Caramel thickshake - 5/5
Total bill: $76.80

Final verdict:
An excellent cafe situated in Belmont just beside the forum. Very spacious and decent sized tables. Very minimal waiting time for food n drinks. So much to choose from the menu and lot of options for vegetarians as well. I love that you can walk in immediately, take a table and menu then decide what you want. Plenty of parking around the cafe or park in the forum. I'll definitely be back again to try the French Toast and baked eggs =)
The BEST cafe. As someone who doesn’t like eggs, the “roasted tomatoes with avocado and bacon” dish is incredible. They give you a good serving of each of the items and it is absolutely delicious. I have had this dish at least 10 times and is my breakfast go to. In addition the owner regularly comes around and greets customers and thanks them for coming in which is so lovely, and makes the cafe so warm and welcoming. It is always busy and such a good spot. Can’t recommend enough!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've been here many times before and always loved the food. Their almond milk was always a problem before but they have switched to Milk Lab and everything is right now!
French toast was pretty good, I would maybe like it crispy but that's just me. A bit of texture is what I was looking for I suppose and I didn't get it but that was minor.
Also had bacon and eggs on Turkish bread. No complaints here, a nice simple one and not too much fat on that bacon. Could have been amazing with some tomato chutney 🤔
Thanks for the epic cheat day breakfast 💪🏼
One of my favourite local brunch restaurants. Always busy always consistent. Staff are friendly and the coffee is wonderful. Definitely reccomend a visit
Been coming here ever since it opened and it's been great to see this cafe grow. Always so busy - menu has lots of options and the cabinet food always looks so inviting (including the muffins - yum!) Fantastic coffee and juices. Prices are pretty standard - only downside is it's always quite hard to cut the ciabatta bread with the breakfast
Love this place, generous servings for breakfast, great coffee. Service is good, always friendly, owner interacts with his customers and makes them welcome. Definately worth a visit.
Big breakfast servings! A regular spot for Sunday brunch and it’s busy for a good reason. Easy parking and close to Belmont Forum. Milkshakes are just as nice as the food
We went to Sapore for breakfast today and ended up staying later to enjoy morning tea as well. I had the eggs Benedict with extra avocado. They did not hold back with the avocado and was very happy with the size of this portion.
We enjoyed a hot chocolate and cake for morning tea- the red velvet cake was delicious and had a nice flavour.
The owner (I think he was the owner) was very welcoming and came around to the tables to check on everyone and to thank us for coming. I must say this was lovely as I had never experienced this type of hospitality before.
Can’t wait to return soon.
Good cafe food. I had the watermelon drink. Look very pale red. Not enough watermelon. I did not try the coffee there. May try next time. Staff is friendly and good service too.
Brilliant cafe, with friendly owners, cheap food and generous portions.
Almost everything on the menu is $20 or less, with amazing shakes and freshly squeezed juice.
I will definately be back!
It’s always great visiting this cafe!
The grilled halloumi never disappoints but found the pancakes to be more on the dense side.... probably wouldn’t order them again.
We went a couple of times and all the time they have delivered! ! Service 10 quality food 10 coffee 10 i definitely recommend this place and we'll see you soon again
Busy cafe seated in the middle of Belmont central! The setting of the restaurant is great, the staff was efficient and friendly, the food is probably why I would come back for more. They have a wide selection of food on the menu to choose from. I had the big breakfast, which the amount of food was so generous that literally I could not finished it! They make their own baked beans and hash brown which is pretty impressive. Would come back to try the others when I am around the area.
Nice cafe in the burbs with really friendly customer service - the dude at the counter deserves credit for his genuinely nice and welcoming nature.
On the back of that, I really wanted to love Sapore. It wasn't a total loss but a couple of tweaks could've earned a higher score today, namely the gluten-free bread which was unashamedly Country Life - possibly the crappiest GF bread out there but cheap to buy so seems to be a favourite with cafes that give GF lip service. Also the ham on the eggs benedict tasted like it was freshly-cracked out of a Dorsogna or Hans packet - would be nice if the owners took time to source gourmet ham from a deli if only to justify their menu prices.
What we did order today, we generally enjoyed. The bircher muesli was tasty although they were a bit heavy-handed on the stewed rhubarb which made the dish overly sweet in parts. The fruit & nut toast was fruity & nutty as expected.
Sapore's freshly squeezed juices are indeed fresh. Their gourmet shakes are a heart attack in a mason jar but we ordered the turkish delight one as a novelty. The shake was loaded with nice stuff like chocolate and cream however the actual milkshake flavouring was overly artificial so won't be doing that again.
We were in the area today so gave Sapore a shot. But for my money, there's much better cafes to be enjoyed down the track a bit in Vic Park, Maylands and East Perth.
A great spot and service exceptional- owner greeting us and apologetic for delay in table - breakfast spot on and again owner greeted each table with a Chocolate treat... the best service
Truth Be Told Australia
+4.5
Busy cafe, with loads of seating. We enjoyed a mid week breakfast here. I had the poached eggs, and eggs cooked well and toast was yum. He has the Spanish eggs and really enjoyed them, the pork chorizo was lovely and peppery . The coffee was strong, but left a very bitter taste in your mouth . The cake cabinet looked amazing and service was super friendly. Yes I would recommend this place .
The first time I went here it was super busy, it was around 10am! We waited a very long time, but when the food came it didn't really matter how long we waited. I order salmon hollandaise which tasted amazing, and definitely filled you up! The second time I visited around 11:30am, and was not busy. I ordered the breakfast bruschetta, this was delicious! I thought it was fresh and tasty, however, I think it needed more balsamic glaze! My boyfriend got the big breakfast, I am not a big fan of beans but their homemade beans are super tasty and delicious! Sapore has a good range of delicious food, however, their coffee is average.
Customer service was average as we had to order at the counter. So we came in and grabbed our own menus and had to ask for water. The food however tasted great. We ordered hand cut chips but they weren't crunchy, the texture was chewy and felt like old chips rather than freshly cooked. My extra sides I ordered did not come when my food arrived and after telling the staff about it, I still did not receive my sides so I asked for a refund at the end of my meal.
Overall a high rating because the food tasted good, but service needs improvement.
We had the Watermelon and Strawberry juice, banana milkshake, bacon and egg Panini and the Chicken and avocado bruschetta .. some other friends took the coffee, carrot cake and ham and cheese frittata..
The food was yumm and the service was pretty good. It was a lovely day so we sat outside. It's a very cafe like ambience and we will definitely come back again.
Cherry on the cake: The owner actually visited every table to thank them for visiting his cafe - the first, I've seen in Perth. Nice to know that gratitude still exists.
Best coffee in Belmont 👅👅👅
Come here every morning before work and nothing gets me going like the strong sapore brew. Staff are lovely! In house cake selection is literally the best, the homemade giant cinnamon bun was to die for.... The Nutella doughnuts are 10/10.
Highly recommend for a takeaway coffee or afternoon tea with your friends ☕👏
Enjoy coming here for breakfast always get the same panini have had the milkshakes which are some of the best recommend going early otherwise there will be a wait
Slurrrrpppp! This cafe is starting to become our regular weekend brunch place. Staff are friendly and helpful, service is usually fast and food is delicious. What's not to love?
We pretty much order our usual order now. The big sapore and eggs Florentine with chai latter and peppermint crunch. Food is amazing and what's better still is that we get to bring our 2 fur babies!
The food was very delicious however the hollandaise sauce came out cold and the white hot chocolate wasn't quite hot...was luke warm. I only put this down to how busy they were on the day and would still recommend this place!
Came here again , food and drinks were amazing .
Had the coconut hot chocolate 😍😍 and a juice which were both really nice. Customer service was even better the second time around. Had the grilled haloumi which was so tasty. Love this place 👌🏾
We came here on a Sunday morning , luckily was able to get a table without waiting 😊 there were lots of people but our food came out quickly so was very happy about that 😃
I had the corn fritters and the gourmet peanut butter / chocolate milk shake ! It was awesome , very yummy. They had a great selection of cakes and sweets which I didn't get a chance to try ( too full) but they looked delicious 😋
Will definitely came back here, great food and customer service and lots of tables is a huge bonus 👍🏾
Awesome cafe located outside the Belmont Shopping center. Weather you want brekky, lunch, coffee, the ultimate milkshakes or a take away. Great service and tasty food. Value for money and have great value specials too.
It was my first visit but it's a local for my friends.
Defiantly worth a visit
Good coffee, tasty Nutella doughnuts and good vibes. Can get very busy. Good little addition to the area. Great that they're on uber eats as well.
Very nice eggs Benedict and got hash browns with it which were home made and very nice. Good coffee. Polite and fast service. Got smootheies from here which were tasty. Generous portions to breakfast. Yet to have more than eggs Benny because its so nice and love the pesto touch to the breakfast. $5 i a bit much for a large coffee which is the same size as a regular in other café places from $3.50 to $4.30
Had a quick little lunch out today at the bustling Sapore espresso bar. Lovely little cafe set apart from the shopping centre at Belmont. Lots of fresh items and specials as well as your usual favourite dishes. All day breaky is nice and peeps here seem to all be having fancy juices or amazing shakes. I had a house blend ice tea with wildberries which was great. Decent meals at decent prices. The service took a while but that's no issue as they let us know at ordering due to the business of the long weekend. We like it here ♡
I come here often for a treat and my absolute favourite dish is the corn fritters. Recently I ventured into the beans and tomato and now I'm torn. Judging on how busy it always is here, I don't think I'm alone.
I positively love this place!
The menu is large, and varied. Quality of the food is always good, with fantastic flavours, and service is quick.
I always promise myself a cake (check out the fridge - droolworthy), but have never had enough space!
*edit - tried the sticky date pudding. It was yum. Nearly exploded 😋
Awesome cafe for brekkie or a sneaky milkshake. Food is absolutely delicious, nice servings and the shakes are to die for. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seating.
I love sapore so much, it's definitely one of my favourite cafes in Perth. Everything here is always perfect. The food is always so tasty, coffee has the perfect texture and the staff are so friendly. The big sapore breaky = Best hangover cure ever.
I love this place! I came for my birthday and it's my regular "go to" when i feel like going out for breakfast. I always get the mushroom and feta bruschetta and it never disappoints. The coffee is very traditional and they have a set of quirky milkshakes
Breakfast here is absolutely to DIE for. I got the Halloumi & poached egg and everything about it was perfect. The go was perfectly runny, the flavors of the plate were amazing, the bread was delicious etc. I don't think I have ever had a better breakfast in my whole life! They also make fresh orange juice which is awesome & perfect to have with breakfast. I plan on going here again this Sunday for brekky, I want to try everything on the menu! LOVE IT!
An all day breakfast is pretty hard to find but this place does it til almost close.
I have always been wanting to try this place. I finallt did and i wasnt disappointed. There are so many good reviews and when i drive past this place in the mornings, this place is always packed.
So i tried the pancakes here for a late afternoon lunch and boy was it good. Its not overly sweet like some places and the portion size is generous.
I am definitely keen on coming back here for a breakfast round when I get a chance.
Always wanted to try Sapore with the gorgeous pappafoodie photos that are all over zomato. To avoid being too overindulgent (we came here for brunch after I had brekkie already), we both steered away from the gourmet drinks and resorted to more sensible dishes.
I had the Spanish baked eggs with gf bread and an immune booster juice. My friend had a chicken on sourdough burger?, Diet Coke and we shared a hand cut chips with aioli. Our order came to about $53. The immune booster juice was packed with ingredients and tasted pretty delish. Spanish baked eggs were under cooked though - the egg whites were still runny probably due to the excessive moisture from the tomatoes. The gf bread was amazing but they may have overdone the char - it was quite bitter.
Hand cut chips was a generous portion but not very crispy. A generous portion of aioli though. My friend felt the burger lacked flavour.
Overall, perhaps felt a little disappointed due to the hype but will have to return to try the cakes and coffee. Great they have gf options too.
So after deciding at 3:00 in the afternoon that it was time for breakfast, off we went to Sapore...
And it is always dangerous to go somewhere hungry....
We did come to the conclusion that three breakfasts between the two of us was excessive, so settled for the Sapore big breakfast and the mushroom bruschetta, with the recommended poached egg.....
And coffee.....
and a salted caramel gourmet shake.....
and a salted caramel brownie.....
and then we drew a line!
The Sapore breakfast was pretty tasty, I did think that some thicker cut sourdough would have upped it a bit for me (same, same with the mushroom bruschetta). The sausage was yummo, the the baked beans were a little bland.
The mushrooms in the Sapore breakfast were generous, well herbed and came with cherry tomatoes - which for me, made them even better than the 'shrooms in their dedicated bruschetta dish.
Poached eggs were a little bit solid in the yolk department too.
The brushcetta was super tasty and definitely worth adding the egg to (good yolk porn for this one too). Again thicker toast would have made it better. Was also considering adding chorizo but that would have just been greedy!
Coffee was pretty good and come in at a solid 3.5/5.
Our thoughts then turned to breakfast dessert with the outrageousness of the gourmet shake. My first, in fact my first shake since I was about six i reckon!
Yummo, and if this is the standard getting around, I will be spending a lot more on shakes (and subsequent gym fees).........wow.....
Then, as if we hadn't consumed enough by then.......the salted caramel brownie.....
Sybarite couldn't help consuming her half as soon as able, I, on the other hand, showed massive amounts of self restraint and had a taster, but saved the rest till I got home......to have with a glass of milk!
So in short, save money to go and order as much on the menu as you can......and then save some more for gym fees after the event! Great Christmas indulgence!
Delicious sweets in the Belmont area , not bad coffee a bit to roasted , breakfast menu is sufficient, a good stop off before work............................
Loved my experience here, the corn fritters and pad thai were delicious full of flavour and the service from all the staff was friendly and welcoming, i will be back 😁
This place is awesome. Perfect mix of healthy and decadent options. Super amazing milkshakes. I literally said "whoa!" when I saw them!!!!!!
Always love the food in Sapore and their milkshakes are to die for. This place is always full and busy, but the services have always been very pleasant.
We sat down at a table outside to start with and it became very cold after a while. The girl at the front was extremely helpful, offering blanket and trying very hard to arrange an inside table for us. Really appreciate:)
Hard to believe there's two very similar breakfast places only a couple hundred metres apart so choosing between them is very tough. THE DONUTS, these are a must. Their varying choices of donuts is fantastic, the little caramello koala ones are the best, I could probably eat them till i got sick or diabetes.
Have been in for breakfast and grabbed the tomato bacon avocado on toast which was really tasty and fresh, also a peppermint shake. Will be back!
Another Instagram find, so a friend and I decided to taste test this place out for breakfast. The food was so delicious it was easy to see why it was packed out, both on arrival and departure. The only let down was the time it took to receive my friends coffee. Both our meals and my drinks were served before hers arrived, even after we had politely queried a passing staff member; however there were no apologies once it did arrive (we had already eaten half of our meals) The saving grace was the food and their hot mint chocolate (which I ordered) served with mint aero and mint biscuit... OMG!!! If you order nothing else, their hot chocolates are a must (there are 3 flavours to chose from) I'll definitely be returning with as many willing participants as possible!
The service here was a bit slow, definitely won’t be coming during my lunch break ever again! Waited almost an hour for my food. But I had a difficult order Eggs Benedict with bacon, eggs fully cooked and sauce on the side and they made everything perfectly!
Awesome cafe. Their very popular chocolate shakes and a number of other shakes are a hit. They serve Fiori coffee which is great. Their breakfast/brunch menu is also nice.
I came here a few weeks ago, the corn fritters that I ordered were amazing. My friend however wasn't too happy with her meal unfortunately, but they refunded her money without hesitation, which I thought was excellent! Busy little cafe, would visit again :)
Made the trek to Belmont mainly to experience the shakes with a side of brunch. The shake was all the sugary sweetness you expect with much addiction from the first sip. It does get a bit overwhelming as you reach the latter half of the drink, but that's just me. Food was delightful.
Had a very first breakfast in busy cafe ,after seeing the good review me and my girl friend decided to come over ,
And we order the eggs benedict with poached egg , and it comes with the nice decoration,
Egg is perfectly poached and Hollandaise sauce is yummy ,Best Hollandaise sauce ever!! highly recommended definitely be back
Very busy when I came here on a Sunday early afternoon. The staff were still very friendly and attentive even though it was very packed. The coffee was lovely and so was my raw slice. The food looked delicious and generous servings. I would love to try breakfast here!
A winner! This place was the first of a new batch of cafes an area that was crying out for more than the franchises, and it continues to deliver. Went here for breakfast this morning (one of many visits) and had the Mediterranean Omelette while my husband had the Breakfast Board. We also tried their "cheeky hot chocolates" - Nutella for me and Choc Mint for him. So delicious! And so generous at only $6.50 each when you get more chocolate with it than I would have eaten since Easter. The coffee is good (passionate coffee snobs might want to opt for one of their other delicious drinks instead but 95% of the population will enjoy it) and the food is excellent. Everything is fresh and made onsite. I'm lucky to live within walking distance but even if I didn't I'd make the worthwhile trip to Sapore :)
Lovely breakfast here, place is always busy and great atmosphere. Had the egg hollandaise and an immunity booster juice. Friends had the big breakfast and coffees. Service prompt although staff were v busy. Not much room left to manouvre around tables.
Had breakfast here today after reading the reviewx. Although there was a line and what looked like no tables, the wait staff took our name and found us a table in no time. The food and drinks arrived shortly after ordering. We were very impressed with the delicious food and drinks. Will definitely be coming again!
Visited for breaky today. Both of us had breaky board and loved it. Food was fresh and the staff had no issues with our little variances. Lovely staff and great food with good coffee. We will definitely be back.
Mushroom bruschetta is yummy! We had Nutella donuts which are good too. Big breakfast is great.
Gourmet shakes is over the top as you would expect.
Sweet, filling, satisfying...beware of sugar rush lol.
Yummy! Had lunch there today - wild mushroom bruschetta w/ poached egg and a carrot orange ginger juice 👍🏼 nice decor & high chairs are available if you're bringing your little one.
The bircher muesli I got was slighty dry, but the flavour combination worked very well and the honey complemented the dish👍🏻even though I didn't order one, the hot chocolates looked very good😂
Perfect for all season! Bubble Gum gourmet shake of Sapore Cafe. It may look too sweet but when you already tasted it, perfect balance of sweetness!
Took advantage of the all day breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the speed in which food arrived. I ordered the eggs Benedict, the home made hollandaise was delicious, and the serving size was generous, however the eggs were completely hard, which was a slight let down. The Sapore coffee also left a bit to be desired, for a cafe with Espresso in the name, the final product definitely needs refinement as the coffee lacked body, and had a burnt aftertaste.
Overall, Sapore Espresso Bar provided good service, and a fantastic vibe from a mid week brunch, and with refinement, could easily be one of the nicer cafes in Perth. Would and have recommended to other, and will visit again👌
What an amazing breakfast! Just wow!
The service was wonderful - the girls were always checking up on us to make sure everything was OK. In fact when another table became free, that was away from the order counter and the crowd, they promptly moved us so we were more comfortable, I found that to be fantastic service! (Normally you'd have to point it out and ask yourself).
The food was delicious! And very well priced. Three thick pancakes smothered in blueberries for $16.9 was unexpected (yes that is what Perth has become :O).
Bought a "Bounty Donut" for later and devoured it when I had some room again. Try it if you ever see it!
These guys are sooo busy on a Sunday yet everything ran smoothly.
Highly recommend to go! Then you can sit in your food coma at the movies :)
The food was average, tasted good, but nothing special, found my breakfast a little oily. The service was not great, but in fairness to the staff they were under the pump and this place was pumping, very busy. I think this is why it was very average, maybe under staffed if always that busy. Will try again during quieter period, maybe brunch not Sunday breakfast.
Been here a couple of times on the weekend, always busy for breakfast, service time never too long. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Tried Spanish baked egg and tomato, avocado & bacon on toasted panini with poached egg topped with cappuccino n flat white. Great food for reasonable price.
Really enjoyed our lunch here! Had the gourmet shakes - one salted caramel popcorn, one Turkish delight. Not as heavy and overwhelming as I expected, but very sweet and milky. The rose syrup was extra nice. I had the corn fritters with salsa and poached eggs, and my husband had the steak sandwich and chips. We both enjoyed our meals, although the fritters were a bit difficult to eat as they disintegrated, and the chips with the sandwich were a little too salty. Service was friendly and attentive.
It's been a while since I was here but all I can remember is how delicious the salmon, egg, and spinach dish was! The serving was generous and was the best thing I had ever tasted at that point! I want to try something new next time I come back but that salmon dish is very tempting. staff were also very friendly I admired how cheery the girl behind the cashier was for how early it was in the morning!
Wish there were more cafes like this around belmont!! Apart from sapore and cafe 224, nothing else makes the cut. Coffee is great here and service was good too when i went here! Food is good and worth it!
Took a chance on a table being available on a wet stormy morning. It wa pretty week full but after a lovely young couple offered to move from their table for 6 to a bench area (thank you) our group was seated within minutes. Ordered mushroom bruschetta with poached eggs (always a treat); eggs benedicts; avocado bacon tomato panini, the FAVOURITE Turkish delight shakes and coffees. Service was excellent! Despite being busy food was out within 10 minutes, generous size servings, fresh delicious flavours - top notch! The owner regularly visits table to check on diners experience and express his gratitude for their custom. Highly recommend Sapore for a good value, tasty, fresh cafe experience.
I'll give it the best cafe in Belmont!
My favourite a must go every week! Good coffee, good food, friendly & very helpful staff, and good ambience!
Sapore never disappoints...keep going back for breakfast and my all time favourite the mushroom bruschetta...I adore this dish...only been for breakfast tho...lovely coffee too...definitely a must to try this little gem!! Sad that I now live away from this place:(
Visited on Mother's Day it was very busy but they were very accomodating. The Choc-Peanut and Peppermint Crunch shakes were amazing!!! The breakfast bruschetta and blueberry pancakes with white chocolate sauce were devine, huge portions, very filling. Will definitely visit again.
One of the best places for breakfast in Perth. From their funky milkshakes to their ginormous plates of food. You can't go wrong with this place. The staff are always cheerful and even come around after you get your food to see how it is! I live about 40 minutes away and will go for a weekend drive just to go here.
P.S Go for the freshly squeezed orange juice :)
Came here for brunch. Being a Saturday was quite busy. Got a table in 15 mins. Ordered the breakfast board and spanish baked eggs. Food was impressive. Service was fantastic. Got coffee, peanut butter brownie and nutella doughnut for takeaway. They were absolutely divine. The major let down was no signage stating "please wait to be seated". The staff took no notice of us as we waited at the entrance for a good 10 mins. Major let down on this part, however the food saved it. Definitely visit on a non-busy day or come early.
Amazing food but the highlight for me would definitely be the nutella donuts! Haven't had one since my last visit to Melbourne and it didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere in the cafe, went on a Saturday morning and it was packed. Large selection of shakes and drinks and overall fantastic tasting, fresh food that lived up to the Sapore hype! Bravo Sapore!
Loved this place! Definitely coming back again! The manager was lovely to chat with, great atmosphere and great food and drinks. The portions of the food is worth it's money
Delicious breakfast food! The rocket booster is very delicious and refreshing. Come early to avoid overcrowding. We ordered the omelette was was very filling. Service was good.
A cafe offering coffee as well as a good range of brunch cafe menu staples in a cosy location along the cafe and restaurant strip.
I had a flat white and it was very good, a mild blend with smooth milk froth.
There's indoor dining and of course you can takeaway your coffee that comes with a little gummy bear that was a nice token but maybe a little strange to go with a coffee.
Been a while since I've visited this cafe but I throughly enjoyed it! The bennys chicken n hash was delicious
Came here specifically for the fried chicken hash and was not disappointed. It is sooo great and just the right amount. Coffee is good too
Went in for the first time a while ago spontaneously and it was great! Cute small little cafe, friendly staff and the food portions are decent.
Excellent, can’t recommend this place enough. Can build your own breakfast. Staff are lovely. Food is great. Cute spot too
Visited this cute little cafe for the first time with some friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and beverages 🥰 The bacon and egg sanga hit the spot, eggs were perfectly done, with generous amounts of bacon. The fried chicken paired with the slaw and polenta was suuuper tasty!! Grab the mocha if you’re a chocolate fan. Thanks for the wonderful service and lovely noms!!👌🏼
Location and interior are nothing special.
But the food was dope af! 😍
Great. Love that they have alternatives for breakfast other than eggs. I had the breakfast surf and turf with prawns, chicken and mashed potato. Highly recommended.
