Yeah, this place is a bad look. Was walking home and thought I'd grab the chicken Biryani takeaway. I have been to Hyderabad - the birth place of Dum Biryani. What these guys serve up is an insult to Biryani. It appears to have been microwaved then thrown into a pan with oil in order to re-heat. The chicken was far from fresh and there was a total lack of flavour. Total disappointment to be honest.

We just moved to Coburg and have fallen across this place and love it!! It is actually authentic, like being in India, and delicious. We have been back 3 times in a month. I don't know what that other reviewer is talking about, our experience is completely opposite! Try the pani puri.... DELICIOUS. And they are such lovely warm people here too.
Andrew I Love Food But It Makes Me Fat
Worst Indian Food ever. The name Paradise conjures up visions of delight but I suspect the food and the interminable wait to get it here would be much more suitable for the inferno.

We arrived at 7.30 on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was completely empty so we checked to make sure they were still open.

It took until 20 past 8 before we had two entrees and one main course with a 20 minute or more wait between one dish and the other.

Amusingly the Vegetarian section of entrees had a soup which was described as "Soup (Lentil, Tomato, Chicken)." My wife ordered for us while I was three shops down using the only available toilet at the back of the spice shop which they also owned. The waiter asked if she meant chicken and she said "yes", reasonably thinking this was just one of the ingredients in the soup, particularity since the description continued: "Yellow lentils crushed into soup laced with fresh spices."

After my peppery (probably tinned) cream of chicken soup arrived, I did ask about it and we were told that there were three soups Lentil, Tomato or chicken; certainly not made clear on the menu as a choice and also given that if there had been any lentils near my soup they must have been added in homeopathic proportions.

After much time elapsed I got my sizzle platter of tandoori chicken which was admittedly red in color though I'm sure that's where any similarity to the real thing ended.

The hot vegetable vindaloo (which they forgot to bring us until we reminded them and it was retrieved from the bench) tasted like frozen vegetables in vaguely spicy ketchup.

Everything seemed old and reheated and oily and nothing tasted fresh or prepared with any flavor. Medium dishes were hotter than hot ones and it took forever to get it, which was amazing since at the end of stay we were still the only customers.
