My favourite place to get coffee and something to eat in Clovelly. In season produce is used to create an interesting and dynamic breakfast/lunch menu that makes the most of great Australian cuisine with a Portuguese twist. Staff are fantastic.
Recommendations: smashed peas, bacon & egg roll, fruit bowl, chai, coffee, Pastel de Nata

Our favourite place to get breakfast in the eastern suburbs. The staff are all so friendly and offer great service. The food is delicious especially the smashed peas. Great vibe and overall hard to go past if you want the best breakfast in the East!
Best breakfast and lunch in the eastern suburbs. An absolute must to try! Friendliest staff and amazing service, food is incredible and coffee is divine
I haven't even walked out of the cafe yet and dying to write this! It was one of the best if not the best breakfast I've ever had!! I had the smashed peas with poached egg and bacon. Unbelievably delicious!!! And the coffee is gorgeous! The staff are friendly and attentive. Deff a 5 star cafe.
This is the place for fabulous food and a great energy in Clovelly. This is the place we choose every weekend even though there are lots of great cafes in Clovelly. Love love love the staff
I tasted the best ice coffe on coconut milk here and couldn't find any better :) Did not have a chance to taste breakfast. But a few desserts are very nice :)
Scrumptious food & juices, great friendly service and divine home-made patisseries, being french I have to say it's amazing to have such deliciousness at a door step :) the croissants taste like heaven! If you haven't been yet, you should definitely go!!
Great service and even Better food, very much a local affair
The best brekky in the hood! Fresh, healthy, super yuumy! Very friendly and helpful staff! Try it yourself when you're in Clo! You won't regret!
I loved the sticky chai !!! Very nice place and friend staff .
As a local this cafe has become my favourite! Staff are always friendly whether it's just a takeaway coffee or eating in. I love the eggplant dish with soba noodles! Honestly didn't know eggplant could taste so good!
Love love love this place!! Your taste buds will have the time of their lives!
Delicious Sunday lunch, lovely vibe and friendly staff, amazing home made chai and the best Portuguese tarts this side of Portugal! We'll be back!
When we visit friends and family in the area, we like to pop in for a snack or a meal. Never fails to please, both meals and snacks are well presented and tasty. The pastries are fantastic :)
An absolute gem of a place! Post swim brunch and coffee perfect! Super friendly staff with a great sense of humour, a flawless coffee and bright quirky decor I will be back!

Best croissants out of France. Best pastel de nata out of Portugal. All house made. Coffee's delicious. For a very busy cafe, sometimes their service can be a bit negligent (i.e you might be standing at the counter for quite a while before they ask you your order) (or they could attend to queue jumpers before you... now that I think about it, maybe I should dock them a star for counter service...) but the food's excellent! Haven't tried a thing there that wasn't delicious. Wraps, bowls, the lot. Very good.
Amazing vegan food!!
The vegan burger is INCREDIBLE! And having just tried the newly vegan pancakes with coyo yoghurt I am blown away!!
My partner and I had a good quality filling brunch, that catered for both our dietary needs for under $40.
Fantastic service and delicious coffee!
The portions are quite big!! Got a steak sandwich along with a croissant and i enjoyed every little bit of it and indulged in something different for brekkie. it made my Sunday :))
Village on Cloey service is always great! You never have to wait long for a table and the food is next level. The 62C poached egg is incredible!
Decent coffee and a varied, different menu. Not just your normal b&e or eggs benedict. Although I did have the b&e and it was pretty damn good.
We went on a weekday, so plenty of room but I imagine it would get fairly busy at the weekend.
My wife had the Breakfast Quesadilla, which looked amazing.

Have only tried the sweet treats here but they are 5 star! The BEST Portuguese tarts in Sydney. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return and try more!
Best brunch coffee and Portuguese tarts in Sydney and excellent service ! Highly recommend for lovers of delicious food . Be warned as the tarts are highly addictive! All pastries are made onsite as well!
Grabbed a 'Prego' steak sandwich for lunch today, and it was fabulous. Best steak sandwich I've had in years.
Staff were extremely efficient, and very friendly.
Bit expensive, but I'd happily go back.
Best meals around the area in my opinion. Great vegetarian selections. The tarts are a must. I no longer eat them (dietary requirements) but my friend buys a dozen to take away every time we go here.
Heard about this place through Justine Schofield, it didn't disappoint. I came to sample the famous Portuguese tarts, but was mostly impressed by the super friendly staff and cute people watching spot.
This cafe is located in the precinct of shops in Clovelly and has a bright and open interior, modern wooden tables and a bench at the front. The counter has an array of freshly baked goods. Service was very welcoming and friendly and got a menu quickly. As I peruse the menu, I note it is different to a lot of cafes with different choices like warm rice pudding, zucchini and corn pakodi with spiced tomato chutney, the eggs on toast are 62 degree poached. I note the bread comes with Pepe Saya butter. What I ordered was the Quinoa Egg Bowl that had a poached egg, edamame beans, dried cranberries, broccoli and fried shallots. The flavour was nice and flavoursome and worked together really well. At lunch they offer a burger, salad, grilled stage burger or a nudie burger to cater for the health conscious eastern suburbs people ;) They also do sandwiches, toasties and kids meals. Drinks include coffee, tea, smoothies, chai, soda press and freshly squeezed juices.
I enjoyed visiting this relatively new local! The breakfast menu is well varied and delicious (can't vouch for the lunch menu yet!) and the portuguese tarts are excellent. Coffee is pretty good - probably not the best in the area, but by no means bad! The staff are wonderfully friendly.
A great new local cafe. A lovely selection of seasonal foods. The menu changes regularly so it never gets boring. Friendly and helpful staff. Can get a bit crowded but well worth checking out.
Well situated on the main hub of Clovelly village, this is a great little cafe to visit. They offer sandwiches beyond most usual cafe’s and their coffee is one of the best in the area. If you like your coffee a bit stronger then this is a great option.

Love this place. Super friendly staff, fresh produce and really yum coffee.
Their bacon and egg rolls are the best in town!
My family and I had a great brunch here this week. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh and tasty. During our meal, my baby knocked over my entire Iced Latte, and they replaced it at no extra cost, which was very much appreciated. The desserts and pastries all look delicious, and the waitress told us the weekend is the time to go for the best selection! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is they don't have free WiFi. I would definitely recommend this cafe, and will be going back for a pastry (or 2 😊)
The best bacon and egg roll around. They also use great gluten free bread which just makes everything so much better.
I had the 85 degree eggs with bread and pepe saya butter and my partner had eggs Benedict. We came for the portuguese tarts snd some almond croissants. Hands down the best tarts in Sydney. The crossiant was heaven as well.
Good coffee, smoked salmon bagel with dill and pickles (although the bread was a bit hard) and Portuguese tarts :)

I went here for brekkie on a Sunday morning and this place was packed! It's little wonder. The coffee was delicious and my partner had a blat, while I enjoyed my eggs Benedict. I really adored the Portuguese touches at this place though, such as the azulejos napkins and the standout pasteis de nata.
