My Key Three Pointers
* If you need a allrounder this is the best place ever
* Coffee and pastries are the bomb
* I love the simplicity
No flashy decor and not trying to be hip. What you do get is a true representation of a magical small family business. The locals love this place and you just need to walk in to understand why. If you need coffee stop over, if you need to take dessert to a friends stop over, if you need some fresh bread stop over, if you need breakfast or lunch stop over, if you need a deli stop over, if you need a bottle of wine stop over. Is there anything this place does not provide. They do it all and exceptionally well. I love this place and so far everything I have tried has been great so I will continue to get my coffee and cakes and anything that I desire from this place 💗
Fantastic place. Opened over 60 years ago as a bakery. Today’s it’s a bakery, coffee shop, deli and international supermarket. Brilliant service and staff and amazing pastries and coffee.
This bakery-cafe is a Pascoe Vale institution, established 63 odd years ago as a humble bakery. Over the years the bakery has expanded to include a deli, amazing cakes & biscuits & cafe.
Excellent coffee (beans roasted on premises) and a great lunch. The HLAT (haloumi, lettuce, avocado, tomato) served in a lightly toasted seeded roll was delicious.
Staff were extremely friendly.
It’s great to see the Arena family still own & run the business, well done guys
Food that resembles something out of my Nonna’s kitchen. Homestyle cooking, familiar flavours, large servings and good value for money.
I also really like the coffee, same every time.
I love to look around the deli and pick up some old favourites to snack on when I eventually become hungry again!
I stopped by here for a coffee and breakfast and I was completely blown away. Not only is this a cafe, it is also a bakery, deli and grocery store. The place was packed with busy and welcoming atmosphere filled with laughter and love.
There is such an amazing selection of food to choose from I didn't know what I wanted as it all looking enticing.
When I went to order I found it was confusing trying to figure out where to go, then once I placed my order I had to go over to the cashier to pay. Being a first timer I didn't find the staff helpful or good at explaining what I needed to do or the offers available to me (once I ordered and paid I realised there were coffee deals that I would have brought). Though as mentioned the place was full and they were probably busy.
My coffee was average (I probably wouldn't come here just for coffee) however the food was tasty. We had a toasted sandwich and it was mouth-watering.
It seems that this is a local landmark so I would recommend coming to visit especially buying your items from here to support local. This is a cafe, bakery and deli as my grandma would say from the good old days. I will be back here again to try the cakes and other food as well as do some grocery shopping.
With a name like O'Heas you might expect an Irish establishment. But it seems very much Italian.
We've had takeaway from here several times.
Today we ordered a couple of Superbowl salads with additional poached egg. Nobody's complaining. They're going down the hatch with muted praise. Muted by focus.
The steak sandwich was tender and tasty.
My only complaint is the weather today.
Old school Italian cafe/deli that I came to for the first time on Good Friday.
Really love the vibe of this place. Delicious pastries and of course hot cross buns. The inside also has a meats deli and a whole bunch of other sweets, jams, fresh pasta and heaps more!
Will definitely be back to pick up some goodies.☺️
The atmosphere and service is super friendly. Definitely a family close know vibe which is really refreshing!
Really fantastic meat pies (with the type of pastry that melts in your mouth...), as well as old school milk shakes. Last time I went there I had the espresso milkshake which was delicious. It would be great if they could offer some more choice from their clearly amazing baking skills, for example shepherds pie or a beef and cheese pie; essentially something more than the standard options and pasties. Overall it has a great community vibe, with customers who you can sense have been going there for years. A bonus as well is the cute little deli serving organic/imported produce such as pasta, sauces, and other goods.
Great coffee, lovely homely feeling, menu has lots of yummy things to chose from, homemade bread free range eggs and bacon you can't go wrong, I grew up just around the corner it's like time stood still...luv it
Tasty sandwich, excellent cappuccino and beautiful sunrise. Amazing stuff with beautiful and very nice Italian girl. Perfect place for breakfast and little shopping in the morning.
