Visited Edelweiss with husband and two daughters, 10 and 14. We ordered the feast plate with a selection of basically everything on the menu. I emailed ahead and ordered the dinner for 15mins after we arrived(as it stated on the menu the meal takes a while to prepare). We were seated in a cosy private booth in the centre of the room, which was really comfortable. It was absolutely perfect. We had time to have some beer tasters, which were delicious and complemented the hot buttery salty pretzel yum! Then our feast arrived, wow. The pork knuckle and belly were amazing. Crackle to die for. Love the beef stew and cheesy pasta, yes! The cabbage and pickley potatoes complemented the meats and sausages all rounded off with the most amazing jus. The kids found room for dessert, which were also a hit. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the drinks, the atmosphere and the lovely attentive staff with their warm smiles and reception.

What a hidden gem! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a yummy German meal. Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Massive booths for bigger groups or more intimate settings upstairs. The curry sausage was delicious followed by the German cheesecake. Family friendly restaurant.
