Fantastic customer service. Great place to get something to eat in the cafe & then do some shopping in the Nursery. Very Boutique Nursery, will become a regular customer!
Lovely place for lunch, our family were there last Sunday. The service was great with
very friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious! Then we had a wander in
garden center, what a beautiful nursery, the relaxed ambience through out and also
the staff were so helpful as well. We will definitely be back!

One of my favorite places for coffee or brunch. The food is simple with quality fresh ingredients, and very tasty. The space is what really sets it apart from other venues: it is a garden and nursery with a cafe/ restaurant inside. So it's all full of lush vegetation with rustic decor. Every few months I get there to see the new plants. They also have a small shop on the back with gardening supplies and crafts.
My friend and myself had never been to Vasilis and decided to meet there for lunch. We both had the smashed avocado. It was delicious ! It was a substantial size, I think a whole avocado and lots of fresh fetta and gently cooked spinach with drizzles of oil. I just added pepper. My friends was the same. Unfortunately their coffee machine was on the blink today and by the time they had it fixed, I had ordered tea. I was very impressed with the warm atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. The bonus was checking out the plants on a nice day.
My friends& I went for dinner there the food was mouth watering. The staff, chef & Vasili were all friendly, funny & welcoming..After dinner we danced the band Freedom were fantastic playing a variety of dance music . Great night . Highly recommend it. We are certainly going back. 😀
A very nicely presented cafe/restraunt within a garden center, food and service is great and at a good price. Pick up some unique plants while you visit as slot of the flora can not be found in other nurseries.
Love this place. Really friendly staff and a great selection of meals. The food is consistently good and very tasty. Nice setting too, surrounded by plants from the adjoining nursery. A genuine Coburg institution.
My daughter & I had a lovely brunch at this gorgeous cafe through the week. We were both very impressed with the food, the service & the character of the building & surrounds. My daughter also bought a great little outfit while in the garden shop. We loved the experience we had here & would definitely return & eat here again.
Great coffee and lovely staff member helped me through the menu. It is nice to deal with staff who are not forever in a rush and take the time out to help a customer!
Great simple and tasty food with pleasant staff. Awesome atmosphere completes the dining experience. Whether it be a meal or a quick coffee you are always greeted with a smile. The open souvlaki was yummo and not overly done. Looking forward to a sit down in the beer garden next time. Thanks Lisa & Vasili
Finally came here for brunch after checking out the garden centre during the weekend. I had the Mousaka and it was pretty yummy. Did not look much but had flavours. My friend had the Corn Fritters and he was quite pleased with it. Pity the coffee was weak......

Amazing atmosphere for everyone!!! Great menu! The homemade spanakopita has to be the best I've ever had, truly an authentic taste. The chai latte was so delicious, I only get it from vasilis garden.

Lovely little cafe with an indoor garden setting. The coffee is delicious and so are the burgers- we'll definitely be making this cafe a regular in the future!

After coming to this place several times and loving it, its Murphy's Law that the day I decide to give it an Urbanspoon review they have run out of some of my favorites (Corn Fritters) and there is a new Chef on.
I think with this place people need to be reminded that it is foremostly a nursery with a Cafe attached, not a Cafe with a nursery attached.
It has that "family run" feel as it is family run and its warming to see everyone doing their bit, from kids helping to polish cutlery to Ya-ya (I assume) clearing plates.
To be honest today's breakfast was perhaps the worst I have had here. I ordered the Avocado Salsa which said it came with a "poached egg", so I ordered an extra egg assuming I would then get two but 3 eggs arrived and I then realized that the singular "poached egg" was actually a typo for "eggs".
The avocado had too much lemon juice in it so was a little sour but in the scheme of bad breakfasts this is nowhere near it!
But please do not let this deter you, it's a great place with excellent coffee and amazing pastries and cakes/sweets (my lady friend had a devine date scone with raspberry jam and cream) but remember it is a nursery not a 5 star restaurant, if you want something "homely" then this is your place.

Staff are very helpful & attentive. Enjoyed freshly made spanakopita straight from the oven, followed by a melt in the mouth greek custard pastry and a sensational latte. I'll be back!
The Standard hasn't dropped! New chef in the kitchen. It's soon to be licensed with live music so It's only going to get better for everyone!
Only came for a coffee and arguably best coffee in Coburg (and i live here).
however, it was $3.80...
bit much but damn nice.
lots of wholesome food.

Lovely atmosphere. This cafe is wonderful. Really great and interesting food and staff were 100%.
Unfortunately it was raining today so didn't browse the nursery too much but will return.
Deffo worthy visit. Good coffee, and great fun wandering through the nursery & finding herbs for the garden. Give your $ to vasili's not bunnings!!
My new favourite place!! Delicious food- we had the corn fritter & the lamb salad WOW! Calming & comfortable environment & the staff are friendly & even let me use a private room to breast feed my baby, instead of the toilets. Which I greatly appreciated!! Will definately be going back & the plant advice is just an added bonus! ;-)
Didn't know what to expect but I was totally captured by the amazing environment. The surroundings are beautiful and the food is excellent and very generously priced. Thumbs up from me! We'll be going there regularly, want to try the moussaka baked in the claypot next time.
This place does an amazing breakfast , you just cannot go past the corn fritters!! Really lovely service and situated in a lovely nursery setting and really well priced. This is a well needed addition to the Coburg dining community.
Great Coffee. Ate here this morning for the second time since they opened and couldn't fault them! Breakfast cooked to perfection and great coffee... I think this will become a regular local haunt...
Ate here last Saturday I had the bacon & eggs with mushies & tomatoes, tasty & well cooked. My friend had the corn fritters with chicken, avocado salsa & sweet chilli sauce and it was delicious!! Coffee was great and staff very attentive. Definitely heading back to sample more!
Great nursery has wonderful food. The atmosphere at this place is fantastic, the coffee great, lots of goodies to buy, organic. Give it a go you won't be disappointed!!
Excellent food & service. We were here for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being amonst a living nursury was pretty cool, and the bacon and eggs breakfast was not only generous in size, but was perfectly cooked.
