The kids absolutely loved the pinball machines. Great atmosphere, extremely busy but food didn't take that long to arrive to our table. Music was super loud. Food was average.

Nice food & good service; worth checking out dining options. Plenty of tables, TVs with Sports & various channels & drink selections at bar. Unfortunately way too much cigarette smoke permeating through much of it; especially as soon as you enter, in & around the pool tables- smoking should be discouraged & limited to some smaller airy sections on the other side or something.

After asking another local business owner for a lunch suggestion, they suggested either The Greenhouse or The Hoey Moey. The Greenhouse appeared to be a standard ALH owned venue so went with The Hoey Moey. Arrived at a deserted venue (it was a Monday) and seated ourselves as nobody was there to greet us (the young lass with plaited hair was remarkably inattentive). We sat down, read the menu and decided on the specials. Went to order and was informed that the kitchen wasn't ready to take orders (at most venues orders are taken early but the kitchen doesn't start until they're ready). No big drama, get some drinks. The bar had a good choice on tap, so I ordered a Coopers for myself and my wife (who is a Type I diabetic) ordered a Coke Zero. My wife took one sip and said "this has sugar in it" - confirmed with a glucometer. Quizzed old mate at the bar and he said "I pressed this button!" gesturing at the Coke Zero. Entirely possible someone has hooked up the wrong syrup but he was arguing the toss. Eventually gave us a bottled Coke Zero. OK, time to order. I asked for the wagyu on the special board. Someone who appeared senior in the kitchen yelled out "there's no wagyu!". Hey, let's go for the next best option on the board, the ceviche. "There's no ceviche either!" was the reply. This bloke was muttering expletives as he walked from the kitchen (felt his frustration). Right, nachos it is. The kitchen was actually working very well, and we received our dishes in a great time frame. I was pleasantly surprised by the degree of heat in the nachos - it was overpowering - however if this was served to a regular punter they would more than likely complain. The only thing of note here was the great kitchen performance - otherwise give the service staff a wide berth.

I have stayed there so far for the past 2 months on work travel, My stay is awesome everyone is very friendly, professional and always had time for you. The manager Frank would often check on you and any issues whatsoever large or small were handled swiftly and without hassle. They are all such dedicated and hard workers! I would totally recommend them. Thank you Hoey Moey hotel and restaurant you guys are amazing! 10 stars!

Absolutely beautiful! Really enjoyed the brisket burger 🍔 😋 also great drinks and a nice selection of alcohol. Lovely staff and service, they were very accommodating and I can't wait to return. Backpackers hotel located on premises also.

Nice place for drinks and reasonable price meals. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ordered fried chicken and a supreme pizza. They were nice but not as good and delicious as the chicken schnitzel we had last year the serve was big and the prices were very reasonable. I would go there again next time we go to Coffs.

This place was recommended by a local business, we arrived for dinner to what sounded more like a head banger band fest that dining music. No one to seat us, finally managed to get the attention of one of the bar staff who told us the kitchen wasn't open yet. After reviewing the ambiance at about zero we left. Seems if this is a recommended place then the bar and the expectations of locals is set to very low.
