Spacious, clean and quirky with an eclectic vibe. This is our “ go to” place when we visit Melbourne. Great service and tasty at a good price. Hubby had Eggs Benny which had a bit of a twist- served on a potato rather than bread base. The music choice is also good! The Boot Factory is situated in the Old jail so also plenty to see after that tasty brunch.

Delightful Cafe, fun vibe and the most interesting brunch options I've seen in a while. Health lovers will be happy too. Interesting walks nearby around the old Pentridge prison and shopping centre. Accessibility good, no steps.

Amazing food for every palate. Very professional and attentive staff. It was crowded, but somehow they still managed to feed us an elegant and delish brekky fairly quickly. Industrial- quirky decor - lots of interesting things to look at. Looking forward to my next visit!

Finally back for a second visit after 4 years (2017). Situated at the old Pentridge prison. Decor is modern and airy with lots of light. Staff is friendly and service is good. All ordering and payment can done via their online app.

The service was good but could be a bit ..warmer. my mate was very happy with the quality of the eggs breakie and all the sides. I was very happy with the mushrooms. It was so much and I ate it all. Will be back to try more.

We went to Boot Factory on a public holiday and were able to get a seat quite easily around 10:45. It did get busier after 11. I had the Coconut Pandan Panna Cotta special which was just beautiful. Beautiful balance of creaminess and crunch from the puffed quinoa granola, and tangy fresh fruit. My partner really enjoyed his Pulled pork quesadillas which came with a chunky guac on the side. That and a delicious banana shake filled him up. The Choc Chilli Chai was also delicious but had more of a kick than expected. Not one to drink quickly. Great looking menu and we will definitely be back! They have QR codes at the tables to link you to a menu and ordering system, so service is polite, efficient though quite hands off. They seemed very busy but that's to be expected with current hospitality shortages.

Great brunch menu, wonderful coffee, fantastic service. Came in by myself on the first weekend out of lockdown and they were super busy but I didn't wait long for my food at all. I was very impressed. Will definitely be returning with friends!

Loved the look of the place, the staff and the range on the menu, but, wasn't impressed with the food. I got the Halloumi burger and it wasn't for me. I enjoyed the sweet potato chips and the iced coffee and fried halloumi though.

I was very pleased to find how roomy and inviting the inside of this cafe is, all the way down to the little knick knacks and furniture that fills the room. The broccolini salad was delicious. It is always refreshing to receive a meal in which all the elements complement each other and nothing on the dish feels like it is added without thought. The dressing was a big stand out for me. Thank you boot factory.

Great food here, not an extensive selection but the menu changes often enough to ensure you get some diversity. The staff are sensational we have had breakfasts and lunches hete, highly recommend it.

Finally found a place for breakfast close to Coburg. Excellent food and service! Will be back for sure and I loved the decor of the place too.

Excellent menu selection, good service, tasty food and they seem to know what they’re doing with coffee. Outdoor seating an option and some funky tunes playing. Recommended.

Great vibe. Great menu. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. Love the decor. My only reason for not giving a 5 is it was cold. A bitter cold winters day in Melbourne and no heating that I could tell. But all the important parts of being a great cafe, ticked!

My favourite breakfast joint in Melbourne, the thick cut Bacon is to die for.

I always enjoying having lunch at the Boot Factory, food is delicious as the coffee. The staff are so warm and welcoming and I feel at home being there.

We celebrated a baby gender reveal at the boot factory on the weekend for my daughter and her partner. Can not thank the staff enough for their hospitality and amazing food! Highly recommended as this place is sensational

Food and staff fantastic A hidden gem (not on a main road) will definitely be back - and was thinking it would also be great for taking interstate visitors too - being surrounded by Pentridge jail history

Hanging outta Coburg. Visited Coburg for the first time after so long. The cafe was excellent and the staff provided excellent and extraordinary customer service plus I enjoyed the Dirty Chai.
