Lovely food. Good serves. Staff are lovely. The Indian vanilla icecream and cheese balls in syrup were the best I've tasted in decades. Have been coming here since it first opened and it's been consistent in it quality and staff.

Marigold is absolutely my favourite Indian restaurant in Clifton Hill. The service is good and the place is clearly popular. It's worth considering a booking if you are wanting to eat at peak times. Worst ever Chicken biryani ever. I ordered Chicken biryani takeaway yesterday but they literally mix chicken curry and rice and gave it me. Not even a slight taste of biryani. No sauce no raita. Never go there again.

Fast becoming my go-to Indian restaurant. Always able to get a table in spite of it often being crowded. Great selection of dishes, all done very well. I've had better chicken tandoori and the saffron rice is more yellow rice, however. Generally a brilliant Indian restaurant and well priced.

Has been one of my favourite restaurants for a while, the food is amazing and the staff are always super lovely!

The decor is dated and ambience is missing but if you want authentic Indian food, full of flavor, quality ingredients and friendly staff…this place is the go to place. It’s the closest to a British curry you can get in Australia….and that’s a compliment for sure!
