense of 'life is real good'.<br/>A long time fav since its opening nearly 5 years ago. Amazing Italian cuisine. Genuine awesome warm hospitality. A place where friendly locals gather in a cosy feel good space. The lentil soup tonight was so good - could eat this all over again - I would love the recipe ! Followed by a traditional margarita wood fire pizza - always consistently awesome - my favourite, and then a yummy pasta. Real soul food. Good quality wine, by glass and bottle - the Serafino Shiraz from McLaren Vale - a superb drop to mark the end of the work week. And not to forget, the Sicilian Nougat is pretty special (at the counter - prepackaged take home, its a nice option as you are paying your bill ! Delicious ) . You will return time and time again, even if your'e not a local. Come and experience a very special experience, you will feel the warmth of all flavours, especially on a wet cold night like tonight !

Not safe for coeliacs - gf pasta not gf. Here is a hot tip - if you advertise gluten free pasta, then cook it in the same water as normal pasta, it is NO LONGER GLUTEN FREE. Thanks for the days of pain and sickness.<br/><br/>*sigh*

This is a response to PD4. PD4 we are sorry to hear that your experience was unpleasant, we welcome you to return to the restaurant, and happy for you to try anything that we have on the menu on us. we are confident you will more than pleased.

Vegetarian pizza topping very sparse.... served a 'splash' of sangiovese wine in a small glass for $9 !. We ordered two vegetarian pizzas for our table.....one had hardly any topping and so was tasteless and the other looked perfect.... Wasn't going to mention it but let the waitress know when the left over pizzas were being collected to be put in a box to take home. There were two slices of each pizza and the waitress even questioned if they were the same pizza. She said she would report it and that was the last we heard of it. Also a glass of Sangiovese was $9 and we were delivered small wine glasses with less that half a glass of wine. Not impressed !!!

Amazing pizza and the ragu pasta is superb.

Used to have great coffee. The one I had today tasted like a very cheap and nasty blend. Avoid.

Love this place. Pasta night rocks, woodfire pizza sensational, superb friendly service. This is our staple local and we love it. Thank you!

Great Soup, Friendly service, Spacious and laptop friendly. These guys have fantastic home made soups which you have to try. Good coffee, friendly service, plenty of power points and WiFi. The cafe itself is spacious and good for meetings and catchups, plus they have some great gelati and of course, macaroons. Run by a local family, this place has been a favourite of mine for some time.
High Expectation
Best gnocchi and pizza in Clifton Hill. Service is fantastic and always friendly. Just wish they were open at night.

Best lasanga ever!. The lasagna here is amazing, as was the gnocchi and the chicken parmigiana. Really well priced and great service, definitely recommend.

Great function this Xmas for our company. Marco and his team provided a great function location and wonderful Italian food. 62 people loved it. We found Tutti's for breakfast...and what a great find.

My favourite coffee close to home.

Coffee is awesome! Lovely staff!
BlueberryHill
Consistent. Have been here now 3 times for breakfast - twice with a Living Social, once without. Service and food are consistently good and friendly. There's nothing particularly innovative about the menu - good, solid classics done well. Good coffee, nice space. Fast turning into one of our regulars.

Thumbs down. Pretty average menu, nothing out of the ordinary. Average coffee, they'd run out of pancakes (how can that be, surely a kitchen has a stock of flour and milk?), caged eggs not free range, staff didn't seem happy or welcoming, corn fritter in 'the stack' tasted like a pikelet - couldn't taste any corn. won't be going back as there's too many better eateries around the area. Can see why they're doing coupon deals and why they don't open on Sundays.

Went to use a voucher Sat arvo. First impression not good as it was empty on a Saturday at lunch time. Coffee was too week for 1 friend ok but not anything special. Menu selection pretty pedestrian. Cage eggs. Out of pancakes, how do you run out of pancakes it's a batter, make more. The zucchini and corn fritter was cold. Other parts of the stack were cocked well. Overall impression, whilst food is ok. There are better options for similar prices with better coffee

Went yesterday for breakfast with a voucher I received from living social and found the food to be great...baked eggs with chorizo, tomato and pecorino cheese... Yummmm. Will def be back again :)
CandD
Absolutely delicious! I had a voucher for 2 and we both had breakfast. I had the Smashed avocado with poached eggs and my partner had the big breakfast. Both meals hit the spot with fresh ingredients especially the fresh bread. The staff we really lovely and the cafe itself was very clean. Def coming back again!
LyndaBynda
Just had breakfast here. Very yummy. Smashed avocado with eggs delicious and so was the eggs Benedict. We will be back. Coffee was really good too.

Best coffee in Northcote area. We live just around the corner from this wonderfully friendly cafe. Food is great, home made and fresh. But the coffee is devine...stop regularly on the way to work because I can't find anything comparable. Staff are friendly and easy going, service is spot on. Enjoy.
Troy
Average. Popped in for lunch. Nice venue and friendly staff but the Italian wrap and cake were both really average. Small serves cost over $20. Too many good alternatives in the area. Won't be back. Sorry.
Tanya F
Good honest food. Staff always friendly and great service. Recommended.
Grazie Roma
Overlooked neighborhood gem. Great for coffee and gelato on hot days. Good selection of Italian food for your pantry. And Marco is a super-nice guy!
Lam K
Fantastic pasta all made by 'mamma'. Will definitely be back!
Anthony
Great coffee and breaky. I be back for more.
Gianni Savino
Awesome cafe that has homemade food just like home and friendly staff that always have time for their customers. Other than the great food they import drinks straight from Italy and needness to say it's a great cup of coffee.
Kangaroosmate
Little hidden gem. I used a voucher to have dinner there in late May. It's like a deli turned dinner place. At the beginning the service wasn't the best after the owner received our voucher. But as we bought some drinks the service improved :) anyway, good food and atmosphere, generous serving size for both entree and mains, despite the vouchers. Had a great nite and went there again in June with 2 other friends- all of us were happy and had a good time.

Very Nice Coffee. Tutti I Sapori has some of the nicest coffees I have ever tasted. Highly recommended.
