Review Pho My Tho - Coburg

Long simmered Pho. This is up there with the best we've tried. Authentically prepared, embodying a rich and complex taste, with barely any oil residue too. It's perfect. The ambience in this small restaurant is peaceful and excellent. We came across it by chance. We're so happy to have found a place which brews broth properly. They also pack it out with ingredients. In the below pic, we had already eaten some of the spring rolls !

The food was 10 out of 10. I will definitely come back and try other dishes too. The pho heals your soul.

This little cute place is a hidden gem for real wonton & chicken base soups. I work long hours and came across by passing by. It’s a friendly family run business so I knew I was in the right place. The food and taste is amazing. Especially when your a little run down and just want a real broth soup with lots of quality chicken/ beef / veggie pieces. The perfect bowl with lots of goodness. Other places I’ve been have no beef or little quantity of chicken and veggies. Thank you Pho 🙏😊I’m coming to you all the time from now on.

Superb Vietnamese and arguably best Pho in the area. Excellent value at under $14 when some places nearby charge upwards of $20 for a smaller, worse quality product. Easy 5 stars.

Ordered the vegetarian pho, beef and brisket pho and chicken rice paper rolls. The food was delicious and ready in 10 minutes! Wonderfully warming and wholesome, perfect for winter nights!

Very tasty and friendly service. The soup base has a very ‘home made’ taste to them compared to many commercial/salty taste. The calamari was exceptional. The only slight downside is there is surcharge for credit card. Will return for sure.

I rate pho based on a few things, broth, meat quality, noodle quality, chili oil This place has good broth but I didn't like the chili oil, there is a weird scent/spice like a cardamom or something weird that really threw me off then it tainted my broth cause I dipped it. The noodles were cooked well and didn't fall apart but there wasn't enough beef for the amount of noodles given. I would come back again if desperate but bring my own chili oil next time :)

The pho is great, especially the spicy beef. Also the vermicelli salads. Friendly people and relaxed atmosphere. Rare find in the north, we come here as often as possible!

surprisingly bad  over priced  low quality bland food, even if your  seriously hungry its hard to eat .  how are they still in business ? wont be back

I love this family run business, we're always greeted with a warm welcome and service.  Servings are generous, food is delicious!  Great value for money! What more could you ask for!

We had amazing lunch there. Beef Pho was so tasty and everyone was very friendly! It is definitely a kids friendly place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Tereza & Lloyd

If you are going to have a child representing your business at the front counter it may be an idea to teach him some consumer laws and possibly some manners. My lunch was fine however that bitter taste I have after paying for said lunch has secured you 1 star and a no return. Hope it was worth the kids ego ant the extra cash. Will be sure to pass on my feedback to the locals 👎

5 mins from home. Easy to get to, great menu with lots of variety, nice staff and friendly service, and fresh, beautiful pho. What more can you want?

Delicious, huge helpings from a small, family run eatery. Very comforting food and atmosphere. Staff are always very polite and helpful. Great value for money!

Nothing flash , simple menu quality food at reasonable price. Quick lunch on a budget highly recommend the sliced beef Pho. For authentic Vietnamese Pho it’s the best in the area.

Best pho! Broth is one of the best I’ve had. owners are very friendly. Ask for chilli oil to add to the pho which is terrific. Ample sprouts and herbs. Got these two takeaway. Winner! My daughter also loved the lemon chicken!

My go-to place for pho. Obsessed. Run by a beautiful family. You can’t go past the chicken & beef pho, there’s so much flavour yet it retains that traditional pho taste we all love. I would eat it daily if I could!!

Really good food at reasonable prices. Don't judge this place by its decor. It's the best. We had pork chop and pho and both were yummy. I recommend this place

How did I not know about this place before now? We had the beef pho and nasi goreng rice and they were both delicious. Service is quick, prices are great and food fresh. This is now a firm local favourite.

Simplicity is good ...<br/><br/>Deceivingly bright in Yellow, Red and complemented by Blue chairs, plastered with written A4 menu on the walls, soft drink cans hanging by the counter and this pleasant girl sitting by the counter and taking my order later.<br/><br/>But deceived not, their Pho soup broth is sweetly tasty, at $11.90 it's an unbelievably value for money as you can eat for two easily, the only note to the Chef, a tender Beef Brisket next time please. <br/><br/>Family run, good food, value for money, simplicity at its best. I love this place. The food is authentic and delicious and the family who run the place are delightful. An uncovered gem of Coburg! If you live in the area and love vietnamese food, you should go here!

A very simple restaurant run by a family with the kids taking your orders. Ordered the pho which was pretty good, simple fresh and tasty. Not the best I've had but a very good local.I'd probably go back again.

Early Sunday evening dinner at Pho My Tho. Almost deserted but we went in anyway. Very friendly service and meals came out in 10 mins. Delicious fresh and plenty on the plate. No atmosphere but Great value. Will definitely be back.

Delicious traditional vietnamese food! Absolutely love the Pho here. Serving size is great and well priced. The staff are very friendly. This place caters to everyone as it offers both vegetarian and halal certified cuisine. Highly recommend !

They now up their pho to 11.90 which okay they could get away with it if they fairly portioned there phone with enough meat.<br/><br/>No chill? Little basil and just not good enough for 12 dollars.<br/><br/>I won't be back again.

The beef pho was pretty good. The Stock was very good. Bit less meat than I'd expect. The Decor needs a bit of work. Good for a quick lunch meal.

This place is wonderful. An oasis in this foodie-barren section of Sydney Rd you can geta variety of realdeal Vietnamese dishes from owners who are always so happy to please, and of course the prices are very affordable.  Make Friday #phoriday.

This place only has 2.8? Mate get out of here. This place is rad. The food is cheap, dirt cheap, too cheap. Sometimes u feel bad for the dude that cooks/owns/runs the place because his proffit margin must be super lean. <br/>The food is great, the people that run it are great (the kids are champs) and I've never had a bad meal or experience here. <br/>Go eat here, it's cheap and good.

This family restaurant has very friendly service and they're always so welcoming! I've tried a few other dishes but the beef pho and bun bo hue are their best dishes. I've stopped going to Preston for beef pho a d bun bo hue after discovering this little gem! Their flavours are consistently exceptional with a nice clear broth. It has a lot of depth without being overpowering.

We are starved for Vietnamese restaurants in Coburg, so I was delighted to discover this local gem! Inside is very unpretentious and no-frills, but the food sure makes up for it.<br/><br/>Today I had the pho with beef and beef balls, which had the most delicious broth - so clear, fragrant, and delicate. The owners were also very friendly. <br/><br/>Coburg locals, Pho My Tho is definitely worth popping into for a quick, cheap, lunch or dinner.

about the only thing missing in Coburg was a great place for pho and this place makes delicious pho! The family that runs the place is super friendly too, and all the food is great value.
